Anxious dog or difficult traveling to salon - this is your answer. Our 5 year old, 70lb Golden…read moreRetriever Sonny, grew increasingly anxious for trips to the groomer to the point he laid down in the middle of a busy parking lot and refused to move. I learned about Furry Land on a fb neighborhood group. We have used their services for over a year now and we couldn't be happier. Appointments are easy to make online and communication via text messages are convenient. The mobile salon van arrives on time and the groomers are all so nice, professional and caring. This time Grace traveled to us in the frigid Temps (when all the schools are closed type of cold) and greeted us with a smile. She took time to talk to me about Sonny and the plan for the grooming service. She listened and gave Sonny pets and attention before taking him to the van. With Sonny right out front in the van I had less anxiety too and no time traveling to drop him off or pick him up as he was right there. I went about my weekend chores while Sonny got washed and trimmed. After about 1 hour and 20 minutes Sonny and Grace returned and He was still anxious and excited but no car ride to extend his anxiety, I was able to comfort him immediately. While we talking about how the service went and finishing up, Sonny had a little bleeding from his front nail and Grace noticed it and went into action. She examined his paw then ran out to bring in the quick clot and apply. The bleeding stopped right away. Grace reassured us that the bleeding was likely increased due to his anxiety and pressure being up, it would heal and it did. Sonny looked like himself again! No more Grinch Paws and his fur was shiny and soft. Our fluff ball was back. The full service costs about $25-30 more than our previous groomer but it is well worth it for us. Honestly without this option I don't know what we will do so I hope they continue this awesome service for all the pets like our Sonny. Besides all the convenience, I have to say how thankful we are for the great staff! These people are truly all incredible with such sweet personalities that make us feel very comfortable- big big Thank you Grace and team.

Both Melissa and Nick have done phenomenal jobs on her and I am most impressed by how the management communicates! We had to reschedule her appt based on the holidays and they did everything they could to accommodate. They made it happen! I am VERY particular about the quality of care for every member of my family and do not compromise. Furryland Land exceeds all of my expectations.

We are VCA customers from another state, and we were so glad to find this location and it's incredible reviews once we moved here. When I made the appointments online and over the phone the staff treated us like we had always been customers there. They were kind, informative, and very accommodating. Once we were inside, the front desk employee (Gibbs) was very busy handing people checking in and over the phone but handled it like a pro. So impressed by their level headedness and organization! Especially considering some of the furry visitors that day were not having such a great day :( We did not wait long for our appointments and were quickly assessed by the vet tech Christina (sp). She was shortly followed by Dr. Brosky, and just WOW! I have never left a vet appointment feeling so educated, informed, and happy! Dr. Brosky and her team truly go above and beyond to create such a personalised experience. The time they took to go over everything with me and examining my two dogs was time and money well spent. My dogs quickly opened up to Dr. Brosky and Christina and trust was earned. They were so comfortable and handled the new environment so well (speaking of, for a vet office - it smelled wonderful! It was so clean and well kept). You certainly get what you pay for at the vet and the wisdom and helpful tips and tricks by this staff go above and beyond! I'm so glad to call this new VCA home, and I look forward to our next visit!

Reasonably priced (a bit low actually) and great cuts. At one point, we forgot to make our "next" appointment while we were picking up. After several unanswered calls and texts, my husband had to go in person to talk to her to get her to make an appointment. We understand there is no other staff or scheduler to do the Admin work, however a quick text that she would get back to us would have been appreciated. She decided that she was no longer able to groom our senior dog who became fatigued standing for 2+ hours. This is understandable, however the professional choice would have been to inform us of that decision prior to the day of the appointment. (By the way, we walk our dog 1 mile a day and everyone thinks he is a puppy when they meet him. It's not like he is disabled.) She purposefully left us in a bad position with a dog in need during a shortage of groomers taking new clients. A business owner should care about their clients, their reputation, and operating in a fair manner. Get an assistant, proper equipment (to support dog while grooming) and fulfill the commitment. If one no longer wishes to work with a certain customer, give them the courtesy and communicate that with a fair time frame. A business owner in demand CAN pick and choose the clients they wish to serve. It's done all the time. But separate after contracted commitments/appointments have been fulfilled. Unprofessional and discourteous.
