Contacted Cabinets to go in early 2021 to get a quote on cabinets and Elizabeth Jessen reached out and sent me a follow-up e-mail but after that, I did not hear back from her until I reached out to customer service to find out why I never heard anything back from her. This was a bad sign so I put ordering my cabinets on hold for a while. After looking around I decided to give Cabinets to Go another try and once again worked with Elizabeth but this time she was responsive and got back to me in a timely fashion. I wonder if her attitude changed since and realized I was a serious buyer. I order my cabinets and was told about this outstanding warranty which sold me. My cabinets arrived but due to COVID19 and other family emergency deaths in the family my project got put on hold and I was not able to build everything as I planned right away. At the start of April, I finally was able to build my cabinets and found out that one cabinet had a cracked front, another had a broken cam lock and another one was missing all the pieces to put it together. I contacted Elizabeth who told me that she will put in a claim to get them replaced but that claim was denied and I was told that I could buy replacement parts if I wanted to even do the cabinets have a warranty and craftmanship is included in the warranty. I spent over 8k on cabinets and they want me to spend more to get fix what their QA people did not catch. Elizabeth has wiped her hands of it, and so has their customer service team. Beware that they don't care about the customer and just care about the bottom line, the pieces that are broken would cost under 200 bucks to replace and instead of me being comped for them Cabinets to Go just wants more of my money I would not recommend them or Elizabeth who only replies to e-mails that are going to benefit her I am still waiting on a reply about counters that I wanted to buy and took 4 e-mails before Elizabeth sent me the warranty information I asked for. read more

The salesperson was not very helpful when we went to the showroom. The cabinets we wanted did not come in white. Our second pick did not come in the right size. The ones we got were more expensive. After installation, I saw 7 cracks on the doors and the pre-drilled hole was in the wrong spot on one door. We told the installers we wanted the same layout and cabinets we had in the kitchen. Even after taking measurements, one cabinet is smaller than requested. The cabinet for the sink is larger so now I can not reach my upper cabinets nor my window. I had to call them and the installers many times to get the work done. One cabinet had to be reordered because it was made wrong. They did not reach out to me. I had to call many times before they came to finish the work. Made arrangements for my delivery between 3-6. The driver was very rude when he called and came at 11. Called Bolingbrook for explanation and no one answered the phone. Called Schaumburg several times before someone answered. Should be zero stars. Bought cabinets. Told we would receive them in 7 - 10 days. Now 7 weeks later we are getting them installed. Apparently they were back ordered. They come from Malaysia. Why didn't they tell me? Shipments from Malaysia do not appear overnight. I am installing the cabinets that arrived. We told them to deliver the items that were there. I still do not have trim pieces, panels for island, and finishing materials. I have been without a kitchen since mid October. Now I find out I will not have a countertop until after Christmas. This will be two major holidays that we are without a kitchen. They do not install cabinets or make countertops. The delay is not the fault of the outside companies. The Customer Care phone number only takes messages. No returned calls. The salesperson has lied to me numerous times: delivery date of cabinets, who to contact for countertops, saying she returned messages when she did not, will not take my calls when I call (I am told she is with a customer. Who am I? I am a customer.) This has been the worst experience I have ever had. Management has called to hear my issues, but never called me back, even though I left messages. You get what you pay for. I will update as the process continues. Hopefully something positive, but I am not holding my breath. read more

update: my husband spoke with Tonya @ the corporate office & turns out they wouldn't have my sink base for a couple weeks so she overnighted us the doors needed in order to fabricate the sink at no charge and even refunded us for the sink so that we can pay our contractor to do the work. Heather dropped off the sink. All and all, we are happy with the service and cabinets. Mistakes happen but at least they owned up to it and made it right. In the process, and without us asking, he managed to change a few things to save us money and then provided a further discount when we ordered our granite countertop through them. So, #1 - the price is extremely reasonable. #2) Mike always responded to me. Whether an email or a phone call, he was prompt, answered my questions, and very courteous. That is absolute GOLD these days. We had one cabinet on backorder but he kept us updated on this and we got it about a week later. #3) We LOVE the cabinets! they are high quality and look fantastic. The worst company - buyer be aware!!!! DO NOT ORDER YOUR CABINETS FROM THIS HORRIBLE COMPANY!!! You will receive the wrong cabinets, cabinets on back order and never get help from their customer service. They sent us the wrong cabinets with our order, we ordered white and they sent us tan cabinets. Then - several cabinets and doors were damaged in shipping. They said they would replace all items, WRONG and they lied. I have been waiting since May for a replacement door for our pantry that was damaged during shipment. They claim the door was on backorder, then it was stuck in customs and now they are saying it was shipped to the store for pickup - guess what, the store doesn't have the door and they don't know where it is. It is now September, I have called customer service every two weeks looking for this door. I was notified that a manager would call me. hahahah - no one ever called. I called customer service again - asked to speak with a manager and was told that they cannot forward calls to a manager and that they needed to email them in order for me to receive a call back. I had placed an order for new kitchen cabinets for the home. The majority arrived in a timely manner without issue. One cabinet which was delayed/back ordered was delivered a week and a half later It was the wrong size clearly listed on the box versus my order sticker slapped on the box with the correct size. They promised to get me the correct one in a week. It has been over 3 weeks with promises it would be on the next truck or shipped directly to me by FEDEX. Nothing has changed and I continue to get promises with no results. This cabinet is a corner one so the installation of the other units have to work off this one. That's why I need this one. The miscommunication between the store and lack of attention at the warehouse has been abysmal and totally frustrating. If I could give them NO STARS at this point I would. Despite some of the negative reviews I decided to use cabinets to go to do my mini bar and bathroom for my basement project. I worked with Heather and she was very courteous and helped me out with getting everything done as needed. The order process was fairly smooth and everything was delivered on time and as expected. This company is a JOKE! I ordered cabinets, flooring and butcher block through them and the people at the Schaumburg and Bolingbrook locations were delightful. The customer service from the corporate level is HORRENDOUS. I called at least 8 times trying to get an answer as to where my cabinets were. Regional managers never returned phone calls. Everyone had different answers and none of them were right. Some of the cabinets and flooring arrived, to the wrong location. My contractor went and picked up the flooring and we demanded the cabinets be shipped to my house. However since not all the cabinets arrived they can't be installed. Just heard from my contractor who finally had to take over the phone calls because we thought the company would care about getting more business (clearly we were wring!), another shipment is supposed to come tomorrow. However we were just told TODAY that half the cabinets and the butcher block are backordered until September. We asked about returning the cabinets we have and cancelling the order but since we got rid of the boxes for the cabinets we had already built they are giving us crap. He was on top of every thing and several times redesigned the kitchen and revised the costs for me. I am very pleased with Cabinets To Go in Bolingbrook, IL. Originally went to a "big box" store for help and quoting, etc. and got absolutely no help. I left that store and went to Cabinets To Go where I was greeted immediately and was able to get immediate help from Tim who was very knowledgeable and willing to help. I was lucky to come across a 50% discount on the cabinets I wanted. Tim handled every aspect of this kitchen cabinet/counter top project - from start to finish. I didn't know there are so many steps and things to coordinate but he coordinated everything. From cabinet order, handle order, on-site measurements, cabinet delivery, on-site cabinet assembly, cabinet installation, handle installation, granite selection, granite on-site template made, granite on-site custom fitting, granite installation and granite sealing. If I had a question Tim always answered the phone and was happy to help. I bought my cabinets on 3/21/18 and they were installed and finished approx 4/5/18. Then the granite counter-top took over and it wasn't long before the whole project was complete. When I chose the piece of granite from the samples in the store Tim suggested that I visit the granite stone factory to actually choose my own piece. This is not required but suggested. I am so glad I followed his advice because I didn't realize there are so many variations of stone. There were slabs with definite color differences. The factory explained that sometimes slabs come from different quarries so they may appear different but are the same type of stone. Thankfully I went and picked one that matched the store sample perfectly. read more

I went into Cabinet to Go (Bolingbrook) two weeks ago and sat with one of the sales associates (Ross) to get an estimate. After going over my measurement and picking out the cabinets my wife and I liked, I was told that he would be emailing us an estimate along with the design picture. One week later no email so I called in to check on the status, he emailed some picture but no estimate. I emailed him and called him again he asked for my address and a week later no estimate.
