(bread and cake was not fresh at all) It's a long weekend looks like business is a little busy, but their cake slice (blueberry chiffon) is not fresh again. I ate 2 hrs after I blught and tasted just at the border of turning bad (cream has been solidified, and cake itself I feel wet outside dry inside). I throw it away after. The other locations are much better quality than this location. Paris Baguette is one of my top 3 favorite bakeries of all time. I prefer this location in Chino Hills even more than other locations I've visited. Some of my favorite pastries here are strawberry croissant, pastry frank, and walnut cream bread. I've also had many of their other pastries, which are always delightful to eat. The textures and flavors of everything are spot on. For cakes, I believe the strawberry soft cream cake is one of the best cakes you can find. The cream is soft & light and does not taste overly sweet, which is perfect for me. My wonderful husband bought me this whole cake for my last birthday. Candles can be provided at no additional cost. If you don't want a whole cake, thankfully this place offers roll cakes, in addition to many of their whole cakes available as cake slices. I just tried the rainbow cake recently, which tasted pretty good and also felt light. Each of the six layers had different fruity undertones. One thing that really surprised me from here is the iced matcha latte. I was impressed by the quality of the matcha and smoothness of the latte. The baguettes sucked. They were more like a ciabatta bread. I read their ingredients, and they use unbleached enriched flour for their baguettes? What happened to using the best ingredients? And the baguettes are $4. So we also bought "chocolate croissants" and the kids threw them away after 1 bite. We did also purchase chocolate cream puffs, those were good. Very bland to say the least. The new buffalo chicken & ranch pizette was a good size for the price and tasted flavorful. I wish it was a little more spicy, but it had a good crisp. This place is so cute! I ordered a cake from behind the glass. The only thing I didn't like were the fruit flies in the sliding doors where you can get other pastries. Some were sitting on top of the desserts with the fruits on them. There were also fruit flies sitting on top of the water where they keep their salads and sandwiches. A lot of their pastries are not in wrappers like they are at 85 degree bakery so it was easy for the little flies to get in, so I stayed away from that area.
