We stayed at the Altitude Adjustment in mid June 2022. The cabin was fine but several items did not work or function very well. The TV in the Living Room is relatively small, picture seemed to be 480 not 1080p, the tub in the upstairs was large but no stopper nor instructions on how to use. I didn't see any place in the bathroom to turn on the jetted tub. These were more or less inconvenient. The picture on the website should be updated to reflect the new cabin being built 50 feet away. Checkin was listed at 4pm but we decided to check out the outside of the cabin prior. The deck was great and the view was great too. We even seen 3 bear cubs playing in a fairly close tree. We walked to the hot tub on the deck and discovered that the mama bear was digging through the bags of garbage that were not placed in the bear-proof trash cans. We got some great pics AFTER we backed off the deck to our vehicles. I called CabinsUSA and they said nothing they can do but call Tn. wildlife. In hind-sight, the actual bear encounter could have turned out much worse. I added 3 pics of the bears. I would consider the cabin again but only if the minor inconveniences were repaired or replaced. read more

We rented a cabin July 27, 24-August 3rd in Pigeon Forge in one of CabinsUSA cabins in Starr Crest Resort (Copper Ridge Lodge) -Our family goes on a family vacation once every 2 years. I picked this place, this cabin because it had everything we wanted & needed to make our vacation great & comfortable.  But the washing machine was broke when we arrived- took 2 days to get towels to us- the cabin's temperature was hot on main floor and more so in the 2 bedrooms on that level. Although the filters all were changed by my husband those 2 bedrooms were still not comfortable. And one of those bedrooms had an ant problem and my daughter, son in law had to move out of the bedroom. Also, only 3 out of the 6 jacuzzi tubs worked. And to top it off the hot tub/swim spa did not work the last 3 1/2 days we were there (out of 6 1/2 days) Also, included in cost of the stay was a cleaning fee but the cabin was dusty & there were spider webs in corners and on top of some of the kitchen cabinets..... Leaving a review for "ON THE ROCKS" We booked an entire week for our family of 8. To say I'm disappointed in spending almost $4000 to stay here. We had over 100 dead flies on the top of our kitchen cabinets that could be seen from the stairs walking to the top floor bedroom. The shower did not drain properly, cabin sleeps 14 people but only one person could use the shower at a time with 3 bathrooms. The cabin was NOT clean at all! Food grime on the cabinets that the cleaners just skip over. They never emptied our garbage cans for an entire week. we had to stack up multiple bags at the end of our trip. During the trip we had 3 women and 3 kids... there was two random vehicles that showed up trying to say they were scheduled to stain our entire cabin inside and out. I wouldn't even let these men step food on the porch, they barely spoke any english. There was old cans and trash all down the sides of the hot tub. The entire side of the cabin was covered in garbage. the cabinet in the kitchen fell off when I opened it to get a plate out. The dryers lint catcher was broken and cut out hands multiple times. To top it off as we were leaving... the cleaners (4 random men in a truck) showed up and creepily sat at the end of our small 2 car wide driveway watching us load up. I had to question them and make them leave as we had 45 minutes still and it was making my little uncomfortable. The tv in the "game/theater room" was alright but couldn't work any remotes besides the xbox. The kids room tv didn't work at all. no controllers nothing. My kids were bummed. The only reason I am giving this place 2 stars is because I spent an entire week with my family, enjoying our vacation and we decided to not let the shitty cabin rental ruin our time. This is now my second time staying with cabins usa and I will never give any of their rentals another chance. The first one I thought maybe it's just this cabin... NOPE! They are only there for the money. I mean... I had to buy pans to cook with! We stayed at Endless Sunsets. The view and location are good. The cabin majorly needs a deep clean. It definitely is not "premium" nor does it contain a "wide selection of amenities" as stated in the description. Kitchen is lacking. There are only 8 forks and 8 spoons. Same is true for water/drinking glasses. There are no hot pads, no broom, no working vacuum, no rugs. A laundry basket or two would be an immense upgrade. had to walk from the 3rd floor to the lower floor with clothes in grocery bags. Moldy shower curtains in all showers. Ash bucket by grill filled to the top/overflowing. Dirt and dust bunnies on the stairs when we arrived. Not a huge deal, but then we noticed dirt and dust everywhere: window sills, ledges, blinds, any type of vent/filter in the house is COVERED in layers or dust. All 4 fry pans were filled with black flecks and one had chunks of food on it. Golden tee didn't work. Back door leading to deck wouldn't shut. Dryer has broken exhaust vent. Dryer exhaust goes directly into the house. I picture this being a fire hazard so I would look into fixing it. TV in main room cable box broke wouldn't turn on. TV in movie theater also couldn't turn on, internet wasn't working.We had a heck of a time and spent LOTS of countless hours trying to get the kids to watch a movie. Horrible!!! The worse cabinet I ever been too and me and my family been on alot of cabin trips . I stayed at the Pool and a Theater Lodge . First I had to call to get the code to the door cause my pencil said error . No one could give me the code cause they showed the same and was told to call when I was on my way to figure out the key code . Check was 4pm , I arrived a little after 5 and there were people painting the outside of the cabin and was told housekeeping had not been there to clean yet . Called and talked with reservation supervisor Amy and was told that they had to send another cleaning crew out and it would be another hour and half before we can check in . I drove over 9 hours with kids and elderly with me . We didn't check in until 10pm . The door code didn't work and the locksmith came out and we had to use an actual door key the whole 5 night stay. Upon entering we assume the place would be spotless considering the wait time and we walked in as housekeeping walked out . The sheets was dirty and nasty, the beds were broken , pool was disgusting and the rail to hold onto to get in the pool was broken . Theater room picture quality was horrible , furniture was broken , dirty and had stains. Sent pics immediately to Amy and no response. Pool guy came out twice and was finally able to half way use the pool after the 3rd day . We were told that our cabin was under renovation and should have never been rented out yet . We paid 5k for 5 nights because we got the first night refunded . I had to buy brand new sheets and cleaning products . That cabin should have never been available to rent and for the amount of money me and my family paid was ridiculous. A rip off . Never again. Will I ever book through Cabin USA . They offered express check-in online which meant we were able to head straight to our cabin when we arrived in town. We had to call for service on a beeping smoke alarm and they came out very quickly after hours to fix it. Everything was as advertised online and the cabin was amazing! Mistletoe Lodge itself easily slept 10. The two jacuzzi hot tubs in the King rooms were amazing but the jets in the hot tub outside didn't work. For a cabin that sleeps 10, they gave us 6 large body towels. The WiFi doesn't really work downstairs unless you are near the staircase. There could be more cookware in the kitchen but they do supply a regular coffee maker, a Keurig, and a toaster oven. The drive to the cabin itself wasn't too scary and we were easily able to fit five cars in the parking area. read more

We stayed in the Bar Mountain cabin. The facility was disgusting. Nearly every morning we had between 10-20 millipedes in almost every room. We called and complained and they sent someone out to throw some dust against the walls. Without informing us. With toddlers and an infant around, we were concerned with what was used. It didn't matter. It didn't help much. Also, on top of the infestation, the kids bare feet (or socks after the first day) were blackened after running around inside. There were other issues (clogged sinks, missing fridge shelves, absent lighting), but they all paled in comparison to the infestation and dirty floors. Contacted Cabins USA to get a refund and they refused to speak to me. They called my son back and offered a single day's refund which was not acceptable given that we dealt with the infestation and dirt every day. read more

We rented two cabins during our stay, hickory splash and waterlog. I would highly recommend hickory splash but I would avoid waterlog. Hickory splash was centrally located closer to town, clean property, modern amenities. Waterlog was difficult to locate, not clean meaning spider webs in the windows, rust stains and the commode, hair in the shower, and it is old and musty. Closer to Dollywood but probably one of the first cabins built on the mountain. read more

My family recently rented a large cabin to accommodate 25 family members. We all were very fortunate to be able to get off from work at the same time for the trip. We planned the trip so we could all stay together because my mother in law has kidney cancer and we wanted to be together with her before she started her treatments the following week. We drove from WV to Tennesee and when we arrived we were told our cabin was not available due to maintenance. So there we were with 25 people with no where to go so they told us they would give us 3 cabins side by side. It still wasn't going to be the same but we were ok with it. When we got to the cabins they were indeed not side by side. They were not even in view of each other. The cabins were filthy, the showers would not get hot, the pool stunk, and there was water under one of the beds coming out into the floor. The company told us they would accommodate us. It costed around 3,000 to rent the large cabin that we had originally planned on staying in. The cabins they put us in added up to be around 1900 for two nights. So they owed us at least 1100 dollars. They told my sister in law they would refund us 400 dollars which was a slap in the face and that is after she fought with them for a week. I would never recommend using cabins USA. read more

AT TRAILS END - DO NOT RENT THIS CABIN. CabinsUSA advertises this place as a LUXURY 2 BEDROOM CABIN IN ARROWHEAD RESORT! It's NOT a luxury cabin & it's NOT in Arrowhead Resort. It sits directly on a busy main road, on a curve with a very steep & dangerous driveway. . There exterior of the cabin needs work & the area around it is littered with trash & hasn't been weeded or mowed for a long time. This cabin is filthy. It's in disrepair & it's damp & moldy. It's obviously being ignored by the owner, as it appears no maintenance has been done for many years. Everything is dusty, dirty & broken, nothing works. There were no light bulbs in most of the lights, the outside lights didn't work, the door knob has a hole bored through the middle, no TV's worked, all of the components were uplugged & carelessly piled on top of eachother, the fireplace was broken, the internet didn't work, the alarm beeped all night, the floors are all gouged up & ugly, the & couch is dangerous. If you dare to sit, you fall right through. The beds needed to be replaced about 5 years ago. I sat on the bed & it went right to the floor. The walls are covered in dust, the cabinets are covered in dust, the mirrors were not clean & the toilets are gross. The toilet seats look like they've been there for 20 years, all worn through & discolored. They advertise 2 jacuzzi tubs, but the handle for the water fell off in our hands & the stopper didn't hold water. The back 'deck' is NOT a deck, it's a step that leads to a moldy, dirty looking hot tub that's totally uninviting because it backs directly up to the wet, moldy side of a mountain. You are literaly smack up against a dirt mountain that goes straight up behind the house to an eventual slope. It's dark out there in the daytime & scary at night. There's no deck because there's no room, yet they stuffed a stupid little hot tub out there that's totally unusable. Your back is to a dirt wall with weeds & spider webs hanging all over, plus it smells moldy. There's a tree that fell over just above, it's on the sloping part of the mountan & just teetering on the brink of coming down. The deck was covered in gross wet leaves & looked as if it hadn't been cleaned in years. Last year's Christmas decorations are still up. The back door has no weather stripping, the wood floor & door frame are sucking up moisture, they're wet & moldy. The gap under the back door lets in cold air & could also let in snakes, mice & bugs. This is NOT a luxury cabin & despite me telling Cabins USA that, I got no where for an entire day & had to wait until 8:30 pm the next day & only made headway after I started sending them photos of the cabin to prove what I was saying. CabinsUSA thought I should stay there for the entire 5 days, even though I was sick from the mold. When I insisted on another cabins they said I'd have to pay the difference in the rental amounts because they didn't have any cabins near us that were the same price. I gladly agreed to that, then on the next call they threw in $189 for a cleaning fee! The cleaning fee I already paid was obviously NOT used on cleaning, but they had the nerve to ask me to pay another one! Finally, after management received the photos I sent, they offered to let me move with no additional charges. We were there for 5 days on business & had a rigorous schedule which was interrupted by me either emailing or being on the phone with Cabins USA trying to get someone to help me. I had to practically beg them to get me out of that mold infested shack & as I said I only got moved AFTER I sent photos of the inside & outside of that horrible place. I was sick from sleeping there even 1 night. This cabin is not only in disrepair, it's scary. The manager I was speaking told me the repair man they sent after 5pm on the 2nd day said he didn't see or smell any mold. I asker her if she'd even been in this cabin & for her to come & see it for herself. She said it was impossible for her to see the cabin & when I asked, she admitted that CabinsUSA management do NOT visit the cabins they rent so they have no idea if they are what they say or not. She was telling me I had to stay in that ugly place but she's never even seen it. If Cabins USA is going to rent cabins, they should visit them at least once a year to ensure that their advertising is true & correct & that the cabins are being maintained by the owners. Cabins USA did not disappoint. Me and the family had a very enjoyable stay at their Creekside Hideaway cabin in Wears Valley. The cabin is conveniently located in a quiet area next to a babbling creek minutes away from Pidgon Forge and Gatlinburg; literally a few minutes away. My wife and I was major impressed with the cabin decor; all rustic and mountain home feel. The cabin was clean both upstairs and downstairs; from the refrig, shower, hot tub, the beds, game room, laundry room and every other amenity. The cabin pictured on the Cabins USA website is the cabin I stayed in; its was a big deal to me because I was really looking to see if I got the cabin pictured when I confirmed my reservation. I liked the express check in too; it saved time and it was a super easy process. Someone from Cabins USA customer service did call to check on us; they asked if everything was okay and told me to please call if I had any problems or needed anything. I did not have one single problem. When I checked out, I felt as though I got my moneys worth in cabin experience. Definitely plan on going back. Will definitely recommend Cabins USA to friends, family or anyone looking to rent a cabin in the Great Smokey Mountains. read more

Let me start by saying this is the second year I have booked with Cabins USA. Last year we stayed at laurel manor for our honeymoon and despite a couple doors being broken and it's not being cleaned at all when we arrived it was beautiful. This year for our one year anniversary we stayed at Sea of a clouds - which has a breathtaking view! But I'm leaving a 3 star review because the amount of bugs, webs, and dust everywhere was beyond me. I don't know why they charge so much for cleaning if nothings cleaned. Even the shower and the walls had some type of substance on it that grossed me out. There also was someone's socks behind one of the dressers sticking out on the side. Also Every morning we woke up freezing Because the thermostat changed on its own. Also there barely was any firewood but a trip to Publix fixed that problem. For the amount that is charged I'm really surprised at how dirty and how not fully stocked the cabin was. It only had one roll of toilet paper in the two bathrooms and we only had one roll of paper towels in the kitchen. Definitely not ideal for cleanliness. Also updating... The two garbage cans provided outside that were locked up we're completely full to the brim so whatever we had to throw out we couldn't because nothing was cleaned out from the previous people that were there. Cabins USA was a great company to rent from although we do not recommend renting the property, Sweet Willa's Cozy Cabin. The owner had 4 huge barking dogs on their property next door. These dogs barked all night every night. The owners were also upset that we used the gas fire pit that was provided on the deck. read more

The hot tub, located on the top balcony, was so relaxing, but since the heater runs at all times it was a little noisy at night. But nothing white noise couldn't cover up. Let me just start by saying we have stayed with Cabins USA before with only minor issues. We rented Two Cubs Den for the weekend. When we got there at 8:30 on Friday night, we instantly had issues with the cabin. First off, the cabin smelled very musty when we walked in. Second, the heat was set on 70 but it was 61 inside the cabin so the heat wasn't working very good. It was 43 outside so not super cold outside that would have caused the the heat to be not be working properly. Next, we found other issues. The rugs in every room had loose dirt all over them and some were stained, went into bathroom downstairs and found the shower curtain had black mold all over it and hair and a bug in the tub, cob webs all over the cabin, hair on the staircase banister along with dust, the countertop had something spilled on it and cob webs in the corner of counter, trash on the back deck, the couch was very worn and the mattress downstairs was old with a dip in it. We didn't dare pull the covers back to see what the sheets looked like. So we called the office to report. They apologized and moved us to another house not a cabin like we had originally booked. The name of it was the Byrd House. We get to the House and let me just say it smelled better when we walked in and the kitchen looked like it had been updated but that was it. We walked into the living room to find dark paneling and old furniture. Went toward bedrooms and there is a huge separation the floor where the house is so old that there was a hump that had caused the wood flooring to separate. There were loose pieces of hardwood flooring at the separation for you to get splinters or even cut your foot if you go barefoot. The furniture throughout the house is old. The pictures on the website make it look 100 times better but they are deceiving. It is very dark and gloomy. This house needs a complete over haul. Only good thing I can say about this house was it was clean. I didn't get any pictures of this because of being so frustrated at this point. By this time it is 9:30 at night so we got back in touch with Zachery for the 3rd time in an hour. Let him know we were not happy at all. We asked him for a cabin and he told us we would have to pay $176 extra for it. We were livid at this point. So then he told us he would split the difference if we would pay half of that so $88 is what we had to pay above what we had already paid. We finally said just do it but that is wrong. We have been given the run around since we got here. We had not eaten dinner yet and now we have to pay more than we originally thought. It wasn't our fault the first cabin was nasty and the second house was old and not fit to be rented. Oh and what about the cleaning fee that you pay when you rent a cabin. Where did that go on the first cabin? So we get to the third cabin and it was truly a cabin! We were happy with it but not happy we ended up having the run around and then had to pay extra to get a good place to stay! read more

I am going to start by saying that I have rented from Cabins USA prior with no issues. This trip was different. We drove over 9 hours to arrive at our cabin and were unable to get in with the provided key code on the door. So, a quick call to the number provided to us in our rental agreement and she said she would send someone up. Its pouring outside and were stuck in our car until someone arrived. My boyfriend then did some quick checking and realized there was no power to the cabin. That being said, it was raining really hard and windy in the area, but EVERY cabin around ours had power. So, we called the number again and said, "we can't get into our cabin and there's no power", to which they replied, "there's no power in any of the area, storms moved through earlier and took out the region". (Red Flag) I said, "No, there's power to the area, all the surrounding cabins have power, and the streetlights are working..." to which she argued, "no ma'am, there's no power, we checked with the power company". (Red Flag) To save the time of arguing, I said, "Well we are fine waiting it out if someone was on their way to let us in the cabin instead of sitting in the car". She said she knew nothing about someone coming up to let us in and no other calls were documented on our account. (Red Flag) She assured us that someone was then on their way from the office on the Parkway (approximately a 25-minute drive for us). Over an hour later, no one had shown up to let us in and we're still sitting in the car. I then decided to call back and check the status and maybe see if there was just another cabin we could get into, as I wasn't sure about the story of the power still being out at our location since all the streetlights and other cabins close by had power. I called and asked about getting transferred to a different cabin and was immediately offered to be transferred to a cabin that was much smaller and closer to town with none of the amenities that my cabin had, to which I declined. I was then transferred to a "manager", who immediately told me that there was nothing they could do due to this being a weather-related incident. I explained I understood, I was just looking for other options. Before the conversation could go any further, I was cut off and had to call back. Upon calling back, I was told there was no manager on duty at that time of night (9pm) (Red Flag) and that there was nothing anyone could do for us. I said that was fine, but wanted to make sure that someone was still on their way to us to let us in. The person then told me that it would be a while before anyone got to us and they were "very busy". I explained we had already waited over an hour, and I was previously told that they were only coming from the Parkway Office. He said he was then going to transfer me to Anthony, a manager, after previously saying there was no manager on duty at that time. After holding 15 minutes, I was greeted by the manager on duty and was told they were just going to refund my reservation cost entirely and we could find other accommodations. (Red Flag) No options given to stay, no options to wait, and now nowhere to stay after driving 9 hours and waiting there almost two. I was told that he was "being generous as reservations are NEVER refunded for weather conditions" and promptly hung up. I received an email about an hour later stating that my refund would be processed in ten business days (still waiting for this 7 days in). The customer service for this place was atrocious. I was polite the entire time but was treated as if I was being a problem with asking for someone to come let us in or trying to make other arrangements. Otherwise, we were able to find accommodations rather quickly with a company who provided a cabin that was just as nice (and $400 cheaper with the same amenities) who had electricity. read more

The views were great. They have such a cute little "leave a book take a book" library. The bears are out in full swing. We had one in our jeep and multiple mornings the same bear greeted us. Disappointed the jets in the tub were broken as I'm pregnant and couldn't enjoy the hot tub but my husband very much enjoyed every minute in the hot tub. Also at the huge windows every single morning for about 45 minutes to an hour, the cutest little Cardinal would visit and continually tap on the windows. The posts on the deck have nails hanging out and they blend in with the wood so watch your hands and knees if you lean on the railing. Overall a great visit with family. read more

With COVID-19 in play we could not take My son to Great Wolf lodge like we usually do so we decided to rent a cabin with its own indoor pool in pigeon forge TN. My son has been asking about Great Wolf for months and we kept telling him we were going to go to a place where he would get his own pool to himself. He was very excited. The drive up was not fun. Waze brought us through numerous tight back roads that the rain made that much less appealing. When we got to the complex with the unit it was a trip up unbelievably steep hills with single lanes and blind curves. We were very happy to be at the cabin and decided we were not leaving for any reason. So imagine our disappointment when we got there to find the pool was half full. There was a hose running from outside into the pool room propping the door open. The room was cold and the pool was half full of cloudy water. We called maintenance and about 2 hours later they finally showed up. Guy was nice enough but not much he could do. He estimated the pool would be up to the filter by maybe midnight. The system would then run and then clean and heat the pool. The pool was not up to the filter by midnight. It was not full after letting it run all night. So looking at a pool 3/4 full of cold cloudy water we called cabinsusa agian. I asked if they had another cabin with a pool we could shift to. He said he'd call me back in 15 minutes. An hour later he called back to say no they did not. So we packed up and left. I told cabinsusa that I had no intention of paying for this trip and was met with talk of well maybe there could be a partial refund. To their credit they did let me know later that evening that they would refund 100% of my reservation. But that doesn't change that I spent 4 hours in a car only to have to turn around and head home the next day. So I'm still pissed. My son was a champ. He did not fixate on the pool or that we couldn't use it. If he had it would have been even more of a nightmare. And all it would have taken was a phone call. If you told me ahead of time that the cabin was not ready I would have been upset but I would have understood. I might have even simply tried another week. Cabinsusa refunded my money but that is the very least they could have done and even that I had to make a stink about to make happen. So that was my experience. This cabin Soaring Ridge Lodge was perfect! The check in was so Covid safe! Went to the cabin & checked in on line! We had the best time with our kids and their spouses! The beds were super comfortable the view was beyond amazing! Loved the elevator option. We also loved the amount of bathrooms it had.The game room was a big hit and it just had something for everyone! Only thing we would've loved was instructions on how to use the karaoke machine but honestly that's minor compared to everything the cabin has to offer! My daughter did find a live scorpion in her bathroom which we didn't believe bec we had no idea that they existed in TN but they do however they are not poisonous (we looked it up). The wasps were annoying, there were quite a few but it's what you get in the mountains so you may want to go in the hot tub very early or late at night. Oh great hot tubs! Great sauna! PLEASE READ - We stayed at INDOOR POOL LODGE this was the worst experience I have ever had with Cabin USA. When arriving to the cabin the cabin was not clean, spider webs though out the cabin the cabin had ROACHES I called the office they sent someone out to spay the next day the guy only spayed the kitchen. The top floor was very hot! The pool was ice cold, the jacuzzi did not work, shower curtains was very nasty and dirty the outside of the cabin was not cleaned. Each blinds in the cabin was torn we had to place paper towels to the front door because the blinds was torn. trash was left from previous guest. The fridge leaked water, A sign posted in the bathroom " say don't get water on the floor it will leak to the down stairs bathroom" the cabin is very old with a real foul smell. BEWARE OF INDOOR POOL LODGE THEY ARE MAKING MONEY OFF THIS CABIN, and not putting any work into it. read more

Grand Pinnacle. The cabin is a nice place to crash and hang out at. However, if you don't have all wheel drive, the driveway is a nightmare to get out of. You have to go in through the other side if you want to pull through. I also need to warn you about the bears. There are 3 that hang around and they will come onto the porch so do not leave food outside. We contacted maintenance about the TV's (2) not working, the broken objects, and the malfunctioning hot tub but they never came to fix the issues. We are also positive that the laundry room and adjoining bathroom has black mold. The ceiling between each of the floors is VERY creaky. You can hear everything that happens above your head including conversations. If you're looking for a cheap place to lay your head at night then go here. Second time in a row we have had issues with a cabin. We are long time renters with Cabins USA and have stayed in many cabins with them over the years. Upon arrival the cabins were messy and this time the whole cabin smelled like smoke. We called the office immediately and the gentleman who answered stated he would put in a work order. While we appreciate them trying to fix the issue. We find it unacceptable that after driving 6 hours to get here the cabin wasn't in good shape to start with. It really shows that Cabins USA needs to review there maintenance department. We will be reevaluating staying with them in the future which is disappointing because we have made lots of great memories on vacations in the smokies. So disappointed in Cabins USA read more

USA cabins is an amazing company. I have now booked with them twice. They make the check in and out process super easy! I definitely enjoyed the first cabin I went to more than Tip Too, which wasn't clean all the way when we got there. But that didn't stop us from having an amazing weekend! We had a terrible experience using Cabins USA. They allowed our group of 20 to check into the Great Aspirations Cabin, TN on 12/29 knowing that the community was under a water emergency and had little to no running water for the duration of our stay. We found out from the cleaning crew upon arrival of the water issue when they informed us NOT to use the Hot Tubs because they had not been cleaned appropriately following the last guests. We called Cabins USA to confirm, first they told us that the information was false but then called back to say... that yes, use of the Hot Tubs and community Pool were unsafe. We have since researched to find out that the Cabin Owners & Cabins USA were notified by the neighborhood's HOA President on 12/25 that the problem existed. It is mind-blowing to read that Cabins USA KNEW of this problem and did not A. give us the opportunity to cancel our trip (which we traveled over 12 hrs for) or B. offer to provide other accommodations. We have no way of even knowing if our Family was sleeping in clean linens... By Day 2 & 3 we had Family members in the local Urgent Care center with signs of the Flu which left us questioning... without running water, how was the Cabin sanitized from one Family to the next?! Cabins USA has refunded some of the rental cost.. but we made it clear that we expect a full refund. They are now not returning our calls. What was supposed to be a low key Family getaway curled up in a cabin playing games & cooking our favorite meals together turned into 20 of us avoiding the Cabin as much as possible during TN's coldest weekend of the year staying close to places with functioning restrooms and prepared meals which nearly doubled what we went there anticipating to spend. This was a total disappointment for our Family and was 100% avoidable. (The Picture shows you how we had to brush our teeth. We stayed in cabin "Lookin up" for 4 days. It isn't a really bad cabin but definitely needs some maintenance and upgrades. Would have been nice to know the dishwasher was turned off at the breaker box because the bottom sprayer had broken and melted on the heat element. The WiFi password was wrong. Called but no response so i drove to the cabins USA office and retrieved the correct one. The grill is burnt completely up. The fireplace didn't work. The pool table is worn out. Overall the place was pretty clean as long as you don't move any furniture to locate a wall plug. The. You find lots of leftover things. For us what was expected to be a nice getaway was still ok just disappointed in the poor condition of this cabin for what you pay. read more

Review for EMERALD VIEW CABIN For the most part, we enjoyed our stay at the Emerald View Cabin. It had the view and isolation we were expecting, as well as, the amount of sleeping accommodations we expected. However, the cabin did not exactly live up to its advertised billing. During our stay, we encountered a multitude of problems and issues we feel should have been corrected before our rental dates 1. When spending over $1200.00 for 4 nights of lodging in a cabin with a fire place, one would presume a $6.00 stack of fire wood would have been made available for the renting customers. The last thing we wanted to do after checking in at 4:00 is to be going back out to search for firewood in an area that we are not familiar with. Furthermore, for the amount of money being charged per night, one would expect a more comfortable and usable brand of toilet paper than, what was provided. 2. The SPA did not have a cover, and because of that, it took forever to warm up and not even to the correct temperature. This made it basically unusable for that evening. After the third night, we believe a bear or other animal, made its way into the spa and brought in mud and debris making the spa extremely dirty and unusable. (Call was made to CABINS USA) 3. Out of the 6 pool sticks that were available, only 2 had tips. And those tips that were on, were extremely warn and pretty much unusable. 4. The Air Hockey Table legs were bent/broken on one side, making it unusable. 5. The master bedroom did not have a remote to change the cable channels, the remote that was used in the living room had to be shared. 6. The HDMI cable or Cable Box was not working correctly for the TV in the living room. (Call was made to CABINS USA), a maintenance person did come out and replaced the cable, but it still was not functioning properly. And though he was extremely nice he came into our cabin without wearing a mask. 7. One of the Smoke Detectors had a low battery, and we heard the "chirping" noise during our first night at the cabin. (Call was made to CABINS USA), and a maintenance person came out to replace the battery. 8. On our last night, it rained pretty constant and a leak developed in one of the bedrooms, right over the bed. Our guests had to sleep on the couch that last night. (Call was made to CABINS USA). 9. The Master Bath/Shower Tub has a very bad "soft spots" as you enter the tub. This should definitely have been fixed prior to any renters, as it certainly poses a safety issue if one is not aware. 10. The Window in the Master Bath, did not have a curtain or blinds that could be used for privacy. We felt that we could possibly have been seen from the cabins on the hill behind the Emerald View Cabin. On the CABINSUSA Website for Emerald View, there was a mini-blind installed on the window. There was also a very torn up mini blind in the master bedroom making the bedroom visible to anyone on the deck. 11. Not that it was needed, but there was not a sofa-sleeper in the Master Bedroom, that was seen on the CABINSUSA Website for Emerald View (again the cabin not living up to its advertised billing). 12. The water in the refrigerator did not work properly. You push the lever and the water does not come out or where it is suppose to it came out from behind the lever and out on the floor. 13. Finally, the kitchen was stocked better than other cabins we have stayed at but the pans need to be replaced when all the Teflon coating is no longer on them. read more
