Meanwhile, I look on line now and they do not open until 10. Karma is real and he will realize it one day. I was so eager to get a new phone, I shrugged the negative sale experience and bought the phone. I spent over one hour in the store for the activation and transfer process. He seemed annoyed at my questions and barely offered any assistance. He was chit chatting with his coworkers as I was not there and provided the bare minimum to assist me. I was with my kids and he never provided the information that I could completed the process at home. After a whole hour and no progress on the transfer as my baby was getting fussy ,I asked him if I could complete it at home. He shrugged yes and told me I had one month to return the old phone to any store. I used my ID with my married name to pay and do the whole transaction. Last night I completed the process and went back to the store today to drop off the old phone on my lunch break as I am busy mom of two who works full time . The store associates today told me they were unable to process the old phone because the name on my ID did not match my current name on the account. I said I was just here and purchased a whole phone with the same ID yesterday in the same Store . The employee answered :" well the employee who helped you yesterday did not follow protocol. We cant do anything about it .You need to have the account holder change your name on the account before we can accept the old phone." They did not offer an apology for what happened and were just like eh. I am so disappointed as I Have been a customer of T-Mobile for over 10 years and was truly appalled at the terrible customer experience received both times and the level of unprofessionalism. Now after two trips in store and wasted lunch break, I have to call the T-Mobile line to update my name and return back in store third time to return the old phone. The low level customer service and the way the company bilks customers is astounding. They claim to be giving you a five (5) year price lock. In my case, two months later they change the name of your promotion to Promotion for Life. They say that this means that only the taxes can go up if they do, but not the price for the service in my case, $40.00 with $5.66 in taxes for a total of $45.66. Do not be fooled. All their promotions, regardless of names, can be renamed and repriced at any time. They actively promote Autobilling, which means they take the money directly out of your bank account each month. It is not worth getting a $5 reduction to have these crooks get access to your bank account. Once you provide them with your bank account number, they can help themselves to any amount. Prices with Astound change at the drop of a hat. They do this by claiming that your plan's name was changed. What this means is that they hiked the price. Am actively going to see if I can find a better deal elsewhere. These people are nasty and only interested in bilking customers. These are seasoned scam artists.

Take a long story short the deal was we where to get a monthly bill of $136.00 (that includes full unlimited service on data and tethers... the works. Also insurance and payments towards the phones) but instead was $260.00. Of course we went back and fourth with the store and Tmobile corporate. The issue was being dealt with from November till early February. The Manager at that store lied to us about payments and what was being sold to us. Corporate had to handle our account to get close of the deal she promised us! But this particular "deal" wasn't a real deal that Tmobile carried or approved of but they had to accommodate us because the manager at the store lied about this deal just in order to get us to buy phones. Also to add insult to injury she asked for $300.00 in cash to make this "deal" to happen when we 1stt went in store in November. Also we found out dealing with corporate was that this manager added an extra tablet line and watch line on our account. The manager at this particular store is exercising some suspected fraudulent practices in that store. If she's there beware of even dealing with this store!
