Stale, hard, dry, old cookies; old dry cake with some white dried-up stuff called "cream"; the oil/butter which the cake was made with had gone rancid; the nuts were bitter (rancid); and the Napoleon's flakey pieces of pastry, was not only stale but soggy.. gross! Update - I received a call today from the owner. She was very nice and wanted to understand what went wrong. She has definitely made up for my bad experience and I will give them another try. Not sure where my first review disappeared to.... Super disappointed in the food and customer service. Their mini cannolis were good. But everything else I ordered was mediocre at best. I had ordered mini napoleons. I got home to find out they had not been iced on the top layer. It was just a sheet of pastry on top. The small fruit tarts were also bad. The shells were almost an inch thick so there was only a tiny amount of filling. They were overcooked and with the thickness of the shell they were very difficult to eat. And the fruit? A small piece of canned pineapple, a small piece of orange with the peel still on, 1/2 a strawberry with the green tip attached and a small slice of kiwi. The croissants were a disappointment as were the assorted cookies. They baklava rolls that were yummy when I sampled them to place my order, were not crispy at all. I spent $65 and the only thing that was really good was the cannolis. Complained about the napoleans and all I got was sorry. No offer to do anything to rectify they situation.
