If I could give ZERO stars I would They do not care about the residents.. all they care about is getting they're outrageous rent paid.. you would think for the amount they charge they would take better care of their residents.. my father was here after he had a stroke when my daughter was 2 months old.. my dad told me they were annoyed with him because he makes messes. They would call me if my dad fell, but they failed to notify me when he passed away... all I got was a voicemail from the coroners office.. and they said "as you know..." meaning I should have been notified first! Also my dad ALWAYS wore a silver ring.. when I picked up his belongings it wasn't in the bag and I received a statement from the mortuary that they picked him up with no jewelry so be careful they steal money and jewelry DO NOT HAVE YOUR LOVED ONES COME TO THIS INHUMANE DISGRACE OF A FACILITY

I came in today for a scheduled interview at 11:00 a.m. When I arrived, there was no one at the front desk to check me in or direct me. After waiting about 10 minutes, a receptionist finally came out. She was friendly, but unfortunately the rest of my experience was not. Another applicant and I were both waiting to be interviewed. When the interviewer finally came out, she called in the applicant who had arrived after me, even though my interview was scheduled for 11:00 a.m. No one acknowledged me, apologized for the delay, or gave me any indication of when I would be seen. After waiting for an hour, I decided to leave. This is actually the second time I've had a poor interview experience here. The first time, the person who was supposed to interview me never showed up at all. Between that experience and today's, the lack of professionalism and communication is disappointing. If this is how prospective employees are treated, it does not leave a good impression. I would not recommend wasting your time applying here until they improve their hiring process and show more respect for applicants' time.

So in addition to our complaint below, they have also lied and suggested that we threaten them and that they had some sort of Accu safety device on our person. Fortunately, we have a witness who was there during the entire event. None of those things happened. You are seriously warned. Do not go here. This is the summation from our IP letter and conversation... For the record, the day and evening nurses were amazing. In no way am I disparaging the front line workers who are doing their best in mediocre, if at times in certain spaces, deplorable conditions. This care center proved to be an utterly unsuitable and deeply concerning environment for patient care, directly jeopardizing the well-being of my partner. Critical medications, essential for maintaining his mental stability, were abruptly and inexplicably discontinued upon admission, leading to severe mental distress and disorientation. This negligence was a profound lack of oversight and disregard for patient safety protocols, setting the stage for a dangerous situation that could have been entirely avoided. Compounding these medical failures was a shocking display of administrative and case management incompetence. The facility's case manager provided false assurances regarding a thorough patient assessment, which simply did not occur, and later dismissed legitimate concerns from the caregiver. Despite explicit prior inquiries about facility security (during a tour in which the 10+ year admin assured them the facility was secure), the center admitted an at-risk patient to an unsecured environment and then actively refused to prevent him from wandering off the premises into a potentially hazardous situation. This deliberate misrepresentation and subsequent abandonment of responsibility are inexcusable. The culmination of these failures resulted in a terrifying emergency where our patient, unmedicated and disoriented, was able to walk into the street parking log, requiring immediate intervention from emergency services. Fortunately a friend was able to bypass the wandering and get him to remain in the parking lot. Due to the imminent threat to his safety we had him transported to the hospital, where the lack of medications was addressed around the shock of the case (hospital staff had choice words to say about the care facility and none of them were good). There is a severe disconnect between the facility's administration, case management, and nursing staff (WHO ARE AWESOME and doing their best despite the management), ultimately demonstrating a profound disregard for patient advocacy and safety. This care center not only failed to meet basic standards of care but actively endangered a patient under its supervision. The room was busted up, the floorboards warped, people were sleeping or disabled on floor mats, there was no Television in the assigned room and someone somewhere was yelling for assistance for over an hour. The room given had full trash cans, partially used items in the drawers, and the food given was contrary to the dietary requirements requested prior to admission. DO NOT GO HERE.

I visit her once a month (or so) and we have gone to the resident dining maybe twenty times. From the first time I was shocked by the quality of the food. My first time I was expecting an old-school cafeteria-style food service with metal trays and food slopped onto the plate. This was completely different. The food was shockingly good, and the meal of the day (lunch) always has a soup, a main meal and a dessert. It's not overly fancy but the food in actually really tasty and they give you good size portions. The staff are very attentive and polite and the experience is a very pleasant dining experience. Today we had garden vegetable soup along with pot roast, scalloped potatoes and peas, with apple pie for dessert. The pot roast was excellent and the potatoes were exceptional. You know the food is good when the head chef/manager of food service is there talking with residents to make sure she gets feedback concerning the food that she prepared. Currently the dining area in being remodeled and should be done by the end of this year. So, the dining area currently is less then amazing, and what they can offer is limited. I'm looking forward to the new dining experience once they have their grand opening later this year.

My mom has been at Lotus Villa Memory Care unit for about seven months. I have nothing but high…read moreregard and praise for the caregivers there. Becky, an administrator, saw that my mom was not doing well, called me that night and helped me put her on hospice care, which has helped her so much. The staff has been supportive and treat my mom with care since she is so frail. I'm there a few times a week and am able to observe the caregivers and cleaning staff. I know some staff by name and they always greet me with a smile and keep me updated on my mom's condition. They treat all the residents with care, even though they are sometimes verbally abused by the residents, yet they keep smiling and treat them kindly, which I'm sure is difficult at times. Her clothes are cleaned and put away on a weekly basis as well as her room which is cleaned frequently. I'm glad I chose Lotus Villa for my mom's long term care.

I searched and visited many facilities prior to me choosing Mountain View Center. I visited them a couple times and was able to meet the Owner, Coordinators, the caretakers, the cook, all the helpers I just knew that they stood out far beyond any others I went to. First thing that stood out was how immaculate everything was and it smelled so fresh and clean. This was very important for me if my mom going to live here. They gave me a tour of facility and the living quarters where my mom would stay. She has her own bedroom whom she shares with a wonderful roommate. They were very careful about matching mom's roommate, so they carefully introduced my mom to a few ladies and we found the perfect one. My mom has been her for 3 years and she loves it. They even have a program where a bus picks up the residents that are able, to have fun filled days dancing, singing, doing crafts, then the bus brings them back. They are very involved with many onsite activities. They have lots of parties, holiday parties too, they bring in musicians/bands so they can dance and enjoy, bbqs, dress up..etc. I just had to share my experience with anyone looking for a place for mom or dad. Dementia again has impacted our family, my dear Auntie is suffering with this horrible disease now. I'm so grateful for Mountain View because I know my mom is, safe, well fed, well taken care of with bathing, clean clothes, clean room and bed. Thank you Mountain View

I am not a disgruntled employee and won't be discredited by the owner of this facility. 1) This facility is an absolute death trap. You do not send your family member here to live and thrive you send them here to suffer andie. This facilities owner only cares about the financial bottom line and does not provide the care promised when you drop off your loved one 2) residents are routinely neglected and their personal hygiene is non existent ! They are not groomed daily, have their teeth brushed daily or bathed daily. Although they claim they are ! 3) the staff here has a true heart for the residents. They truly try to give the best care to them but when the owner and management does NOT provide the appropriate tools and necessities needed to provide the care expected even the best intentions fall short. 4) the building is old, dirty and unkempt. Mold, feces, bed bugs and trash riddles the floors of this facility. 5) the management and owner keep the truth from both authorities and families here. They give the run around for any question you might have of your loved ones and of any reports of negligence, abuse or violence in the facility. The caretaker who noticed the situation never came back to clean or change her. My grandma was in tears telling me this. No one in your care should ever be ignored or left in that condition. She didn't give me the caretaker's name, I don't know exactly who it was but that caretaker needs to do her job properly or find another place to work, because this kind of neglect is disgusting and should never happen again.
