I've come here several times during the past years. I like their style of menu, mostly for brunch. Cafecitos like cafe con leche, cappuccino or cortadito... mimosas, fresh OJ or green juice. Sandwiches, Croquetas, salads and "discos" (if you're cuban you'll know). They also have healthy dishes with salmon or chicken, quinoa. Outdoor/indoor seating. Cool, laid back ambience.

This place is a hidden gem. Great service, ambiance, and food! It does get busy for brunch on Sundays, beware of some waiting time. Good is fresh and delicious! Cappuccino is really good and my husband has their cortadito, and love it. They out evaporated milk and condensed milk. Service is great and they are very attentive and polite. Great place overall and will keep coming back.

This is not location I went to. I went to the one in Pinecrest across the falls mall. In shopping center where the new first watch and tjmax. I love the food the zucchini soup is a must is delicious and got the italian sandwich. The service was good. See below took few pictures.

Café Bea is a solid spot for brunch making it available all day long (while they are open, that is). Their schedule has been a moving target throughout the past few years - they were originally open until 9 PM during snow bird/high season (Miami winter) and they would close earlier on regular season, summer (I'm guessing they originally came from up north?). I think after the pandemic they switched to closing at 6p, then switched closing to 4pm shortly after, and now weekends at 5p, apparently - I can't keep track (or wake up early enough on most days to do my things and be there with enough time before they close). They are generally super busy on weekends so expect a line for a table, although today I noticed that they drastically expanded their outside sitting options so maybe the wait is less now - I showed up at 3:50p thinking they were about to close before being told weekends they close at 5p. They spruced the place up a few months ago with a myriad of faux flowers, fruits and shrubbery; they also spruced up their prices to account for it - it must have been an expensive refurb - with this upgrade they also started prescribing themselves an automatic 18% service charge; except it's more like 21%+ once you consider they also apply this charge to the taxes and to a 1% Miami-Dade food and Beverage tax that's unique to them - I've not seen it at any other Miami restaurant - restaurant tax in Miami is 7.35% - in any case, someone should explain you can't apply a service charge to taxes and fees - before this last billing change, they used to charge a 3-3.5% credit card fee, which went away now with the new service charge and the 1% MD F&B fee - it would be hard to justify continuing with the credit card fee too. Add all these fees to higher prices and you get a significantly higher total bill. They used to have not just very good prices, but actually LOW prices on most items; however, now they are more on the high side, specially for the type of establishment it is, this is not fine dining - it's a tiny cafe in a small, but busy strip mall with a bustling adult day care to its left side and an even busier and highly inconvenient child day care immediately on their right side, and 70% of the weekend sitting is outside sitting - now, it'd be unfair to not acknowledge they've worked REALLY hard to make the outside sitting as attractive and comfortable as possible considering the brutal Miami heat - aside from that, $30 for a small piece of steak with a small side of mashed potatoes and $32 for a similar piece of short rib doesn't seem befitting the place - my friend didn't want to come with me because of he feels the prices are not aligned with the entrees, but he humored me - he got the $16 burger, which wasn't flavorful, and he's VERY easy to please (I'm the difficult one). $8.95 for a Flying Saucer (disco volador) is high in my opinion given it's a small sand wind; something that should be more around $6.95 IMO. I wouldn't say that any of their dinner entrees are at the 'above average' level and thus I'm not sure they justify the above-average prices charged at a typical Cuban restaurant - specially with Islas Canarias and FINKA (the two best Cuban cuisine restaurants in Miami) literally just couple of blocks away in either direction offering an endless number of flavorful larger-sized entree choices ranging from basic to sophisticated, and for less or similar prices at the top end. Bea's strong suit is really BRUNCH and its lunch salads and sandwiches. In summary, if brunch is your thing, this is one of the few options in town, specially this side of town, and their brunch options are decent and VERY consistent, so you know what you'll be getting. Consequently, for brunch, I recommend the Huevos Rotos, Croquetas, the grouper sandwich - all of their sandwiches are good to great - this is their forte - you can't go wrong with any of their sandwiches; and their French Toast is very enjoyable. Their croquetas are more in line with the original Spanish recipe with a softer interior due to having more bechamel sauce - I like the Manchego cheese ones. So if you're expecting the typical 'hard' Cuban croqueta you can use as a projectile, know these won't be it - these are way better in my opinion. To me, these are another of their brunch specialties.

Ambiance in this place is really great. The decor is amazing all the way to the bathroom. Food is a 7/10. Nothing crazy but for the price is good. Service is a bit lacking. Waiter brought us cups with ice for water but never brought us the water. 15 minutes in i had to ask for water and ask for him to take our order. I do have to say food came out pretty fast.

OMG. The service (Lisandro) he was really nice courteous and great service. The food was amazing. I had a cafe con leche a tomato soup - the steak sandwich and a cortadito. My wife had the avocado tostada with the croqueta and was really good. Everything was delicious. I will definitely recommend this place and I will come back.

First time visiting this cute little spot! They have about eight tables inside but a huge outdoor patio with more tables and fans. To start I ordered the ham croquettes which were OK, but I like mine a little more crispy. When I asked the server for suggestions between two menu options, he really didn't give me an answer so I went with the bacon burger, which was actually cooked well. They bring the food out on a little wooden platter which I would've preferred a plate so I can dip the fries and some ketchup which were just little packets. He brought me . They have a menu for breakfast ,lunch , and dinner and overall was pretty good. Will be back to try other foods soon.

The only reason this place is getting 4 stars and not more was because of the service being super slow but oh my gosh the food was delicious and amazing. The croquetas are so fresh and taste superb. The eggs were pretty good too. And the French toast was stunning. The natural orange juice was also refreshing delicious and just the decor of this place is so aesthetically pleasing perfect for Instagram. And the prices are super affordable for those who like to brunch on a budget. I really wish the service would've been better so this amazing place could get its 5 stars read more

After a 15 mile bike ride around Shark Valley National Park, Cafe Bea was a delightful find. Heading back to Weston it barely took us off route and was worth every minute of wait for a table. What seemed like a busy Sunday morning our waitress Jenny was absolutely pleasant and very attentive. If she was too remove her mask I would bet she has the most beautiful smile. My husband and I ordered a couple of Cortaditos, a cappuccino, Croquetas, Eggs Benedict, and Huevos Rotos. Everything was delicious. You could tell the eggs were very fresh. We will go there again. FYI if you do not need to speak Spanish and they do have outside seating. read more

This is the most aesthetic place i've ever been to. I give 5 stars because the service was reasonable, it didn't come immediately but it didn't take as long as other breakfast places. It took about 10 minutes for the food to arrive. My mother ordered the famous Croque Madame, which was okay. Honestly, it would be better without the bechamel sauce. My father and I ordered the Huevos Rotos, which were eggs and serrano ham over french fries. The eggs were over- medium, yolky perfection! This was my favorite plate. My brother ordered some Ham Croquettes, 3 to be exact. He wasn't very hungry, which was good because the Croquettes were good, but they didn't fill you up. Lastly, I ordered some French toast. It reminded me of the taste of the Bread Pudding from Nordstrom. It was slightly too sweet, but still delicious for those with a sweet tooth. In review, I loved this place and I would definitely come back to this quaint place. Update: A few days ago, I returned to the restaurant, and now, I don't recommend it anymore. We arrived the place at around 10 am, and left at 1 pm. Everyone in my family ordered the same thing as last time, and it tasted the same, except colder. We had to wait more than 2 hours for our food and their excuse was that it was pretty busy at this hour, which I agree it was, but literally everyone else had gotten their food before us. It seemed like they had forgotten about us because it took about half an hour just for them to serve us some cold coffee. I admit the taste of the food wasn't that bad, i'll give them that. But at all costs, don't go to cafe bea, especially during the weekend. read more

Late lunch, I had the caprese sandwich the bread was drenched in butter. All I tasted was the butter and mozarella, the peato sauce it supposedly came with was non existant. My husband ordered the turkey sandwich which was suppose to come with pear and mango chutney ...instead it had a few slices of a granny smith apple. We ordered a cortadito and a cappuccino.. our food came and had to ask the waiter for our drinks. He seemed to be bothered by us specifically when he was fine with everyone else. There is no place like this in this area. We were tired of eating a Cuban breakfast whenever we wanted to go out by the house. This was an extremely pleasant surprise. I had a croque Madame and I exchanged the ham for prosciutto. They have me no problems like most restaurants. Wife had the huevos rotos and we shared french toast. Everything was delicious. The food and coffee might be good but if the employees are rude it ruins the entire experience. I went in and the place was pretty full but no customers were at the counter. I was not even acknowledged but asked for a menu I could look at in the meantime. While waiting a large line formed behind me. They then asked me if I was alone or with the group. I told them I was alone and wanted to order to go. The employees were saying amongst themselves that people "need to wait" I placed my order and the lady seemed annoyed by my questions. I asked for a sandwich to go but asked for my coffee and the croquette in the meantime while I wait. She rolled her eyes at my request. They asked me to sit down and wait both to pay and for my order. Then they proceed taking orders and giving everyone else their coffee on the spot and once I asked for mine they grab it from the corner where it was prepared and getting cold. And the croquetta never came. They gave me my order like this and now I'm waiting for a bag............. read more

The place is good for breakfast and lunch. The tres leche here is amazing they make it with some type of nuts inside that gives it a really good texture. The prices are also very affordable. We booked a 6:30 PM reservation so we could grab a happy hour drink before hand. I think the cocktails at the happy hour bar are different from the regular menu. I had an apricot gin cocktail that I didn't love, but was decent and a slow slipper and my husband had a campari cocktail that is great if you like campari. The bartender was accommodating and overheard me asking my husband if he knew how to spritz the lemon peel like she did but he hadn't been paying attention so she did it again. For dinner, I spotted the table next to us dining on the rolls and Caesar salad and decided I wanted both. The server mentioned that salad is one of their most popular. The rolls were light and fluffy, and very large with sweet and savory honey butter. The Caesar salad was good. It comes out as large leafs of romaine, which is a nice presentation but I do think that leads to breadcrumb and dressing distribution being uneven. It was a very good salad dressing though, not too tart or heavy but still creamy and zesty. For our entrees we had the cavatelli with duck ragu which was my favorite. There were both crispy and tender elements to the duck and the pasta just melted in your mouth. We saved a tiny bit of it to take home because we couldn't stop nibbling on it, and it was great the next day too. They brought our steak out after our pasta. We should have specified we wanted them at the same time. By the time our steak arrived we were pretty full. The steak was served tender and juicy. We got the Prime Hanger. I appreciated that the server mentioned their two less expensive cuts were very popular instead of trying to upsell us on their pricier options, as we were very happy with this option. We had some steak leftover as well which was delicious the next day too. As it was perfectly medium rare, we were able to heat it up on a skillet without it overcooking much. We ordered the Bernaise sauce with our steak, but it was not necessary and I probably would have skipped it. Service was good and pretty efficient. They made sure to check on us frequently but the meal was good without any additions. I don't remember if when booking I requested an outdoor table but their patio is quite hot in summer. I think they need some outdoor fans to help with the heat as I was shvitzing a bit. If I were to visit again in the summer I would make sure to specify the need for an indoor table, but I'm sure it's lovely in the winter months. There was also the occasionally fly near our food which did kill the mood a bit and some table fans might help with. There is a gravel parking lot next to the restaurant. When we arrived there was only one spot available so it does fill up.

Café Bea is a little gem we found near our home. It's very deceiving from the outside because you would never expect the incredible food they serve. The restaurant has social distancing, waitresses very attentive and following mask regulations. Customers must wear masks until at their table. Now once you've gotten past all this, you are in for quite a treat. The BEST croquettes I've ever had in my life!!!!! The salads are incredible!! Everything we ate was absolutely nothing short of gourmet meals, I highly recommended this little restaurant for brunch, even dinner. It was great, the meat was juicy and fresh and very big portions. I ordered the Croque madam and I can't recommend them enough, it's super crunchy, the after taste was amazing.
