The tiniest piece of avocado toast I've ever seen. Like 4"x2" for $18. We complained because we felt totally ripped off. The quiche was good. Otherwise a cute place. But seriously, dude. If you're selling avocado toast for $18, give people a decent size piece of toast.

Came into try Brew for my morning matcha mission! Brew is a colorful cafe right on the corner of B…read moreSt and Healdsburg Ave. It has cute outdoor seating with umbrellas and plenty of chairs and tables inside without feeling cramped. It's got bar seating too! There's also some board games if you want something to play with friends over drinks. Ordered a 12oz matcha latte with almond milk ($7) and opted to have it unsweetened. Overall smooth but not too strong, and a tiny bit sweet probably from whatever almond milk they use! I like mine a bit stronger and it's not the best I've had but decent! "For here" mugs are always a plus in my book too. Brew is unique that it doubles as a cozy bar too once the late afternoon rolls around. They've got interesting events happening throughout the month posted on their sign. Some of their food and pastries are sourced from local Red Bird Bakery and Village Bakery too if you're hungry! Parking might suck, you could find street parking maybe on 8th St or if you're early you could park by the meters for free before 9AM. There's a $1/hr parking garage right nearby but if there's nothing, best to park at SR Plaza for free and make the 5min walk over. I really like the vibes of Brew and wanna come back for a happy hour one day! It's nice to see a very queer friendly cafe/bar rolled into one!

They are very forward about their fierce advocacy for LGBTQ+ rights with rainbow flags everywhere. I am here for it! Let's talk about the food and drinks! First, I come here semi-regularly and I am a huge fan of their breakfast burrito and breakfast sandwich! My other favorite food item is not on their regular menu anymore, but I LOVE when they do their baked oatmeal. Their coffee is great here, which is from Ritual Roaster in San Francisco. If you come here in the Fall, their seasonal Pumpkin Latte is my favorite Pumpkin Spice latte in the area. So good! They also have a great selection of locally brewed beers, but I've never actually come here at any other time besides morning. They host lots of fun events and have live music and trivia nights. A true, community establishment! The service is friendly. They know their regulars and they are knowledgeable about their food and drinks. I like the inside cafe, but I almost always sit outside in their large, parklet. This parklet was established during Covid times, and for awhile it was taken down, but thankfully it's back! If you haven't checked out Brew then you definitely should! Come and support them and their progressive causes!

This is a quaint welcoming coffee shop, with customers working and chatting with friends. The Bergamot Matcha Latte was well made. Citrus, floral, and mixed well with matcha, delicious! Wife had the Infused Honey Latte with almond milk and enjoyed it. Smelled and tasted great! The coffee art was also well made! Definitely give this place a try!

It's really nice inside, clean and bright, lots of seating and a large assortment of coffee, cocoa and other items to purchase to take home. The line wasn't long but it was still nice to get our order taken care of by one of the employees while we waited. When we got to the counter we added a cookie to our order and the drinks came right out! The counter person was very friendly! Here's the thing....unless I missed it there was no restroom? Maybe it was outside? And although I saw mostly all excellent reviews on Yelp, I thought my coffee (the cold Milky Way) was just ok. I'm not sure what would have made it better, but it just wasn't that great. I did like the fact that it had no ice (which means more coffee in your cup) but was still cold and refreshing.

With all of the options around it is sometimes hard to pick a place to go on a Saturday morning. Jeffrey's is a charming, family friendly establishment that is attached to a small inn off Highway 12. Other inside is pretty small, but they do have some outdoor tables. The interior has some lovely art on the walls as well as positive phrases making you feel like you're home. The service is also great here, and I feel like I've seen the same folks working here for many years. My wife and I ordered two different Hashes to share. The Brussel Sprouts and Bacon Hash is fantastic, which has this blue cheese aioli that gives the dish so much flavor. The Brussel sprouts seem like they're steamed and then tossed in the hash with sautéed diced onions, bell peppers and bacon. The aioli is on the side, but just adding a little bit to each bite gives it so much extra. We also ordered the special of the day which was a Smoked Chicken and Butternut Squash Hash. It has some of the same elements of sautéed onions and bell peppers, but this was served with a cilantro aioli. This dish, while not as amazing at the other Hash, was still really good. My daughter ordered the Buttermilk pancakes (added blueberries to them) with sausage and eggs. She certainly enjoyed them!

Food: Needs work. Ordered the Eggs Benedict. The poached eggs were on point. Absolutely perfect. The champagne hollandaise was a fun twist but couldn't save the meal. The English muffin might have been hard track. It was paper thin and I had to saw through it. Ham had no flavor at all. I don't think it was ham. Maybe thin sliced and unseasoned pork but not ham. Worst part was the county potatoes. They came out slightly above room temperature and hard. They're parboiled then flash fried. Not a bad way to get crisp but I can only assume they do this ahead of the rush and then they sit in a container to be served. My wife ordered her's extra crispy and they come out much better. Coffee smelled and tasted like an ashtray. Overall, I wanted to like this place and the service itself is amazing, but the back of the house needs some work.
