I had them replace an older Aiphone intercom with Unifi access and they came and installed a Unifi door reader, cleaned up my door strikes, installed a unifi in wall in a rental unit so we could pass through an additional POE port to a Unifi intercom and then came up with an idea to consolidate my networking gear in my garage so I changed scope after day 1 to include that and also setup a gate hub automation. I also had them do a new cat6 run and they did a great job with that as well as patching up the holes from older cables. Great communication - they know their networking and Unifi gear and I would recommend to others looking for ethernet/wireless/security cameras and expertise with Unifi gear.

They recommended a high-quality system at a fair price and were able to schedule the installation quickly. I unexpectedly had to stop the work midway through the installation, and they were extremely understanding. They even declined payment when I offered to compensate them for the interruption. They returned the very next day, finished everything, and did an excellent job. I now have blazing-fast, reliable internet throughout my condo, and the gateway they installed has great features, including built-in ad blocking. Honest, knowledgeable, responsive, and professional. I would highly recommend Cable Schmable.

In those two years Jake has reached out 3 times to check on my home and his work. It just seems to be how he is. In those two years I've reached out with some admittedly stupid questions and each time he's addressed my concerns without any snark or down talk that some techie guys use when speaking to plebes. I needed additional home tech stuff and naturally I reached out to Jake. His response was timely given his work load and he immediately offered elegant solutions to an inelegant problem. (Someone in my neighborhood is actively using my gravel yard as a dog pit stop and leaving me nasty surprises ). Jake offered some very clever options up to and including an outdoor speaker paired with my existing camera system (that he installed ) to politely ask the offending dog owner to remove their dog waste. Ultimately my wife vetoed the idea of me having the ability to leave audio messages for bad neighbors. But Jake's suggestion of an upgraded new camera with AI facial recognition and a wider field of view was perfect. Within a week Jake personally came back and upgraded the camera thus negating the one small blind spot the offender had been using. He kept his word. He sent me tutorials and worked with me not even being home to ensure that I was 100% satisfied with my upgraded surveillance view before leaving. Setting standards and holding yourself to them are key to excellence. Keeping your word and delivering what you promise are key to excellence. But. Excellence isn't derived from robot like adherence to guidelines. It's a combination of many intangible things. It's rare these days to encounter true excellence in almost any field. I hired Jeff Hipon to sync 7 accounts with Outlook 2015 and install a memory-booster package I bought online for my MacBook. There were so many potential pitfalls I was afraid would cause problems he wouldn't be able to deal with, but Jeff never even paused to think for a minute during the entire hour and a half he calmly and steadily sat at my kitchen table working. All in all, Jeff is a cool, super-courteous, trustworthy dude in addition to being an exceedingly skilled computer tech. His high patience-level could put kindergarten teachers to shame. He didn't seem the slightest bit annoyed when I couldn't initially remember some of my passwords . . . or when I didn't think to tell him I changed the functions of my basic command keys to make my own keyboard shortcuts . . . or when he had to reinstall, sync, and delete Outlook 2011 to install the 2015 edition and I didn't pay him for the extra work . . . or when I started asking him random questions. I didn't intend to ask him so many unrelated computer questions that came to my mind while he was working, but I couldn't help but do it when I realized that he not only knew all the answers, but he also had the ability to explain them to me in a way I easily understood, even though I don't have anywhere near the level of field-specific knowledge that he has acquired. He listened to me talk about the various programs and functions I was wondering about for a longer duration of time than most would be able to forego interruption. He didn't even interject to correct me when I described materials and apps whose names I didn't know to identify them in conversation. Jake noticed the possibility of cleaner LAN cord management in the garage using wall plates for which he made a Home Depot visit during the appointment. Overall, all the Access Points were up and running within the time budget discussed prior to the call. Also, Jake helped with the Eero app setup for monitoring the usage. Been using for a couple of weeks now and things are looking pretty good so far in all locations of our home. Strongly recommend this service!

As it turned out, the wiring was fine, this other outfit had no idea how to trace the wiring and determined that it was necessary to open the wall board to find the open circuit and/or run new wiring. AAA installed a new Airphone system for less than 800 USD and only took a couple hours to complete and test the system operation. Recommend them highly; 5 stars!
