    Wine & Beer

Stopped in for a beer and a glass of wine . Sat outside on the patio and was a nice warm evening. I agree with the other reviews that the service is a bit slow. Took a bit to order and get our drinks. Maybe plan just a little extra time. We didn't order food but the menu was quite big and the plates that did come out around us looked good. The staff was great. Very friendly and helpful. Good place to meet up with friends or a group. Lots of space and a nice atmosphere. I'd definitely stop in for a meal next time we visit.

The only bar/pub we could find that was open past 8pm in Fort Morgan (on a Monday). Very Covid compliant, masks required & tables spaced out to the extreme. The menu is unique; filled with Mexican food, calzones, mac n cheese, sandwiches, pizza, plates, pasta, salads and traditional appetizers (nachos, wings, etc). We ordered the steak nachos (barley any cheese or toppings), chicken sopapilla (it was overly smothered in some sauce with NO melted cheese as described ithe menu. ALSO, for the sides, there was maybe 15 black beans, brown guacamole and a quarter size dollop of sour cream--all pretty sad), the Mac n cheese (is a huge bowl of penne noodles with a tablespoon portion size of cheese- we asked for an extra side of cheese sauce as it was SO dry) and the buffalo wings cooked well done (they were not crispy at all). A bit disappointed with the experience.

the godfather calzone (only $5 on sunday)

I had a burger and it was fantastic! Cooked medium and not dry. Very juicy. Great service for lunch. But hummus was not authentic.

We stopped in just before 9:30 PM…read morehoping for wings and a beer, only to be turned away despite plenty of customers still dining inside. Apparently serving paying customers a few minutes before closing was too much to ask. My reply to the owner... Thank you for your reply. Unfortunately, your response reinforces the concerns I expressed in my original review. Rather than addressing the customer experience, you chose to dismiss it by focusing on the time we arrived and by implying that my review was the result of me "needing a great day." That kind of sarcasm does not reflect the level of professionalism customers should expect from a business owner. You stated that you personally saw us enter at 9:40 PM and that the kitchen had already closed at 9:30 PM. However, I take accuracy seriously, and I do not appreciate being misrepresented. I have a screenshot documenting the time I left your establishment, which directly contradicts the timeline presented in your response. If the facts are important enough for you to publicly defend your business, they should also be important enough to present truthfully. To be clear, businesses have every right to establish kitchen hours and closing procedures. Had the situation simply been explained professionally and courteously, my review likely would have reflected that. What stands out is not the policy itself, but the way concerns were handled afterward. I travel extensively throughout the United States and internationally, reviewing small family-owned businesses because I genuinely enjoy supporting them. In many cases, when an owner responds thoughtfully and demonstrates a commitment to customer service, I am willing to reconsider or update a review. In this case, however, instead of leaning into customer service and understanding, you chose to defend, justify, and direct sarcasm toward a customer. I can accept mistakes. What I have a much harder time accepting is dishonesty. The screenshot of the time I left your establishment speaks for itself. I wish you and your business the best, but I stand by my review. To make matters worse, we had a similar experience elsewhere in Sterling when a Sonic employee snapped at us for trying to place an order. Thankfully, Village Inn restored a little faith in customer service with friendly staff, welcoming patrons, and genuine hospitality. If you're traveling through town, don't expect Parts and Labor to go out of its way for customers. We were in and out in under a minute--with nothing but a bad impression to take with us.

Even though they weren't that busy, we still waited a long time to get served. We were definitely ready to get out of the sun. My daughter tried a few different things before she ended up with the pumpkin spice county fair cobbler sour. I got a flight of five different beers, ranking them as close as I can remember: 1. Out of office lager 2. Beer flavored beer 3. Leafer lager 4. Chela Noches lager 5. Barrel-aged undead Honestly, all five were fine, but 1-3 were my favorites. We sat for awhile and played with the resident black cat, Midnight, as well. I could see stopping back by on a future visit to Greeley.

Also if you do stop don't forget to buy your black cat sticker that is literally of the black cat in that bar. I think his name is Wiley.

Unfortunately, this visit was completely different. The service was extremely disappointing from start to finish. We waited about 20 minutes just for drinks and eventually had to go up to the bar ourselves. When we asked about it, the bartender simply said, "I'm working on it," which was frustrating given how long we had already been waiting. There were 4 tales in the restaurant and like 8 employees Things did not improve from there. Our food came out very slowly and one of the meals had to be sent back. We ended up having to go to the bar multiple times, including for a to go box and even to get our check, because no one was checking on our table. To make matters worse, the menu states that guests are asked to limit their visit to 90 minutes. However, due to the slow and inattentive service, we were there for nearly two hours through no fault of our own. There also used to be a sense of customer service here, which seems to have changed. To top it off, gratuity was automatically added without it being mentioned or explained. That felt especially inappropriate considering we ended up doing a large portion of the service ourselves. It's like they figured they were getting auti gratuity so didn't provide any service Really disappointing experience overall. Not sure what changed, but this was a huge step down from our previous visit.
