Just had a nice breakfast at ChouxChoux Café on 20th & 24. Fresh food and a good vibe! I got the chicken caprese croissant and enjoyed the pesto & the dressing on the salad. Hubby got bacon breakfast tacos with papas and enjoyed his as well. Both meals along with 2 limonadas minerales was less the 500 pesos with tip

I went on a Saturday morning a little after 9:00 a.m. it took a while for me to get service I'm not sure if it's because I was sitting at the bar alone. I am glad that I waited though because I thoroughly enjoyed my food and drinks I got their breakfast combo which comes with one coffee latte or tea as well as your choice of freshly squeezed orange juice watermelon or grapefruit juice and then I got the egg Benedict and they gave me a complimentary croissant The ambiance is very nice they have an inside seating area as well as a cupboard deck but I opted to sit outside because it felt so refreshing The watermelon juice was really refreshing. I got a flat white which was pretty strong but I decided not to add any sugar and just go for it the eggs Benedict was delicious the Hollandaise sauce is perfect it's not overpowering and I have been good no stomach issues after visiting

I love Choux Choux, the food and ambiance never get old. Great location and nice team help to create a chill and relaxed space for early breakfast or brunch.

This is my fave breakfast spot in Playa Del Carmen. Not far off the beaten path makes for a relaxing and enjoyable dining experience. The inside of the restaurant as well as their courtyard are beautiful and inviting. Their pastry case is like no other featuring mouthwatering cheesecakes adorned with fresh coconut or passion fruit, and croissants you just wanna rip apart and stuff in your mouth. The portions are generous so keep that in mind to ensure you don't over order. Their smoothie bowl, fresh juice, matcha, vegetarian bagel, and waffle are not to be missed'

I love to leave realistic reviews, and let's be complaining honest the place is beautiful, but their tables and chairs are completely loose. I used to really like this place but every time I come, their food is inconsistent as well as your drinks. I usually order the French toast which used to look like the image below, and then they change it to a regular bread not to mention they used to give you lots of berries, and now they gave me three I usually order the same drink, which is There, Chi Chi Chino, which comes with a blended drink and ice cream on top that has espresso in it already and a side of cookie and a spoon this time. It was literally just milk, the ice cream and espresso on the side and they expect you to pour it on top, which was OK but then they didn't give us a spoon and we had to wait about 10 minutes to collar server. For two minutes and we both got our food at separate time and no utensils. Again had to flag our waiter down. When my food arrived they then told me the side I order was no longer available and when I asked to subistiute to something else they said no only a salir. Who wants salud for breakfast ?. What made the situation worse was that I was still expected to pay full price for what was essentially a half meal with no side. On top of that, when I asked for a cup to go, I later noticed that a "meal to go" charge had been added to my bill without it being discussed when I requested it at my table. I did bring this up to the host, and , he was kind enough to correct hut only after I spoke up. This place used to be at a reasonable price but with the popularity I feel like priced went up with their quality way down. I do not think I will be coming any time soon anymore. It really sucks because my first couple time here have been great the last 3 where disappointing and I continued to come and give it the benefit of the doubt but after this 3rd time disappointment they lost a loyal customer hopefully with a few realistic reviews they can take a look back and see how to improve there hospitality and food quality as it once used to be. The last pic of the 4 little berries and bland "French toasts is where they are now serving companies to the first 2 pics the first picture of the 3 toast where unique and rich in flavor. They the changed the bread to a normal sandwich bread with bland flavors and the 3rd one was not French toast at all was bread with sugar and a few berries.

This place is very cute. The service and food does take a while, so you need to come prepared to wait. The drinks come out pretty fast so order something refreshing while you wait. There is no AC here like most places in Playa, so keep that in mind when you come to eat. When we ate it was super hot at around 11am. The French toast was a good portion and had a lot of whip cream. If you do not like whip cream, ask for it to be removed. I liked that the smoothies had metal straws. Environmentally friendly and also didn't see many straws in local restaurants. The cappuccino has such a cute design and comes with a little banana bread. I can see why this place is popular- it is cute, food is decent, the coffees are nice, the smoothies are refreshing and everyone is nice.

We just had coffee and it was great, good service and the ambience was super chill with outside seating.

    French Gringo with "smoked" salmon
    Kris P.

This places is popular so expect a line and a wait. Service was terribly slow. Not acknowledged after 15 mins of just sitting.. My food was meh. I ordered the French Gringo. A side of potatoes, waffles , scrambled eggs, instead of bacon I asked for smoked salmon. The salmon was ice cold on top of my food. When I asked for it to be warmed a little on the grill. The server was like no, but let me ask. Well he never came back. 30 mins later as I've asked for the chk twice at this pt someone comes to ask "is there something wrong with your food" I was over it, hungry and ready to go. Although they have vegetarian / vegan options. All of the other protein was pork.

We stopped here again after being here a year ago. The food was as good as last year. We totally enjoyed our breakfast and the fresh squeezed orange juice. The atmosphere and food are very good here. Definitely a place that we will return to if we get back here next year.

Food: Mushroom eggs Benedict and Mediterranean bagel (with side salad) Drinks: mokachino and La Flaca Caribeña smoothie
    Ana C.

Found this restaurant on Yelp and decided to try it out. Started off with the almond croissant and it was good, but also not the best almond croissant I've had. The mokachino was super delicious, definitely on the more chocolaty side. I ordered the mushroom eggs Benedict. They were really good but I'm not sure if it was the mushroom or the hollandaise sauce, but something was a little too salty. The side salad was really good and refreshing with a nice, light dressing. Overall, the ambiance and the service was really good and made the experience enjoyable. Definitely recommend trying it out!

Great service - great attitude - friendly - nice outside area to sit in! I get why people give it a great review! MoKa was great! The 'motuleños' eggs are a play I think, on guevos rancheros! The soupy broth was delicious around a corn tortilla and eggs on top! Pro tip - eat it with a fork and a spoon !!!! I don't think you can order anything bad here! Love it. Enjoy and you are welcomed

Wow. What an incredible breakfast. The ambiance and service were great but the food stole the show here. Really fresh and really tasty food.

    Christy A.

Pleasant service and the food was made fresh to order. My egg white veggie omelette was prepared just as I requested and was delicious. Exactly what I needed after the humid morning run to refuel my energy. Espresso, fresh juice, smoothie also available. Visa/MasterCard accepted. ~Christy

When we got off the ship there was a line of taxis ready to go and the ride cost $20 for two people one way. When we arrived, the staff greeted us and guided us to the front desk where we checked in for our reservation. I highly recommend making a reservation ahead of time because it definitely helps expedite your entrance. One thing worth noting is that when we booked online it didn't show cabanas available, but when we arrived the host checked and was able to get us into one. I highly recommend getting a cabana if one is available because it gives you a nice private area to relax. That said, there are also plenty of tables with covered umbrellas that provide shade from the sun. What really stood out about this place was the level of service. It was incredibly attentive. I honestly don't think we ever waited more than a few minutes before someone came by asking if we needed another drink or more food. Our servers were Juan and Pops/Eric and both of them were fantastic. It felt like every time I turned my head one of them was checking in to make sure we had everything we needed. They offer all-inclusive food and you can either go up to the buffet or order directly from the menu and have it delivered to your table or cabana. The property also has multiple pools, massage services, swim-up areas, and gift shops around the resort. At one point what appeared to be a manager came by and asked how we heard about the place and checked in on how our experience was going. That really reinforced how focused they are on service. The location is right on the beach so you get beautiful ocean views while enjoying unlimited food and drinks throughout the day. Overall Mr. Sancho's delivers a great beach day experience with excellent service and it's definitely a place I would visit again when returning to Cozumel.
