I've been a repeat customer here before, and I've got to say, the food here is quite exceptional. One of the main staples of any good Tex-Mex restaurant or Mexican restaurants is the free chips and salsa, and Cadillac Bar definitely had this. I definitely recommend getting any meal off of the dinner menu. The meals are quite large and definitely filling. They always come with a side of beans (barracho or refried) and a side of rice. The beef nachos are among one of the better choices for the nachos. I will definitely come back for more! read more

I'm a Select Card holder. I order through the Cadillac Bar web and my wife picked up the food at the restaurant (spent $70+). We didn't get points so I followed up via email to customer service. They said I can get points because it was a 3rd party service -- through their website. There is no warning that you won't get points. I guess you have to call in your order if you want points. Too bad they don't mention this when you're using their website ordered service. read more

I got this fish with prawns. The fish was incredible. But unfortunately I had been eating a TON that weekend and I had some queso before the main course so I was super full when this came out. I felt kind of bad because I had about half the dish left before the waiter came and took it away. At the end, they bring up this big tray of desserts which looks amazing and I would've tried a ton of stuff on it unfortunately I ended up getting nothing because of how full I was. I totally understand everyone is doing their best! But we walked in for Saturday night and there was no hosts or anyone to greet us! The bar tender had to seat us which should've been our first sign! And then we sat there and you could tell the waiters were in the back debating who was going to help us! So finally our waiter came over and he was our saving grace! Happy Hour and Sunday Brunch are my sweet treats to myself. Margaritas are so good Strawberry and Sangria are my go to and they are only $3.50 during happy hour. The bar food is also a great price for happy hour special too! The only bad part is they need to order more bar stools as its rarely any where to sit due to broken chairs that have yet to be replaced and i've had to eat standing up or sharing a seat with 2 friends. Sundays come prepared for a feast! The food is BEYOND Good and you have a great selection of food to choose from! The waiting staff is very welcoming and on point with service! The precautions for Covid 19 are very important to me and Cadillac Bar never disappoints. Staff is consistently cleaning and sanitizing, I feel very safe at my favorite restraunts. Manager Jowell and Darren are always there when I am, and always make me feel like family. My favorite thing to eat is the amazing fajitas! Way better than Cyclone and Lupe! Bartenders always keep my drinks ice cold, and Britney and Jimmy have my drinks ready within 20 seconds of me walking in the bar. This is the only Landry's restraunt I visit. We had cheese enchiladas that did not taste right, fish tacos that were mehhh, tacos al carbon that was average, and the only thing good about the fish tacos was the actual fish. We made reservations for a group of 20 yesterday. We get there and no reservations were to be found. We had the name of the person we spoke with over the phone. A gentleman (maybe the manager) came speak to us after we waited for about 25 minutes and explained, that the lady that took the reservation didn't write it down. So, there was no that they could do. They didn't try to accommodate us. They didn't apologize. This would have been my first time here. Unfortunately, I will never eat at this restaurant. Enchiladas were good. Beans were bland. Margarita was good. Service was ok. I came with a friend. We both have Landry's select club cards. We asked the manager to use both our cards. He said he could only use one card per check and walked away. We dine at Landry's restaurants all the time and ask for separate checks so we can both get points. The manager did not know this? If the service had been just ok the review would be five stars. Took my daughter and her family there after she ran her first marathon. None of them had been there before. We waited for a table, seeing many empty. We waited for chips and salsa after being seated. We waited for waitress who told us we waited because she was doubling as bartender. Went in for dinner tonight and had a terrible experience. Had a party of 3 and didn't even get greeted for a while once we got sat, also our table had food bits already on the table. They gave me a dirty glass for my drink after i already let them know my sprite was just carbonated water, but by then I didn't want to be a nuisance. How is it that I only recently discovered Cadillac Bar's magnificent Sunday brunch? Shame on me! For only 17 bucks, you're let loose on several tables of freshly cooked food... just a sample of what I remember seeing: -Build-Your-Own French Toast/Waffle/Pancake bar -scrambled eggs, migas, hash browns, biscuits and gravy -fresh fruit -Build-Your-Own Omlet bar -chick and beef fajita with all the trimmings to make a delicious taco or gordita -enchiladas, empanadas, quesadillas -chips and dip -a huge dessert table! -and of course, my favorite, piles of crispy BACON! Drinks were fairly cheap, too. Only $3.50 for mimosas, Ritas and Bloody Marys, which you customize yourself! I only wish they had bottomless mimosas. :( Can't win 'em all! One important thing to mention - Sunday Brunch is from 10:30am to 3pm... go early to avoid the crowds! My eyes were definitely bigger than my stomach but I got my money's worth... I went home satisfied and full! I am definitely coming back next month with family in tow for my Birthday brunch! read more

You're in a room surrounded by Mexican food. A long row of enchiladas, bubbling in their pans, line the table to your left. Behind you a counter overflows with deserts and fruits, and jars of agua fresca. Next to that is a table of American breakfast food, eggs bennys, Florentine bennys, scrambled eggs, bacon, etc...and also chilequiles, chorizo and egg. There are pasta dishes and chips and queso. A table next to every type of enchilada is covered with pancakes, waffles, bread pudding, and a huge dish of fresh whipped cream, caramelized bananas, and walnuts. Kill me now. And it all smells delicious. But you haven't even gotten to the best, the scent of which has been wafting to you since arrival.....the taco table. Round grill stones of meats, sizzling in front of you. Tacos al pastor, with grilled pineapples, al carbon, carnitas, chicken, beef, and more...all hot and ready to go on your tortillas. And toppings like onion, cilantro, cheese, quac, sour cream. No, this isn't a fat kid dream. ..though I would wake up happy from it. This is the Sunday brunch buffet at Cadillac Bar. I believe the price is always lower than we expected. ...maybe $16 or $18. Do not plan on doing much of anything after, other than digest and reflect on the awesome meal you just had. Atmosphere is casual. There is usually a wait if you're there later, and there's more emphasis on eating than drinking, so it's not as much of a "let's order another pitcher of mimosas and hang out for hours" place. I would've given 5 stars for sure if it were more like that...or if had cheaper drinks/bottomless mimosas. They do have a fun bloody mary bar, and a variety of drink options, but the drink menu just has resonated with me yet. The food is neccessarily the most ridiculously awesome, on it's own, but the sheer volume of options, and my love for buffets, evens it out. Honestly though, it's more of a 4.7 star review, and I may have to readjust my rating after my next visit. If you've never gone....go. and you're welcome/i'm sorry (for your overeating) in advance. DO NOT HAVE AN EVENT HERE. We reserved their back room for a class reunion recently, and it was maybe the worst overall customer experience I've ever encountered. From the start, our entire group was treated not as customers or patrons, but rather as annoyances. The employees just don't give a %^^+. But I'll focus this review on more tangible things: First, the manager had hounded us for weeks about a final number, even well before the deadline that they gave us. And I mean HOUNDED. Then we arrive on event night and need a little change for the door. Ticket price was $35, so we needed some fives. After trying both bars and speaking to a manager, we're told that they don't have any fives anywhere in the building. OK, not that big of a deal (making change was not part of our agreement), but they were pretty rude about it. Then they tell us they won't be serving Dos XX for us that night because "they're out". And they ran out on Negro Modelo less than five minutes into the event. Seriously?? This is a Tex-Mex restaurant, right? Saturday night? Unreal. On to the food. Beef fajitas were pretty good, but the chicken was bland. The beef ran out because nobody would touch the chicken, but no refill of course. And even though the chicken was rubbery, we pre-paid so of course we want to take the leftovers home, right? Nope, they came through and took everything away before we could even notice and react. Probably 5 or 6 lbs of chicken that we had already bought. Thanks for that. After I called them on it they offered to make us up a pound to take home and treated it like a huge inconvenience. We had the room reserved until 11, but at 10:15 they crank the lights up and start encouraging us to leave. Nice touch, guys. Oh, and one of the employees stole my wife's iPhone as we're packing up. We even know who it is and where they live (thanks to Find my iPhone). When we took it to the restaurant manager, he just denied denied denied and totally refused to even look into it. A pair of Ray-Bans also went mysteriously "missing" that night. Bottom line, they don't stock their bar, they treat customers like dirt, and they might steal your stuff. We only go for the Sunday Brunch and we keep coming back! There is food galore so hope you bring your appetite. Some of my favorites there are the pupusas, tamales, menudo (although today it was a bit on the watery side) and omelette station. They also have fresh watermelon and pineapple water, and if your in the mood for a Bloody Mary you can have fun at the Bloody Mary station dressing up your own drink! I could write a 2 star review of cadillac bar's usual menu-- and all the locations seem to have the same issues--the incredibly consistent Landry's terrible service, the salsa is not flavored with anything strong enough to cover up the black pepper, the overpriced limited menu.. However!! The Sunday (and now saturday) brunch buffet is f#$%ing AMAZING!! Though, kids up to 12 are 7.99 and grownups 16.99--so it can get expensive. Next time I'll leave the one-platers at grandmas=) We waited "20 minutes" and there was still a wait when we left-- but it is for good reason.. My favorite thing about this place is that I can "cook" my own food-like having my own prep cooks. I made some outrageously wonderful breakfast tacos with ingredients like- -fresh corn or flour tortillas--or crunchy shells -eggs, bacon, hashbrowns,migas -cheese, sour cream, real guacamole, pico de gallo -steak, chicken and pork fajitas -fresh jalapenos, small diced ripe tomatoes, fresh cilantro, onions, sauteed red and poblano peppers, and again- guacamole (high dollar item lately im sure youve noticed) -beans& rice (didn't try them) - i liked the green salsa on them, once you add jalapenos it it s spicy enough--but while my husband liked the red salsa, I wouldn't recommend wasting any stomach space with it. Today they had-- -tortilla soup -eggs benedict (very thin if any hollandaise so I skipped it) -3 enchiladas (suiza, cheese, and spinach) (tried the spinach ..um, not recommended...very lean cuisine tasting) -mediocre quesadillas (but you could add...) -very good crunchy beef empanadas (when added to) -scrambled eggs cooked in butter-- oh how I hate margarine sauced eggs--and of course omelets or any style eggs -biscuits and gravy and kielbasa style sausage - a huge fruit table that I plan on hitting hard um, next time when I'm being a good dieter..with strawberries, pineapple (fresh), honeydew and canteloupe (which someone had taken the time to ripen) and canned peaches. I did have some strawberries..with whipped cream, though=) The waffle/pancake/french toast/ crepe station had a display of toppings- cooked fruit topping (like blueberry, strawberry etc) chocolate chips (that melt easily on a hot waffle) real whipped cream real caramel sauce (needs squeze bottles though..) pecans marachino cherries warm caramel bananas butter & warm syrup Next time, I think I'll ask the crepe lady for some empty crepes and make my own from the savory stuff... Or maybe I'll make a big healthy salad and a feast of fresh fruit.(or maybe I'll talk my way into the door with that sentiment and gorge on crispy bacon/chicken fajitas) I never got to the dessert table, but my family reported the chocolate cake was very, very good. They also had ice cream and cheesecake, that I saw. How did I skip this you ask? Well, it was in a separate room and it was very crowded in there...so crowded and awkward that it would have been a star off if it weren't so good--you'll see. Cadillac Bar's Sunday brunch seems pricey at around $16, but when I consider the sheer amount of selection available, I always find it to be worth the money. Brunch is served on Sundays from 10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., behind the restaurant proper in the banquet room off Nolda St. The space is huge, and round tables are set up to seat several people. It's a little odd to sit at such a big table when you're a party of two, but if you just top your table with dishes of food, you'll completely forget about it. The buffet has four main sections: traditional brunch, Tex-Mex, cook-to-order stations and dessert. On the traditional brunch steam table, you can count on eggs scrambled with ham and bell peppers, bacon, sausage, eggs benedict, cheese blintzes and a large fruit spread. They also have a very respectable French toast that they've recently added. Add to this cooked-to-order omelets and waffles, and you've got your standard brunch spread, but it doesn't stop there. The Tex-Mex steam trays typically include two kinds of enchiladas, flautas, chilaquiles, chicken and beef fajitas, a fish entree, and all the usual fixins - Spanish rice, refried beans, crispy taco shells, queso, sour cream, guacamole, pico de gallo and shredded cheese. On one occasion they had a green chile pork stew, and I would trade my husband's right arm for them to offer it on the standing brunch menu. It was really delicious. There is also a cook-to-order station for gorditas and quesadillas, as well as a giant pot of steaming tamales, in case you couldn't find anything else you wanted to eat. Finally, there is a table of desserts that includes chocolate cake, flan, tres leches and sopapillas. All of the desserts are pretty average, so I almost never partake in any of them, preferring instead to finish my meal with half a waffle topped with sugared pecans and a little maple syrup. I haven't been to Cadillac Bar for anything other than brunch in a long time, so I can't comment on their regular service. I remember the food being average for Tex-Mex, and given that it's a part of the Landry's chain, it's probably still pretty average. Brunch seekers, however, will find a wonderland of offerings, and I'd recommend you arrive early to beat the crowds. read more

I stopped here on my way home from IKEA after remembering they had pretty good veggie Tex-Mex options. First off, the service is fantastic. Second, the restaurant is surprisingly cute and kind of artsy on the inside (I really like their light fixtures). Third, the food delivers. Two words: Vegetable Fajitas. I was blown away by how delicious (and plentiful) the grilled veggies were (corn, mushrooms, squash, onions, zucchini, and carrots...oh my!). There was more than enough to share, but I REALLY didn't want to. Of course I made sure to pack up the rest for leftovers, and OF COURSE I forgot them at the restaurant...bummer. If I could give them 0 stars I would. Hadn't been here in awhile and was craving the Cancun Enchiladas only to find out they didn't serve them anymore, but no worries... we would get something else. Took 15 minutes to get chips and menus. Ordered ice tea and a mojito. After another 10 minutes the drink came. It looked as if someone had plucked mint straight from the ground and put in the drink. Not sure what was in it but did NOT taste like a mojito by ANY stretch of the imagination. Determined we were NOT staying and asked for the check before even ordering. Waiter didn't ask why and seemed unconcerned. Paid for our "drinks" but will NEVER return and will NOT recommend to ANYONE we know! My wife had her 10 year reunion here and multiple people, including me, had drinks run up on our tabs. Not just a few either, we had over 20 drinks that we weren't even ordering on our tab. The manager on duty treated all of us like we were in the wrong and there was no way her bar tenders could have made a mistake. She actually attempted to get the sheriff on duty to ticket us for refusing to sign our tab. He wasn't impressed with managements customer service either. Bottom line this place does not care about their customers and management is horrible. If you want bad service and to be ripped off, this is your place! read more
