Pool and hot tub options as an alternative to the surf.

Cabo Surf Hotel and Spa is ideal for those looking to avoid the rhythmic techno beats that carry on throughout the day and night elsewhere in this area. Their private beach offers a relaxing time for surfing or for those who prefer watching; the hotel also offers rentals and lessons for those who want to learn to surf too. Other amenities include the spa which was soothing with many tranquil aesthetics and services, as were the grounds with lush gardens that felt so tropical. This property offers a complimentary yoga class most Saturday mornings (held in a grassy garden area with oceanfront views) & it offers dining services daily at their onsite restaurant 7 Seas where most everything is made from scratch. This hotel was clearly designed to be a one stop destination for those who want an easy "stop and drop" experience to relax and recharge. And it definitely delivers. *Note - handicap access can require some coordination so check with management at the time of booking, to make the best selection for your individual needs.

I can't say enough about the service and the staff here at seven seas. No matter time of day that you have a meal here. The food is amazing and service is phenomenal. A special shout out to our bartenders Antonio and Cesar. Our great servers include Jenny, Artemio and, Rodrigo. Your beach and pool staff, Letty and Manuel run all day long to take such great care of everyone. And last, but certainly not least, Eric at the front desk it is extremely helpful and bends over backwards to ensure that you have the most perfect stay.

This place is truly a hidden gem!! We were not guests at the hotel but came to use the amenities. The restaurant 7 Seas was delicious with attentive service. The hotel offers beach rentals including chairs and umbrellas. The restaurant offers service at the beach. There are also rentals for surfing and paddle boarding. The surf school for hourly lessons. The beach was absolutely beautiful.

4th trip down to Cabo surf. We attending a wedding last weekend that was out of this world. The spa is amazing and the level of service is unmatched. Anything you would need to rent is right on the property. Cant wait to come back!

We just got home from a quick trip to this hotel, Overall it was a great place to stay. The staff was very friendly, Rooms were clean. The Surf spot in front the hotel is a really smooth fun wave. I would recommend staying here if you are looking to wake up and surf all day. They have everything you need! The only negative I have about this hotel was the FREE YOGA CLASS. DO NOT DO IT! The instructor was rude and left me feeling angry and stressed after what was supposed to be a nice relaxing start to my day. Also she said I might be charged for recording MYSELF practicing. So Cabo Surf is great!!!! Just skip the Free Yoga!

I will revisit and write a detailed update soon... But for now I have to say that my bf & I LOVE LOVE LOVE this hotel, the staff, the scenery, the whole are and vibe! My bf & I had been searching for a travel destination for a while and this hotel popped up miraculously on his feed and now it's gonna be a wonderful location to do yearly trips! First off Jesus and the entire front desk staff are all awesome! Hospitable and first class customer service! 7seas dining! Mucho deliciosO! Everything we ate and drank was 5Stars!!! I especially loved the surf & turf, the hamburgers are huge, and the guacamole platter was on point! Everything tastes fresh! I loved how the would offer sorbet to clean your palette! Even the complimentary bread and sauce was yum! surfing School! The surf boards my be rented were all great! I took a class with Luis and rode my first wave ever!!! Luis is a great instructor, bcuz I'm a new swimmer, never surfed before and he walked me every step of the way. For a doubtful person, I was able to catch 5 waves! He made sure my safety was always number 1. So take a class with Luis! He's great at encouraging you to be more confidant and enjoy the ride! Seriously THIS school & location is a great place for beginners to learn how to surf! spa- of course my bf wanted a massage! I opted for 1hr since I'm claustrophobic & he got the 90min. The spa was clean and the techs were great. They also have a hair salon and nail place there. There are 2pool/jacuzzi areas. One where kiddies primarily use & another which seemed adults use. I preferred the adult location and was able to watch my bf surf as I swam in the pool. Rooms! All rooms are excellent! I won't say what room number we had bcuz that's where we always want to book here on out! Check out the pictures of this place on the website! Not only do I have an amazing love , but a great new spot I'll remember forever & hopefully keep coming back to!

Soleado Beach & Spa Resort - Surf board rentals

Soleado Beach & Spa Resort

We have been fortunate to stay at the Soleado Resort and Spa. It is beautiful right on the beach…read moreand a key location for water activities. They rent surf boards, paddle boards etc. at a very reasonable price. Israel took my husband out surfing and they had a great time. We also had lunch at the restaurant (fish and shrimp tacos) they were so delicious I got so excited to dig in I forgot to snap a picture to share. These things were all great but the property is so special! They only have about 30 units so no problems getting a spot around the infinity pool with an umbrella or the beach.

I wanted to love this place. Here is what to love.....Intimate building with only 30 units. We rented the only 6th floor unit available with a plunge pool, sunning areas, bar top table and grill upstairs. Loved that space and privacy! People here were very friendly, from the staff (when they were here, more on that later) to the residents (they throw a pretty good owners party here) to the other guests. We loved having a kitchen in our unit (as does every unit) and had different groups of folks come cook for us in the unit and then also had some great dining around Cabo as well. Beds were good, pillows were plentiful as were towels for bath and beach. Bathroom was good size and we had 4 of us in a place that could comfortably handle six guests (3 bedrooms and 2 baths). So what took my love down to just a like? The property is only 2.5 years old. It is looking a bit more tired than that, surprisingly. Things broken around the building, the bartender and cook (same guy) not showing up for breakfast on multiple days, no one at the front desk (they say someone is there from 9-5). Asking where the gym was on day one and being shown to a totally unfinished concrete room on the 2nd floor. I am going to write this off to COVID and say not much was happening the last two years and given the number of resident owners, I would expect them to fix this as things improve. Would I return to San Jose del Cabo? Absolutely! Would I return to Soleado? A definite maybe.....This place is a gem that needs some polish.

They have a pool upstairs and a bartender. The view from the roof is a mound of dirt where someone is building a new hotel or something and on the other side you get to see a highway which has another hill or something next to it. The people who work here are very nice Unfortunately that was the best part of it. They are bilingual, which isn't an issue for me, but it may be for some. And they have a free breakfast like most Hampton Inns. The bad...We got a free trip. That's why we came here. This place isn't near anything except for a food court next door. we weren't near a beach. The promised beach was a bus ride away. The bartender wasn't available for a drink at 4:30 pm, she was supposed to be there until 6:30-7:00. The ugly...We got a free trip? Oh dear. We tried to walk to a store and along the high way because I didn't realize that it was an actual highway. There were others walking and on bikes too. It was miserably hot outside, even on the roof by the water. And the coldness of the rooms was such that I got a lung infection caused by supremely cold air. I couldn't use my C-PAP because it was so cold. Meaning that I spent my husband's birthday in the emergency room because I couldn't breathe without a lot of effort. I left with two inhalers. We couldn't turn the heat down in the room because the only options were very cold and off, which because too warm. Never again. This wasn't a free trip. It was a nightmare of an experience. I'm glad that it lasted only four days, a week would have been torture!
