Once again Besame Mucho delivers again. If you want solid latin fusion food in an upbeat setting come here. The decor is eclectic and the staff is welcoming. The queso fundido is generous with a good amount of chorizo. It's now served with hot corn tortillas. The elote is still one of our favorites with a nice spiciness and la crema. The servers and staff are always gracious and happy to accommodate. Jorge and Miguel are great. Such a wonderful addition to the food scene in downtown Railroad Square. Ordered the 3 crepes and pambazo The 3 crepes are delicious, not too sweet or overpowering. The pambazo is just average, the bread is kinda too mushy/soft, nothing crispy at all. This is an Instagram-ready, beautiful and happening spot for lunch. Everything looks glam and people's birthday shout outs are wild and loud. Our waiter was very attentive and professional, and overall we were pleased with our experience. We ordered: Menudo: This comes with a pork hock and loooooots of tripas. My limes were a bit dry, but aside from that the flavor was very spot on and it was very filling. Tres leches french toast: Yummmmm, delicious! I'm not sure how 'tres leches'-y it was, but definitely milky, moist, and crunchy on the outside. It worked for me! Conchas: Ok this actually blew me away. I'm used to conchas being dry and not very satisfying, but these literally stayed soft DAYS after I brought them home. The souffle topping on top covered the entire top of the concha and this was an absolute delight. Honestly, best conchas I've had in the US so far. I wouldn't mind coming here again and trying other items. Personally, the loudness of the "birthday music" (reggaeton) was a little much for a morning/brunch hour, but people seemed to enjoy the hype. read more

If you're looking for something that feels classy, but also affordable and not stuffy, then this is the place for you. Besame Mucho was new to me, and I don't believe I had ever been to their originally location where they went by the name Cafe de Aromas. They took over this space back in the summer, but I just learned of that. The former restaurant here was also very classy and kind of pricy. They have kept the decor classy, but added a lot color and brightness to the place. I came in and felt like I was underdressed, but no one made me feel like I wasn't anything but an honored guest. The service here is wonderful and deserves a lot of credit for that. The brunch menu has some great options on it. My wife and I decided to get the Chilaquiles Suivos and the French toast. The chilaquiles came smothered in a flavorful green sauce with a lot of melty cheese. The chips keep their texture pretty well for a while, so this is a dish best eaten quickly. The French toast has a great presentation and it's pretty delicious with the Tres leches sauce that is an option. We will definitely come back and try more of the menu since it has so many great options. This is a great addition to Railroad Square. read more

It's like one of those cute fancy little brunch spots in SF & Oakland with all the photo opp spots, it's really kind of magical. Now for the Gram. So many cute photo spots, cute red booths, a flower wall, chandeliers that had flowers hanging down. Beautiful art all around the place including a lady made of flowers. All the drinks were gorgeous and instagramable. We got to enjoy a bday from our lookout spot on the 2nd floor and decided we must come back for our bdays. They do the whole song and dance cake with a sparkler in it. Definitely a good bday spot. Literally we can't lose this place locals! We need more of this if anything. Came here, Valentine morning, looking for Aroma Cafe and was very confused when everything on the walls said the new name, Besame. I had never been here regardless, so I was open to try a new spot, and I was not disappointed. The food here is great, and the music is even better(Spanish romantic vibe). For whatever reason, our waiter didnt want to speak Spanish to us, even though we were speaking Spanish to him, it was a little bizarre, but nonetheless, his service was awesome, very attentive and answered any questions we had. If you've never been to Mexico, this next portion may not make any sense to you. My best way of describing the red Chilaquiles is...they taste exactly like Mexican (in Mexico) enchiladas. Not necessarily something I look for in my chilaquiles, I prefer a little spice, but it was a nice surprise and definitely nostalgic. The birria was delicious. It needed a little bit of salt and maybe some lemon none of which was on the table or provided, but it had some great flavor. read more

Vanessa served us at the bar, and she was simply lovely... more than accommodating. It was happy hour when we came in and the drinks were super reasonable. My boyfriend got an old-fashioned and I had a beer ....so reasonable in this area it is ridiculous. Anyway we weren't sure what to order at first so we vacillated between the molcajetes and the fajitas. She placed our order and accidentally ordered both so we got one for free. Came here to try the macchaca. We came on a Sunday for early brunch while staying in the area. I was excited to try the machaca and used the horchata latte to convince hubby to come. Waffles and berries: 3.5 stars. Decent. Good waffles. Whipped cream needs to be worked on. Berries were fresh. It was two large waffles. Hard for one to finish. Wish they had more cream and berries on the bottom one. Machaca con Huevos: 2.5 stars. Flavor was ok. Too much eggs. Look at my pics. I had machaca in Mexico and I was expecting the same thing. This was scrambled eggs with small chunks of beef. It was not shredded beef with little eggs and tomatoes. So disappointed. On the other hand the horchata was decent. Lots of cinnamon flavor. My family and I were in town to visit the snoopy museum, we thought we'd stop somewhere for breakfast and found this place on Yelp. Theres plenty of paid street parking and a parking lot down the street. We waited less than 5 minutes before the hostess came and sat us down. Our server was nice and checked on us maybe twice, the other times I felt like the other workers saw us sitting there and told her to check on us. But she brought us water, gave us a "couple more minutes" before she came back to take our order. We ordered the Alambre Omelette, Smoked Salmon Wrap, and mini breakfast. I also got myself the cafe de olla. Coffee was good and it came with some cookies. The Alambre was okay. My sister who has a weak spice tolerance said the guac in her salmon wrap was spicy. And my brother enjoyed his English muffin. There were only 5 small potatoes that came with our meals, which were pretty bland. I wish there were seasoning on the table ready for us. Again, our server was nice and checked on us maybe 2-3 times which we didn't need anything during those times and the times where we did need something we couldn't get her attention or find her. I think the music is a bit loud which is why she couldn't hear us. We were able to get the hostess attention to ask for more water which she relayed to the server. And again, the hostess eventually cleared our plates and asked us if we needed the check after finishing our food 15 minutes prior and had been trying to flag our server down. It was also getting busy so I'm assuming that's why the hostess came to clear the table. Overall it was an okay experience. read more

I finally tried their new location! I've always liked the one on 5th Street, but my friend told me this one was really good, so we decided to check it out. I ordered my usual alambre omelette and a side of their spicy salsa yumm~ so good as always. My friend got the divorciados eggs, which come with their homemade tortillas, and she said they were delicious. She also ordered the mimosa flight and a café de olla. The café de olla was really nice and not too sweet, also I loved the cinnamon flavor in the coffee. The place is much bigger than the other locations and decorated with cute Christmas decorations. Even the restroom was nicely decorated and very clean. Service was okay. We liked our server, but other staff kept coming by and rushing us, trying to take our plates even while we were still eating. And when I was actually done, a lady tried to grab my plate without even offering a box. I had to stop her and ask for one. They had plenty of open seats and the restaurant is huge, so I'm not sure why they were rushing us. I understand it more at the smaller locations since they get busy, but here it didn't make sense. Overall, I'll still come back because the food is great, but I really wish they wouldn't rush us when there are so many tables open. read more

I came here for dinner time for a family members birthday on a Saturday night,we had a reservation and were immediately seated. I ordered an appetizer which were Baja Tacos and they were pretty good but as soon as I tried other peoples plates I was pretty disappointed. The other appetizer I tried was the queso fundido which on the menu said it came with tortilla but we received chips (might have been an error on the menu. I also tried aguachile and I would not call this an aguachile. I would say it was more like a sweet mango ceviche (disappointed because aguachiles are usually spicy and sour). I tried my partners food (enchiladas suizas) and these did not taste authentic at all and were not good either. My waiter was super nice but I was waiting to order another glass of wine but only came back after everyone was done and we were ready to go. Our table was 7 adults and 1 child ( 3 adults only had appetizers, 3 their own plate and 2 shared) our total was around $450 which was expensive with the portion sizes and the fact that 3 of us only had appetizers. A couple of us did have drinks but not more than 1. A thing to note is that this restaurant does not have any changing tables in their bathrooms. I would not come back and would not reccomend this place especially if you are looking for authentic Mexican food. read more

Found a new breakfast spot directly across the street from another breakfast place on Fourth Street. Inside, it is Modern and cute, with lots of photo opportunities. As you can see, I took more than a few. Everything inside has lots of dark woods with lots of pops of color feels new. I got a mango mimosa, which was delicious, plus the Chilaquiles, again it was delicious. I saved my leftovers. I ate the rest for dinner, it was very flavorful. They're doing it right here. Hubby got the $20.00 burger, and with bacon of course he loved it. Our server was quick, she was very sweet, and she took great care of us. I'm thrilled we have a new delicious breakfast/Brunch with mimosas, which is very important, and they do a flight of four mimosas, which was $29. The new space is absolutley gorgeous and a photo-op galore. Trendy interior with aesthetic decor the space is definitely the kind of place that feels fresh, stylish and welcoming. Stopped by on a Tuesday night for dinner. I ordered the carnitas pizza, which was flavorful. I also had a feta salad, it was just an ok salad, kind of underwelming but it paired well with the pizza and it was presented beautifully. We tried 4 different drinks and all 4 tasted like alcohol and not just premix. Our server Leslie truly made the experience enjoyable. She was warm, attentive, and made sure we were taken care of from start to finish. She had good recommendations and sense of timing, checking in just when we needed it but never hovering. (1000/10 for Leslie.) Looking back, I was far more impressed by the service and drinks than the food itself. Only downsides to note: The website needs an update. The menu online doesn't match what's actually available, so hopefully they refresh that soon. Also, the appetizer menu is priced similarly to the entrees with options that aren't really shareable, so keep that in mind if you're planning on ordering a few things to try with a bigger group. Overall, for having just relocated and reopened, I give Aroma Cafe and Brunch a solid 8/10. The menu offerings could use some work but I'm excited to see what they roll out and offer once they've been open a few months. read more

We came on Saturday morning for a brunch. They don't take online reservations and it took us(party of 6) about 45 minutes to get a table. The decoration is so pretty and there is music in the background! We saw one of the staff members dressed as the nun (Valak) come and celebrate on the table next to us. It was such a fun experience. This newly opened restaurant is a gem in the neighborhood. My husband and I were walking down the street and this lovely lady was passing out happy hour menus to passerby's. We had originally planned to go to some Italian restaurant, but her menu looked so good that we decided we wanted some happy hour bites and drinks! We were seated at a very trendy bar, which had the best bartender! We ordered margarita pizza, sliders, and potatoes. We also got drinks: the basil peach lemon drop and pineapple daiquiri. Our drinks were excellent and you could tell the time and thought they put into each one. The flavors popped beautifully and there was definitely a good amount of alcohol in each sip! The food came out piping hot and all of it was delectable. The chef is very talented and you can clearly see how much effort he puts into dishes! The smashed potatoes were the best I've had and had lovely accents of rosemary. There were even flower petals on top to embellish the food! The pizza was tasty and had that bubbly fresh crust with big pieces of basil. The sliders were tasty too with tender meat and a big hunk of cheese in them. The bun was a tad dry- but the flavor was spot on. All of the staff were so friendly and nice. They all greeted us including the owner and cook. Shout out to Carlos and Luis for all the care! The service was 5/5! They made accommodations for us which made the night great. I really enjoyed the Mexican fusion dishes they offered. The birria pizza I ordered was freshly made in a fire oven. Love this place. So glad they opened up this second location. The staff is great and you can feel the love and good energy from the first step in the doors. It gets super busy at lunch and dinner time so there might be a wait to be seated but it's not too bad. Love the breakfasts here. Reminds me of breakfasts my mom would make when I was a kid. Definitely want to try the dinner menu. I've only had their tacos which were some of the best ones I've had (and I'm not a big taco eater). They serve fantastic Mexican and traditional American breakfast options at fair prices which is a rare find in Sonoma county. The beverage prices are high but in alignment with other establishments. The ambiance is lively but you're still able to carry a conversation with your table partners. I've only visited for breakfast and favorite item on the menu are the chilaquiles; they serve them with eggs and beans. You can upgrade and add additional protein options like steak, chicken or birria; all are delicious combinations and compliments to the dish. Since they are a busy restaurant, they serve you quickly and turn tables at a fast rate. The new establishment has seating in the main dining room, bar and a few tables on the upper floor. This place elevated in so many ways! Taste, atmosphere, service to say the least. They have expanded and moved over to a much bigger and better location. The establishment is very modern, upscale and decor is beautiful. They also have a brick oven for some fresh made pizzas, and one of favourite is the orange salsa that really goes with everything! Make sure to ask for a side of orange salsa to go with your dish. The mimosa flights are worth every dollar as the alcohol level is just right and I love the chamoy rim that's added for taste. High end breakfast experience. Cafe de olla was WONDERFUL. Food was delivered quickly despite the restaurant being very full. I saw others drinking what looked like gourmet coffee and juice drinks. Staff were very warm and welcoming. I had chilaquiles de barrea with over easy eggs which were cooked perfectly. The tortillas were fresh but could be cut with a fork. My husband shared his salsa which had pleasant heat. I'm looking forward to going back to try the carnitas pizza. It's on 4th street across from Omelet Express.
