This program launched in 2016. Now, the T-Mobile Tuesdays app got updated to the T Life app. The app is free to download. On some Tuesdays, T-Mobile offers free physical items for customers to redeem via the app and pick up in-store. Some of those items are reusable tote, winter blanket, socks in honor of Pride Month, a notebook in honor of Black History Month, Halloween "Trick-or-Treat" bucket, and so much more. On April 21st, T-Mobile stores were stocked with free reusable bags perfect for groceries, beach days, or everyday use for T-Mobile customers to redeem. The bags feature a rectangular design with a zipper up top and a grass design around the entire bag and a big T-Mobile 'T' logo. I visited this T-Mobile store on Old Country Road in Westbury, NY. There are a few parking spots up front. I clicked redeem on the perk and it started the timer of 5 minutes for redemption. Staff were friendly and helpful. The low level customer service and the way the company bilks customers is astounding. They claim to be giving you a five (5) year price lock. In my case, two months later they change the name of your promotion to Promotion for Life. They say that this means that only the taxes can go up if they do, but not the price for the service in my case, $40.00 with $5.66 in taxes for a total of $45.66. Do not be fooled. All their promotions, regardless of names, can be renamed and repriced at any time. They actively promote Autobilling, which means they take the money directly out of your bank account each month. It is not worth getting a $5 reduction to have these crooks get access to your bank account. Once you provide them with your bank account number, they can help themselves to any amount. Prices with Astound change at the drop of a hat. They do this by claiming that your plan's name was changed. What this means is that they hiked the price. Am actively going to see if I can find a better deal elsewhere. These people are nasty and only interested in bilking customers. These are seasoned scam artists.

The phone ended up not working fully. It can not receive calls even the customer service rep over the phone told him it may be a defective phone. He refused to provide his name because he started acting like a chick once he got on the phone with his boss saying I have an active phone so just come back at 8am and they can fix the problem. Meanwhile, I look on line now and they do not open until 10. Karma is real and he will realize it one day.
