It is like if Hard Rock Cafe and Cowboy Jacks had a baby, it would be Cadillac Ranch. Rock portraits adorn the walls but you get a nice Western feel (probably from the Riding Bull) while in the place. The ambiance is tied together by a never ending reel of 90s and early 00s music videos that bring back so many memories. The food is a mix of Americana. Burgers, sandwiches, pastas, steaks, etc. We tried the Walleye Sandwich and the Pasta Carbonara. My sandwich was good, it hit the spot from what I wanted from a fried fish sandwich. The fillet was a little small but I kinda expected that since it was Walleye. Hard to find a good Walleye fillet in the Twin Cities. My wife enjoyed her pasta, it had a bunch of bacon and a good alfredo sauce. The stand out here was the service though. I didn't time them which I wish I had because we got our meals in under 8 minutes. It was crazy fast. Super freaky fast. I almost felt like we had gone to a fast food place to eat because it was that fast. What is terrible is that I have been to fast food places that were SLOWER than this place. So kudos, CR, you guys can whip out some pretty tasty meals. After a fun filled day on rides and shopping, the group decided to try a sit down restaurant. The Cadillac Ranch was a great dinner decision. We were seated right away, and our waitress was ready to get our drink orders as well as answer any questions from the menu. She had so many good recommendations, and it made it difficult to choose our entrees. Ended up with ordering salmon, burgers, and a kids chicken. All the meals were cooked properly, delicious, and the portion size was plenty. As a tip, try the house merlot as it is smooth and worth the money. What was the best part of our meal was the timing. Sometimes when go to a "mall restaurant" it seems like they are really slow, but Cadillac Ranch had a good rhythm to their experience. I always appreciate that aspect when dining. I came here for lunch after a day of shopping at MOA. The service I thought was fairly slow for it not being busy at all. The bartender was our server and I think he might have been one of only 2 they had on the floor. The table next to us I heard asked for their check 2 different times before he actually brought it. He was kind just not very attentive. After a bit he finally came to take our order. I got the Ahi tuna appetizer which I thought was the best thing I ate. Though I thought it was very overpriced being an appetizer. I think it may have been $14 or $15. I also ordered the Asian chicken salad without the crispy stuff and the peanut dressing. I thought that the chicken was super weird tasting. But the sesame dressing was pretty good. My little girl I nanny had some kind of chicken sandwich and fries. She said the sandwich was pretty good. I've been to the Cadillac Ranch many times, but the main reason for this review is to compliment the service we received from Steven. We were seated in the bar area for lunch, and I'm so glad we were served by Steven. He was friendly, attentive, and efficient. Steven is everything I think about as a company's 'brand ambassador'. In MN for annual work trip, we came in with 20 minutes of HH left to spare and our server (I think it was Jorge) made sure we were well taken care of. We started off with several appetizers: loaded fries, soft pretzels, and spinach and artichoke dip with flatbread. Everything was quite good, especially the soft pretzels with their tasty mustards. For dinner, I ordered the Walleye Fried Fish Sandwich. It was so good! a Native of Lake Ontario, I'm a huge fried haddock fish and chips fan, but Walleye, a specialty of MN, is very similar in taste and delicious. My coworkers ordered the Grilled Walleye Fish Tacos and the Smokehouse Chicken Sandwich, opting for tater tots over french fries. Everything looked tasty and they said it was. HH options for drinks are fantastic. We were well fed when we left and agreed we need to return next year. I'll need to check out my local CR in MD to see if service is as good. read more

He has a personality and there seems to be many regulars that they know each other by name. My entire experience here was good. I stopped because I was looking for smaller options for lunch. They had a list of $9.99 lunch specials. I saw the mushrooms and asparagus Alfredo pasta with a wedge salad. The Alfredo sauce was so creamy. The bread they gave me to dunk was perfect. So good. I like soups too. I see that they make a certain flavor of soup each day of the week. I want to try the tomato soup. I will definitely be back to try more. You will find me at the bar. Short wait times, friendly and quick service, if you like 80's rock/metal you'd like it here, Iron Maiden/Dio etc. playing on their speakers and corresponding music videos on the tv's. Went to the Cadillac Ranch during a trip to the Mall of America. The place looked amazing and I didn't feel that I needed to check the Yelp reviews against my better judgment. It was myself and two friends. We arrived in time for Happy Hour. It started off great we had a great waitress that was very attentive. The atmosphere was also great. There were a lot of cool pictures. We ordered a appetizer of fried pickles and drinks. The waitress came back to inform us that they were out of the fried pickles. This was upsetting because I had my heart set on them. We instead settled for the cheese curds, which were outstanding. Seems like a fair trade off. We then ordered our food. My friend ordered the Juicy Lucy. The waitress then told us they were out of them. So he settled for for a chicken sandwich. I would say that my friend is quite the connoisseur when it comes to chicken sandwiches. Our waitress was perfect and the food came out fast. I thought my fish tacos were ok, nothing spectacular, but filling. My friend disliked the chicken sandwich. It was tough and dry. It did have a good flavor. It seems like the chicken was cooked earlier in the day and reheated to serve. Overall I would give the spot a 3. I'm shaking my head at this point. On the 4th try they finally had a hard cider. Made me wonder what kind of ordering system they used if this was only for beverages?! Our food orders were all pretty good, ma & pa both opted for Reubens while I did their half soup/half pasta lunch special. The mac & cheese I ordered was a bit runny. I prefer cheesy. Finally, I show the server my yelp discount & she walks away with my phone to get her manager to enter it. (I honestly didn't care that she took it but I have a pretty old phone that isn't worth much, but for all those XR owners, beware.) Here's my final issue. It took almost 10 minutes and two different terminals to get them to remove $5. Much more difficult than I would've thought. We were seated in a spacious booth with absolutely no wait. Our server was friendly and prompt, greeting us immediately, taking our orders at the right time and brought both the food and check in good order. The food was ok. I ordered Shrimp & Crab Pasta $20.29. Sautéed shrimp and asparagus tossed with our lobster cream sauce and topped with a lump crab and Parmesan crust. Served with a Parmesan breadstick. I know, I know, I know that I've just listed the blandest entree on the block. Mild shrimp, mild crab, mild lobster cream sauce and pasta with a tasteless breadstick. And yet my mind gets suckered every time I read shrimp and crab and lobster and I jump. So it's my own fault for ordering a bland dish and then thinking the food here is bland. It was good. But bland. I should have gone for the Cajun Pasta, that was my second choice. Maybe I'll learn next time ;) My ease in getting immediately seated, quick service and friendly server were pluses enough that if my work brings me to MOA again, I'd likely stop in to try something else on the menu. read more
