I want to recognize an employee who goes by GD for providing exceptional customer service. He took the time to patiently explain the basics of my new iPhone 17 and helped me understand things I had no clue how to do. He showed me how to transfer my information, navigate the phone, and use important features without ever making me feel rushed. What impressed me most was not only his knowledge, but also his professionalism and kindness. He is far beyond what most people would expect from a retail store employee. His expertise, patience, and willingness to help were truly outstanding. While I was in the store, I noticed he treated every customer with the same level of respect and attention. He is a real asset to T-Mobile and deserves recognition from corporate for the excellent work he does. The last time I received service this good was years ago when the Sprint store in Garden City was still operating. GD is a diamond in this store, and other employees could learn a great deal from his example. Yesterday for mother s day I visited the T-Mobile store in Roosevelt field mall at 630 old country road in garden city, NY and had a terrible experience. I wanted to upgrade my iPhone 13 to a 17e. The store associate who assisted me was very evasive and had the attitude as if I was a bother to him. I was so eager to get a new phone, I shrugged the negative sale experience and bought the phone. I spent over one hour in the store for the activation and transfer process. He seemed annoyed at my questions and barely offered any assistance. He was chit chatting with his coworkers as I was not there and provided the bare minimum to assist me. I was with my kids and he never provided the information that I could completed the process at home. After a whole hour and no progress on the transfer as my baby was getting fussy ,I asked him if I could complete it at home. He shrugged yes and told me I had one month to return the old phone to any store. I used my ID with my married name to pay and do the whole transaction. Last night I completed the process and went back to the store today to drop off the old phone on my lunch break as I am busy mom of two who works full time . The store associates today told me they were unable to process the old phone because the name on my ID did not match my current name on the account. I said I was just here and purchased a whole phone with the same ID yesterday in the same Store . The employee answered :" well the employee who helped you yesterday did not follow protocol. We cant do anything about it .You need to have the account holder change your name on the account before we can accept the old phone." They did not offer an apology for what happened and were just like eh. I am so disappointed as I Have been a customer of T-Mobile for over 10 years and was truly appalled at the terrible customer experience received both times and the level of unprofessionalism. Now after two trips in store and wasted lunch break, I have to call the T-Mobile line to update my name and return back in store third time to return the old phone. I am truly appalled and disappointed. they need to better customer service and to do better . read more

I am very disappointed about Tmobile. I hv a family plan for more than 10 lines for many years. Recently Tmobile said I hv to turn off my cellular data when I am in WiFi area . I hv to turn on my cellular dada when I am away from my WiFi area . If not I'll keep using my cellular dada even though I am under WiFi area. I hv a 6 G monthly plan . Usually I only use about 3 G a month . This month cycle in the first 7-8 days , Tmobile said I had used all my 6 G already. Bcz I didn't turn off my cellular data under WiFi. Suggested me to make 1 level up .... pay more for more Dada . I called Tmobile to complain.... took me 40 mins . That said they'll give me back my 6 G. 24 hrs later, Tmobile sent me message , said the 1G they gave me is almost finished using ... I better upgrade to 1 level up to keep the high speed service. I called them ,sent another 40 mins They said they'll give me back the 6G . Another 24 hrs later , Same thing happened again. I called , another 40 mins..... They keep asking me to upgrade pay more money ..... I told them : I turn off my cellular data when I am under my home & office WiFi, That's no way I need more than 6G They keep this again and again...... read more

Step Right Up Right Away In a Hurry Just Have to Pay Never been to this T-Mobile before store was clean well-lit and stocked with merchandise there were 2 people behind the counter a man and a woman the gentleman Brian Greeted Me, courteously and asked how he could Help me.. I told him I needed to pay my Bill, gave him my phone number and ID I was done and Out the door with my paper receipt in 5 minutes. No line at 2:30 p.m. on a Thursday. I HIGHLY DO NOT recommend this store franchise location on the main floor of Roosevelt Field Mall next to the "Subway" in one of main entrances near Macy's side of the mall. Apparently they were unable to process my refund because of "internet connection issues" ALL DAY! I attempted 4 times out of my day to go there and to try and return an item I had purchased the day before that was never used and still in the box and on all four occasions, they said there was still "no internet" and they were not helpful AT ALL. However, if you are looking for a T-MOBILE, please go to the Corporate location upstairs of the Mall near JC Penney. They helped me with out any reservations or issues and it was such delightful experience and I left as a happy customer. read more

I went in to see how much it would cost to upgrade the data on my phone. The first person that I spoke to barely wanted to give me any info since I am not the primary on the account since the primary(my mom's sister) wasn't there(even though my mom is authorized on the account). She said that because the account was made in 2005, there was no way to upgrade without making the account the T-Mobile One. When my mom came, she wanted more info so we spoke to another salesman who said that I could upgrade from 1GB to 2GB for no extra cost. How does 2 different sales people from the same location give out totally different information? read more

wish I could give o stars, went today to get a new phone since I dropped mine. I just wanted to get a prepaid one was looking at a phone for 168.00 the one girl behind the counter could care less that she had a customer didn't show me anything didn't try to help me and had an all around stank attitude since I walked in. I was wondering if it was because I was interrupting her personal call that she was on and continued to stay on the whole time i was there, I dared ask her a question such as how many gigs the particular phone I was looking at had? honestly I could go on and on about her attitude but she is not worth my time, she lost a sale because I wound up at another tmobile and spent my money there. p.s. I was the one and only customer in the store....the manager should montitor their lazy ass employees better! read more

Avoid at all cost! Last Friday, me and my boyfriend were planning on renewing our contract and getting new phones. The T-Mobile sales rep, Zee, told us about a promotional contract that would help us save money. Great! Gave us the first bad news which was that we would need to change our phone numbers and then continued to tell us that T-Mobile didn't have any Galaxy S 2 on hand but that they were going to have them available Monday. It is now Tuesday and Zee has still not contacted us back and no Galaxy S2. Stay away from this T-Mobile they make promises to make a sale but do not deliver. read more

I went there yesterday because I needed a a new SIM as per my conversation with Technical Assistance earlier. One of the reps told me that he could change my SIM for a $20 fee. I have been Tmobile customer 10+ years so I know that the $20 fee only applies to elective SIM changes, not defective/necessary ones. The other two Tmobile kiosks are closed, so The Cellphone Store/Tmobile Retailer seems to have thrown rules and decency to the wind. Anyway I left and went to an actual Tmobile store to pickup my free replacement SIM. read more

Too bad there isn't a 0 star. Run the other way! What a bunch of CROOKS! Signed up for a promotion, yes they promised me a lower bill too. They didn't even have all the phones in stock when they ported over my 4 numbers and left me without a phone for 1 week. You can expect to hear a steady stream of bold face lies between Demetris and Zee. They give you a smartphone with no service. Calls never came in, phone never rang from a land line 1 foot away. And the big scam is when you try to get out of the 2 week trial period because of their BAD service. They have the nerve to charge you a restocking fee based on the MSRP (which is NOT what you paid). So if you paid them $200 for the promotional price they were charging you 3% of $600 the MSRP. Furthermore T-Mobile corporate doesn't do much to help you since they are independent. If you are looking to switch your service to T-Mobile go to a corporate store not these franchise crooks. Next check which company's name is on the contract because there are a few names that they use and most are INACTIVE companies in NY State. Which technically means that all contracts are VOID if they are not licensed to do business in NY. read more
