I met up with a few friends and we wanted to try something new. Didn't know what to expect coming here, but when we walked in, we were met with a huge dining hall with a few customers enjoying their meals. There was a big bull that people could ride which was fun to look at. The lighting was also pretty dim but added to the experience. We ordered cheese curds and a few burgers. We all agreed that the curds tasted great but mixed feelings on the burgers. I personally thought it was under seasoned and just seemed a bit bland. One of my friends really liked theirs while another friend said it was just okay. We also got some cocktails which were great. I'm not sure if I caught them on an off day but I think this could be a place I'd check out again if I was around the area.

Fish tacos- it comes with avocado on it, I just removed it- these are delicious!

Updated review! I have continued coming here over the years and always have a good experience! The vibes are fun, the food is tasty, and the service is typically pretty good. On today's visit, we were not greeted by the host. In fact she looked pissed to be there. I interacted with her a second time to get another kids menu and she seemed super annoyed, wouldn't make eye contact and didn't smile. Definitely not the kind of person you want greeting people into your restaurant... The vibes in here are always good! Lots of tvs, the music is good and they have a bull you can ride! Our server was sweet. It was a very busy Saturday, so it did take her a second to get our drinks refilled but I also understand it was busy. She was friendly and did make sure our order was correct. The food! I got the fish tacos and 1/2lb of chicken wings (4 wings). The fish tacos are one of my faves. Just good flavors and textures! I got a smaller order of wings because I got the tacos too but I believe they go up to 2lbs. Their buffalo is delicious! Good heat but not too crazy! Minnesota approved! My boys enjoyed the grilled cheese and fries. Large kids portions, so my 9 and 5 year old share. I forgot they have a weird assortment of fries... I wish they would pick one and stick to it. Overall this remains our favorite place to eat at the mall!

We dropped in here for something to eat while we were doing last minute Christmas shopping. There was plenty of seating and our service was good. We started with the nachos which we all enjoyed. My son asked for his burger mid-rare and it was definitely a little too rare. My husband's steak tacos were good but I wasn't super impressed with my shrimp tacos. There were lots of games on and you could watch them easily from our seats. Some younger guys tried riding the mechanical Bull which was entertaining. The bathrooms were clean and so was the restaurant.

We went here for brunch, but then realized there was no brunch - only lunch lol. The food was still good and we had a great server. Everyone enjoyed their food! The shrimp tacos arent spicy lol.

Fun place for drinks and lunch! To the chagrin of my fiancé, we were at the Mall of America while visiting MN. I decided to try and make him smile by finding a good place in the mall for lunch...and tada! we found CR. It has a riding bull in the center of the restaurant, and the hostess said she held the record of 38 seconds on the fastest setting!! Impressive! We decided to skip the bull and go straight to booze and food. I had the fish tacos, which were perfect. Four tacos! Grilled and blackened fish, crunchy cabbage, a bit of spicy jalapeño, and salsa on the side. My fiancé had a giant plate of BBQ wings with a salad (trying to be healthier?) and my son had a Nashville, hot chicken sandwich. Everyone was super happy with the food. For drinks, I had the watermelon margarita and my son had the Orange old fashioned. Both were delicious. My fiancé kept up his guise of health consciousness and ordered water with lemon. lol This place was a do-over, even if it is in the mall. Service was wonderful and friendly. Thank you!

Everyone was so kind and the vibe was so very Minnesota. We were stopping in from Texas and needed a nice cheese curd fix before hitting the airport and ended up finding a piece of home. The food was hot, delicious, and reasonable for beef prices in the area. We especially enjoyed the kick in the boom boom sauce.

Ana O was the best server I have ever had in my life, she was so sweet and welcoming. She did such a great job serving and making us laugh , we love her attitude and we definitely will be coming back in hopes she is our waitress

We visited here for the first time on Christmas Eve. The staff was really friendly and welcoming. The decor was also rich and warm. There weren't many people in the restaurant and we did have to wait a length of time for our food to come out. The problem for us was the cost. We odered 2 beers, 2 shots of Jack and 2 taco orders. Nothing came with the small size street type tacos. Our bill came to over $75! Shots for $10.50 each seems steep. The tacos were good. Nothing special. Not worth retun to for us.

Katie is the bomb.com! My boyfriend and I came here for a kid free get-a-way weekend and we went to multiple restaurants and she's the first to make us feel at home. Best bartender in minneapolis so far. We will be back to hangout with her. Love you Katie !

Stopped in for a happy hour with my husband. We each had a local beer; I'm stuck on the Surly Furious IPA. Delicious. We also split the cheese queso. It was ok.

I've been to CR a few times in the past but many years between visits. Went recently for HH and they had pretty decent offerings. I went during the week and the mall wasn't as busy as I thought it would be despite it being right before the holidays & winter break. The restaurant was pretty chill. I like the rock-n-roll theme. We ordered from the HH menu, supreme pizza (my mom), chicken tacos, fried pickles & drinks, the Rock-n-Roll Kool Aid & Georgia Peach Crush. My mom enjoyed the pizza, she said she really liked the crispiness of the pepperoni. The tacos were different. More of a wrap vibe. It was tortilla filled with coleslaw, shredded chicken topped with cheese and an avocado slice & a side of sauce/salsa. They were okay but probably wouldn't order them again. For the HH price they do give out generous portions. The Georgia Peach Crush was better tasting than the Kool aid drink but overall they were both just okay. Our waitress was also the bartender. She was nice & attentive. They offer mechanical bull rides for $1, we did not partake but if that's your thing go for it.

My tickets were for 8, but I didn't get to go in until 9 because the line was slow. We did get to see two showings of an aerialist in line, which did help make it a bit more bearable. However, you figure out that the line is so slow because they do a good job of keeping each group small and spaced out, allowing you to enjoy the haunted house at your own pace. The house was actually a well decorated maze, so it was a puzzle trying to figure out where to go. The actors cannot touch you, but there was a good amount of jump scares. We ended up taking 20-25 minutes to go through the maze. There were also a couple photo opportunities inside. We exited into a gift shop and went to the bar which had a drag show (i think this was a special and isn't a regular occurrence, so it was a nice surprise). i also love that there were lots of photo ops outside. I didn't pay for my tickets and $40 sounds a little steep but it was fun, and I'm seeing some discounts available for specific dates and MEA weekend, so I would say it's worth it if you find a discount day!

First off, going through the hidden Coke machine entrance is actually really fun and makes the whole place feel like a little adventure. The decor and speakeasy atmosphere are definitely the standout. Very cool space. VERY loud though. Like "lean across the table and say WHAT?" loud at times. The waitress was super nice and recommended a mocktail for me that called Ass in the Sand. It ended up being really good. It tasted like an elevated lemonade and was probably one of my favorite parts of the meal. Started with the rolls and whipped honey butter which were delicious. Very soft, warm, and honestly dangerous because I could've just kept eating bread all night. For the main meal, I did the Wagyu Burger with Parmesan fries. The burger itself was okay but surprisingly didn't have a ton of flavor outside of the grilled/charred taste. The Parmesan fries were actually the standout for me -- hand cut fries and parmesan fries are just hard to mess up. My partner tried the Mushroom Soup en Croute and wasn't a fan because the mushrooms were blended and he said it lacked flavor. He also had a Steak Taco special using their medallion steak and said even with lime it still needed more flavor. Finished with Crème Brûlée which is always a classic favorite for me and this one was good. Overall: fun experience, cool hidden entrance, great decor, good mocktail and bread, but the actual food menu is pretty limited and the flavors didn't totally wow me for the price. Glad I went and finally crossed it off my list, but probably a one-and-done visit for me.

My first thought was holy bottles! There's tons and tons of bottles up and down the walls. The space is also smaller than expected, but we went in at 3PM as a party of 4 on a Sunday and had no problem getting seated. I ordered the Lost Footage and it was delicious (and strong!!). It came in a flask inside of a VHS case which was fun. I then got to pour it into my glass. Other members of my group got The Red Wedding, Pity Party, and To Your Health. My spouse and I shared the strip steak and the wedge salad, which we enjoyed. I would like to see some more food options in the future, especially since I'm already pretty limited due to a gluten allergy. However, I am excited to come back.

I stopped by for dinner on a Tuesday and it was pleasantly busy. My server Addison was right there to answer questions about the menu. I (of course) ordered the Reuben and three sides. I expected the sides to be small and I was surprised at how large they were. And they all were outstanding. The onion rings were large, thick, and crispy. A side order has about a dozen rings. The crock of mac & cheese has a delightful kick and when I asked Addison about it she said they make it with their queso. The bowl of Cowboy beans also has a kick and a nice smokiness. While I was eating, both managers - Amy and Jeff - stopped by to see how I was enjoying my meal, which was nice. Finally, the Reuben. I was pleased to see the corned beef was shredded but unfortunately it was very dry and tough. I wanted to cut one half into two pieces but I couldn't with my table knife. The flavor was good, the marble rye nicely grilled. It could have used a LOT more sauerkraut because the meat:kraut ratio was meat heavy.
