Fresh baked loaves of sweet and savory breads
    J B.

A friend introduced me to this fantastic business a few years ago and I've been in a couple of times since. I always wonder why I don't come in more often. They are open 6am to 6pm, their display cases and available baked goods, especially their breads, are top notch. I'm a sucker for the bread and they often have several varieties available. I try not to buy their sweets and other baked goods to keep my weight manageable, but can't always resist because they all look so good. Their sandwiches are made with fresh quality ingredients, are made to order and are fantastic. Great customer service and an open seating area. If this bakery were close to home rather than my work I would be stopping in weekly.

Dining area - nice and clean!

A store down in Orange sells the bread from this business, but it's always a little old, so it doesn't last as long as I'd like. I happened to be out in Rancho Cucamonga, found the store, and dropped in. They bake some of the BEST bread in Southern California! And it lasts far longer when you pick it up FRESH!. I grabbed a loaf of their Gilroy Garlic Sourdough and their classic sourdough and am absolutely THRILLED with both of them! Since I was there, I figured I'd order a BYO sandwich. I used their order form to get a turkey/ham/roast beef with provolone and pepper jack, and a bunch of toppings that included lettuce, tomato, onion, bell peppers, pickles, pepperoncini, and slathered by mustard and mayo. It was a an incredible sandwich and everything was piled HIGH! Of course, since it was custom built for me, I had to wait a bit. Which led to additional purchases of white chocolate macadamia nut cookies and a half-dozen snickerdoodles. All of them were baked in house. None of them managed to survive the trip back home. They were THAT good. The crew was friendly and - after I told them this was my first time at the store, they helped me make the best choices. The store was nice and clean, everything I tasted was great. I will make the looooooong journey up here again!

I recently visited Old Town Baking Company and had a really nice experience overall. I ordered a turkey sandwich with veggies, turkey, and provolone cheese on squaw bread, along with a bag of chips. The sandwich was fresh and flavorful--I ended up eating half and saving the rest for later, along with half of my chips. The customer service really stood out. Everyone there was super nice, welcoming, and made the whole experience feel comfortable. They also have a great selection of bakery items--cookies, breads, muffins, and more. The space itself is simple but really nice, with a clean and relaxed atmosphere. It's definitely the kind of place you can sit and enjoy your food. A couple small suggestions: The squaw bread was good, but it breaks pretty easily. I'd recommend getting wetter ingredients (like tomatoes) on the side so the sandwich holds together better. The napkins could be a little stronger--I had to use quite a few of them. Other than that, everything was great. I would definitely go back!

I absolutely love Old Town Baking! I feel like it's a secret treasure for breakfast and lunch. If you don't know they serve breakfast, and lunch sandwiches, then you have been asleep. Get down there and try these at once. All you have to do is fill out the little form of what you would like on your sandwich, and what bread you would like it on, and you're all set. If you don't want to take it to go, they have a very nice seating area just on the side, where you can relax, and enjoy your amazing sandwich. All the staff there are super friendly, and always willing to help you out.

Lemon Square - so delightful!! They have items available at Olive's Market in San Dimas.

Old Town Baking Co stocks one of my fave local markets - Olive's in San Dimas- with their lovely baked treats! On my last visit I grabbed a Lemon Square and it was delightful!! I love any kind of lemon cake and the square was light and spongy with a perfect amount of icing/topping without being too sweet. Prices are great and we definitely look forward to trying more of their baked goods next time we stop at Olives!

Delicious, yummy and fresh baked goodness. So much to choose from between different types of bread to savory vs sweet. There is bound to be for the whole family to enjoy. Always great when they are set up at farmer's markets so I can stock up on everything that I'm craving. Friendly and great service every visit, find them around town and purchase some goodies, you won't regret it!

I accidentally stumbled on this bakery and wow, what a great find. They have so many different types of pastries, breads, breakfast and lunch sandwich items, cookies, pies, etc. The selection of sourdough is especially impressive and I had to pick up a loaf of the seeded sourdough for my daily avocado toast. Absolutely delicious!! I freeze my bread for maximum usage but when I run out, I would totally come back and try the other variations of sourdough. Causal. Great and friendly service. There is an indoor seating area to enjoy your purchase. Easy parking. Please come and create your own adventure.

One of my coworkers always brings these cookies in and they are so good and addicting. Something about the freshness and softness of the cookies make them so tasty. Haven't tried anything besides these cookies, but if I'm over in the area, I will be sure to drop in and get these cookies and try some other stuff they have.

Egg, sausage, cheese, tomato, peppers, spinach on sourdough bread.

The food along with the service and vibe were 10/10. The sandwich was so filling. I could only eat half, I took the other one home for later :). Will definitely be coming back.

    Yum!!!

This review is long overdue! Been coming here for years for their sourdough bread ! They open early at 6am! They have it all! regular sourdough , jalapeño and cheese, rosemary , olive and more! All delicious! Their ham and cheese croissants are awesome too! Staff are always friendly and professional and they opened up a little eating area that has a cozy vibe !Check it out! Get everything you need sat because they are closed on Sunday!

The majority of our breads are Vegan Friendly! We do our best to make everything clean label.

It's not that much of a biggie as long as they have quality bagels and have friendly service. The vibe here is like a small neighborhood spot. I came in one morning before work and wanted to try the eye catching rainbow bagel. I ordered that with plain cream cheese. Just a fun, visually appealing bagel (FYI - the colors do not change the flavors, so it's essentially a plain bagel). I also got a container of their chives schmear or cream cheese because I had a bunch of bagels in my fridge at home. Both the bagel and the different cream cheeses were great. The folks working here are just really friendly, so this is one of those places that I love supporting. Also, there's a good variety of fresh bagels every day as well as different flavored or type of schmears. There's also some breakfast sandwiches for the folks that are more hungry and want all the fixins of a more elaborate meal.

I knew I wanted a lox bagel and the young gentleman at the counter helped me with the vietnamese ice coffee which I THINK he recommended caramel? or maybe it was vanilla. Either way, it was superb. The interior is small but that's no worries for me, I enjoyed my breakfast at home. I appreciated that the pickle was wrapped separately. I love pickles but I don't want pickle juice infiltrating my bagel. Portions were solid and well balanced. The bagel itself was soft and crunchy and bit through without fuss. You know when you bite a bagel and it holds back? Not here. Thank you guys!! Next time I'm around, I'll be making sure to stop in.

ONE STAR** VIETNAMESE ICED COFFEE REVIEW ONLY…read more I'm giving 5th Ave Bagelry five stars because I don't like bringing down the rating of a small business. However, I want to be very clear that THIS REVIEW IS SOLELY ABOUT THE VIETNAMESE ICED COFFEE. If I were rating the Vietnamese iced coffee itself, unfortunately, I would give it 1 star. It's advertised as Vietnamese iced coffee, but what I received tasted like a regular iced coffee--watery, mild, and lacking the strong, bold, rich, almost chocolatey flavor you expect from a traditional Vietnamese iced coffee. Honestly, it wasn't much different from an iced coffee you could pick up at a gas station. The small ice was correct and appreciated, but unfortunately, the flavor just wasn't there. I really don't think this particular drink should be called Vietnamese iced coffee because it sets an expectation that the drink simply doesn't deliver. Again, this isn't a review of the business, food, or service--ONLY THE VIETNAMESE ICED COFFEE. I just wanted to give other Vietnamese coffee lovers a heads-up so they know what to expect before ordering it.

The store is small but had a decent layout. The display window had a variety of bagels so you could pick and choose what looked good to you. The confusing thing was the menu board TV screen kept rotating images and the prices for the bagels rotated from $2.00 to $2.50 to $3.00. Then when I ordered my Jalapeño Cheese bagel it turned out to be $3.50! It kind of felt like they were tricking customers with the lower prices being shown. The total price for this was over $6.50 for just a bagel and cream cheese which is on the higher end for this product. Oh well. At least the jalapeño cheese bagel with cream cheese was good. It was chewy and very bready. If you like your bagel more toasted then I would recommend you ask for that. It reminded me very much of a softer jalapeño cheese Wetzel pretzel if you have had that. It wasn't similar to a classic New York bagel, but it was very tasty in a different way. I'd come back.
