I've come here several times during the past years. I like their style of menu, mostly for brunch. Cafecitos like cafe con leche, cappuccino or cortadito... mimosas, fresh OJ or green juice. Sandwiches, Croquetas, salads and "discos" (if you're cuban you'll know). They also have healthy dishes with salmon or chicken, quinoa. Outdoor/indoor seating. Cool, laid back ambience.

This place is a hidden gem. Great service, ambiance, and food! It does get busy for brunch on Sundays, beware of some waiting time. Good is fresh and delicious! Cappuccino is really good and my husband has their cortadito, and love it. They out evaporated milk and condensed milk. Service is great and they are very attentive and polite. Great place overall and will keep coming back.

This is not location I went to. I went to the one in Pinecrest across the falls mall. In shopping center where the new first watch and tjmax. I love the food the zucchini soup is a must is delicious and got the italian sandwich. The service was good. See below took few pictures.

Café Bea is a solid spot for brunch making it available all day long (while they are open, that is). Their schedule has been a moving target throughout the past few years - they were originally open until 9 PM during snow bird/high season (Miami winter) and they would close earlier on regular season, summer (I'm guessing they originally came from up north?). I think after the pandemic they switched to closing at 6p, then switched closing to 4pm shortly after, and now weekends at 5p, apparently - I can't keep track (or wake up early enough on most days to do my things and be there with enough time before they close). They are generally super busy on weekends so expect a line for a table, although today I noticed that they drastically expanded their outside sitting options so maybe the wait is less now - I showed up at 3:50p thinking they were about to close before being told weekends they close at 5p. They spruced the place up a few months ago with a myriad of faux flowers, fruits and shrubbery; they also spruced up their prices to account for it - it must have been an expensive refurb - with this upgrade they also started prescribing themselves an automatic 18% service charge; except it's more like 21%+ once you consider they also apply this charge to the taxes and to a 1% Miami-Dade food and Beverage tax that's unique to them - I've not seen it at any other Miami restaurant - restaurant tax in Miami is 7.35% - in any case, someone should explain you can't apply a service charge to taxes and fees - before this last billing change, they used to charge a 3-3.5% credit card fee, which went away now with the new service charge and the 1% MD F&B fee - it would be hard to justify continuing with the credit card fee too. Add all these fees to higher prices and you get a significantly higher total bill. They used to have not just very good prices, but actually LOW prices on most items; however, now they are more on the high side, specially for the type of establishment it is, this is not fine dining - it's a tiny cafe in a small, but busy strip mall with a bustling adult day care to its left side and an even busier and highly inconvenient child day care immediately on their right side, and 70% of the weekend sitting is outside sitting - now, it'd be unfair to not acknowledge they've worked REALLY hard to make the outside sitting as attractive and comfortable as possible considering the brutal Miami heat - aside from that, $30 for a small piece of steak with a small side of mashed potatoes and $32 for a similar piece of short rib doesn't seem befitting the place - my friend didn't want to come with me because of he feels the prices are not aligned with the entrees, but he humored me - he got the $16 burger, which wasn't flavorful, and he's VERY easy to please (I'm the difficult one). $8.95 for a Flying Saucer (disco volador) is high in my opinion given it's a small sand wind; something that should be more around $6.95 IMO. I wouldn't say that any of their dinner entrees are at the 'above average' level and thus I'm not sure they justify the above-average prices charged at a typical Cuban restaurant - specially with Islas Canarias and FINKA (the two best Cuban cuisine restaurants in Miami) literally just couple of blocks away in either direction offering an endless number of flavorful larger-sized entree choices ranging from basic to sophisticated, and for less or similar prices at the top end. Bea's strong suit is really BRUNCH and its lunch salads and sandwiches. In summary, if brunch is your thing, this is one of the few options in town, specially this side of town, and their brunch options are decent and VERY consistent, so you know what you'll be getting. Consequently, for brunch, I recommend the Huevos Rotos, Croquetas, the grouper sandwich - all of their sandwiches are good to great - this is their forte - you can't go wrong with any of their sandwiches; and their French Toast is very enjoyable. Their croquetas are more in line with the original Spanish recipe with a softer interior due to having more bechamel sauce - I like the Manchego cheese ones. So if you're expecting the typical 'hard' Cuban croqueta you can use as a projectile, know these won't be it - these are way better in my opinion. To me, these are another of their brunch specialties.

Ambiance in this place is really great. The decor is amazing all the way to the bathroom. Food is a 7/10. Nothing crazy but for the price is good. Service is a bit lacking. Waiter brought us cups with ice for water but never brought us the water. 15 minutes in i had to ask for water and ask for him to take our order. I do have to say food came out pretty fast.

OMG. The service (Lisandro) he was really nice courteous and great service. The food was amazing. I had a cafe con leche a tomato soup - the steak sandwich and a cortadito. My wife had the avocado tostada with the croqueta and was really good. Everything was delicious. I will definitely recommend this place and I will come back.

First time visiting this cute little spot! They have about eight tables inside but a huge outdoor patio with more tables and fans. To start I ordered the ham croquettes which were OK, but I like mine a little more crispy. When I asked the server for suggestions between two menu options, he really didn't give me an answer so I went with the bacon burger, which was actually cooked well. They bring the food out on a little wooden platter which I would've preferred a plate so I can dip the fries and some ketchup which were just little packets. He brought me . They have a menu for breakfast ,lunch , and dinner and overall was pretty good. Will be back to try other foods soon.

The food and it's presentation were very good! We ordered the Croque madame and the turkey panini both were delicious . May we suggest the cappuccino? Absolutely tasty! One negative thing about this place would be the service, we ordered 4 croquetas (pretty small for $1 each) and they were brought out with our main dishes almost 20-25 mins later . Defeats the purpose of ordering an appetizer. read more

We found this gem on Google and were first so charmed by the outside patio and decor. The waitress was so friendly she recommended the house specialty the croque monsieur which was so rich and flavorful. The cafe con leche was the best coffee we have had since we could remember we had to have 2 each! Café Bea is hands down one of the most cutest shops I've ever seen. The bicycle theme is creative and the shop is so well designed... even down to the restroom. We ordered two cortaditos with leche condensada (evaporated milk), two orders of their homemade croquetas (risotto & ham), and two chocolate macaroons. Everything we ordered was absolutely wonderful. The staff was all very sweet. You can tell this shop was designed with passion and creativity. Can't wait to come back! read more

I've been wanting to check this place out for a couple of months now & today we finally made it to this little gem. Beautiful, cozy, clean & yet simple cafe. The ambiance was great. We arrived roughly 30 minutes before they closed, but the staff was still friendly and didn't rush us. This is definitely something worth noting since it's rare, especially in Miami where lack of patience is deeply embedded in our society. The food, coffee, tea & green juice were amazing. My husband and I arrived at the restaurant at 11:31 in the morning on a Saturday . There was a party of 3 ahead of us to be seated. We made a line behind them and other parties started to arrive behind us. 30 minutes later at 12:32 we still had not been seated (after the waitress told us it would only be a 10-15 minute wait) all Of the sudden another party of 2 who arrived much later than we did became upset, said something to the waitress and she SKIPPED THEM AHEAD OF MY HUSBAND AND I AND SAT THEM DOWN. My husband mentioned something to the waitress and she pointed to an occupied table and said "as soon as this woman is done we will sit you there" my husband kindly explained we were ahead of the party she skipped and sat down but the waitress didn't care. We left the establishment immediately. I didn't get to try the food however what I saw coming out of the kitchen looked disappointing. This place wouldn't survive a second in a more populated location like Wynwood. The only reason this place is still open must be because it's so out west and there are not many options out here. If I could give it half a star instead of one I would. read more

Love this neighborhood coffee shop!! The ambience is nice, and relaxing. The decor is very trendy, urban. Service is 5-star, very quick and attentive. Try the croque madam if you go on the morning, just trust me! And the cappuccino is delicious!! This is a new restaurant, and they have new delicious treats, salads, sandwiches... And they usually have some specials of different things to try for lunch. Definitely give them a try! If you live nearby, you will keep going! Very small place (3 tables for four and 2 tables for two). Croque Madame was delicious. French toast a bargain at $2.50. I wouldn't wait for a table, but it's good for brunch. The only comment I have would be that thru need to bring out the kid's food first. We waited almost ten minutes after we received our food to get my son's French toast. Update: had Lunch today (im hooked) and the Caprese sandwich was huuuge! and delicious and my big-appetite-athletic-daughter's new favorite. My Panini with Arugula and Prosciutto was very generous and the perfect combination of fresh and light and satisfying. We were starving when we arrived so we asked for a side of french fries (not on the menu) just in case. But we were so full and delighted with our meal that we couldn't finish the crunchy and crusty french fries we ordered!!! Ooh - try the mint lemonade - green, refreshing, delicious!!!! More like a mint refreshment with lemon - the way a lemonade was probably meant to be. As a lunch special, they were offering picadillo and mashed potatoes- so there are other options but Im thinking Ive got to exhaust the menu first. Love this place. While working a few blocks away, I was quite hungry and looking for breakfast. This place more than delivered! I ordered a cortadito, salmon on a bagel, a piece of the almond pastry, and a coconut dessert cup. The cortadito was so wonderful that I ended up getting a second. It was creamy and smooth without being overly sweet. The salmon and bagel were fresh and the ingredients fit perfectly together. The desserts were both great, but the almond cake was the standout. It worked beautifully with the cortadito and I'm glad I don't live closer or I would be here every morning! read more

Wish I could give this place 0 stars! The most horrible service provided by the hostess, which estimated a wait time of around an hour despite the fact that there were more than 5 empty tables. With all the amazing breakfast options around this area we decided to try this place based on all the raving reviews. It was a waste of time, and the very rude lady who even gave me an attitude for absolutely no reason did not make the experience any better. You could definitely tell she was not the owner and therefore didn't care to loose a party of 5. Don't recommend this place, we ended up eating somewhere else. read more

Went early Friday morning. We already knew what we wanted. The server made us wait for about 20 min. She was taking another tables order since we got there. Ended up getting up and leaving. When we were leaving the server said she can take our order now yet she was still too busy taking the same order. Shame that the food is good but staff makes it unpleasant for us to make a simple order for 2 people. This isn't the first time we have to wait forever to get attended. Very disappointing....ordered the French chicken with mash (that suppose to come with a side of a salad). Arrived, paid, sat down waited for my food to go. After 10min of a wait they brought to my attention they had no mash and replaced it with white rice. To my surprise lunch was, a piece of chicken, white rice and two pieces of bread. We booked a 6:30 PM reservation so we could grab a happy hour drink before hand. I think the cocktails at the happy hour bar are different from the regular menu. I had an apricot gin cocktail that I didn't love, but was decent and a slow slipper and my husband had a campari cocktail that is great if you like campari. The bartender was accommodating and overheard me asking my husband if he knew how to spritz the lemon peel like she did but he hadn't been paying attention so she did it again. For dinner, I spotted the table next to us dining on the rolls and Caesar salad and decided I wanted both. The server mentioned that salad is one of their most popular. The rolls were light and fluffy, and very large with sweet and savory honey butter. The Caesar salad was good. It comes out as large leafs of romaine, which is a nice presentation but I do think that leads to breadcrumb and dressing distribution being uneven. It was a very good salad dressing though, not too tart or heavy but still creamy and zesty. For our entrees we had the cavatelli with duck ragu which was my favorite. There were both crispy and tender elements to the duck and the pasta just melted in your mouth. We saved a tiny bit of it to take home because we couldn't stop nibbling on it, and it was great the next day too. They brought our steak out after our pasta. We should have specified we wanted them at the same time. By the time our steak arrived we were pretty full. The steak was served tender and juicy. We got the Prime Hanger. I appreciated that the server mentioned their two less expensive cuts were very popular instead of trying to upsell us on their pricier options, as we were very happy with this option. We had some steak leftover as well which was delicious the next day too. As it was perfectly medium rare, we were able to heat it up on a skillet without it overcooking much. We ordered the Bernaise sauce with our steak, but it was not necessary and I probably would have skipped it. Service was good and pretty efficient. They made sure to check on us frequently but the meal was good without any additions. I don't remember if when booking I requested an outdoor table but their patio is quite hot in summer. I think they need some outdoor fans to help with the heat as I was shvitzing a bit. If I were to visit again in the summer I would make sure to specify the need for an indoor table, but I'm sure it's lovely in the winter months. There was also the occasionally fly near our food which did kill the mood a bit and some table fans might help with. There is a gravel parking lot next to the restaurant. When we arrived there was only one spot available so it does fill up.

Café Bea is a little gem we found near our home. It's very deceiving from the outside because you would never expect the incredible food they serve. The restaurant has social distancing, waitresses very attentive and following mask regulations. Customers must wear masks until at their table. Now once you've gotten past all this, you are in for quite a treat. The BEST croquettes I've ever had in my life!!!!! The salads are incredible!! Everything we ate was absolutely nothing short of gourmet meals, I highly recommended this little restaurant for brunch, even dinner. The cortadito is same but with added condensed milk, perfect blend of sweetness. The Croquetas Madame and the Huevos Rotos delicious. My husband ordered scrambled eggs with ham, the ham croquettes are small but so flavorful. They do not offer bacon, but their Serrano ham is top notch. Excellent place for breakfast and brunch. I went on a Sunday morning and it was packed! That's exactly how you know if a place was good. I had their Huevos Rotos and french toast. It was great, the meat was juicy and fresh and very big portions. I ordered the Croque madam and I can't recommend them enough, it's super crunchy, the after taste was amazing. Very nice place for brunch the croquetas are some of the best of the area specially the chorizo ones, beneficts was awesome the perfect balance between soft and hard just how I like them. Espresso was good, not perfect but it had good taste, was missing some body but is good. read more
