First off the service was great and friendly, timely and clean. Zero problems with the staff. Location is not bad if you know how to navigate the town well or you can get stuck in some traffic and a lot of extra work to get back to where you are going from. Food tho... yikes The bagels and large and taste like they are made from the dough used to make Safeway white bread. With a lot of blandness. I say this after buying 6 different ones and everyone's input and my own opinion who at on them that morning. I also bought three croissants, one bear claw style with nuts, one that had generic apple pie filling in it and one that seemed to have chopped walnuts and a cinnamon butter inside: one was good but the apple one was not, it would have been better plain. The other two were not bad but they were not very decadent or special considering the cost. Plus they were only ok after we heated them in the microwave in a damp towel then air fryer. I was told they were fresh but they were not it if they were fresh they were extremely dry and stale tasting. I think calling in our order made us prey for them slipping in the old or undesirable ones. It was over $30 which is more than what we usually pay at grateful bagel and the bagels at this place are a crime. We did the drive thru. I saw the day-old rack and got one bag of bagels (6) and one box of danish (6) each for $4.50. It was an astounding amount of food for $9.00. If zero was an option i'd pick it. When i first walked in i was excited and greeted with a lovely interior, but when walking up to order i noticed something odd about the bakery case. IT WAS INFESTED WITH FRUIT FLIES. I was disgusted and so disappointed. I continued to order as i was already in line and hungry. upon ordering we felt very rushed and even allowed another person to go ahead of someone in my party. In my mind i was thinking, maybe this a display and they'll get my items from the back. Nope. It was grabbed right from the case with a dirty glove left on the counter, fruit flies touching every single bakery item in the case. Everything was handed to us cold right out of the case except for a bagel. We chose to sit at a table where we were then surrounded by the same flies with them even landing on our food. Please update your doordash menu/customization options! I really liked this place for awhile but ordering via doordash has become somewhat inconsistent as most menu items don't list EXACTLY what comes with sandwiches or how they're served. I ordered what I thought was a cold tuna sandwich today and it came grilled with cheese on it (doesn't say it comes with cheese or gives you an option to remove the cheese on the app). Luckily all of the cheese was only on half of the sandwich, I actually thought it was a grilled cheese when I opened it. I'm sensitive to cheese so I can't really eat that side unless I want to suffer later lol. Still disappointing though because it was $12 (I got a yerba mate as well) before taxes + delivery and I recieved a slightly warm soggy sandwich that has waaaay to much cheese on one side. Bummer. I really used to love this place. My mother's sandwich was cut in half and had a nice set of ingredients sans Tomato. I ordered the turkey cheese pesto with veggies. Since I eat a plant based diet I asked that to leave off the cheese and turkey and up the veggies. I asked after I saw what I was served for $7, for avocado on it. We ate breakfast here this morning, and the restaurant was FILTHY. I don't think the floors have been swept in a month, there was food scraps and crumbs on the windowsills, all the tables had crumbs, spills, and grime on them. The bathroom was pretty bad too. 2 teenagers working there were friendly, but were sitting on their phones the whole time... obviously not worried about the cleanliness of the restaurant. They might want to get a manager there before they start losing clients. If the main area (where clients see) looks that bad, it makes you wonder what the kitchen looks like. Came here for breakfast, got an egg, cheese and sausage croissant sandwich. The croissant was fine, buttery and flaky but a bit undercooked. Not as bad as Costco or Burger King croissants but they don't transport you to Paris either. Eggs were freshly cooked and they added jalapeño on request. Service was excellent and friendly. Latte was just OK. Bathrooms need some work,& they're pretty beat up in fact the women's restroom was closed. Overall one step up from fast food with many of the same options. Did this place change hands? It's not at all like how it's portrayed on their website. I went to the Rohnert Park restaurant for a mid-morning breakfast and was underwhelmed at the food after looking at the menu online ahead of time and getting excited about the prospect of a good croissant breakfast sandwich. This restaurant has an enormous menu with fairly complicated breakfast offerings, but they aren't hitting the basics, like good coffee and quality ingredients. I ordered a classic breakfast burro which was huge (bigger than what was pictured) but it was mostly filled with what seemed to be pre-packaged potatoes which had been frozen and thawed. Likewise, the coffee was unremarkable and served with plain milk, not half and half or cream. Have definitely had better. Disappointing. read more

I love this place. I get breakfast here nearly every day with my girlfriend specifically because of how nice the staff is and how great the atmosphere and food is. I dont think they serve a single bad tasting thing on their menu. The only drawbacks are the location and parking, the location is a bit obscured from the road so it's a bit difficult to get into parking. I had high hopes for the once pasta restaurant turned croissant breakfast restaurant but alas, I was a bit disappointed. To be fair I did not try any of the croissants. I did, however, order the spicy breakfast burrito and my boyfriend ordered the garden salad with a coffee. The breakfast burrito was pretty decent and I enjoyed it but the garden salad was pretty pathetic and sad looking. The energy of the restaurant was that of stressed employees/owners which seemed to have led to un-bussed tables, running outside to ask questions about people's orders, and serving a man at a table next to us the wrong sandwich even though there were only a couple people in the restaurant. They were also out of a lot of things that the woman in front of me was asking for. This place could really be something with the right management. This is my new favorite restaurant in Sebastopol. What a find! Huge portions, tiny prices, and incredibly delicious. Their croissants are unique -- much better than any Panera pastry, and ten times better than Starbucks' overpriced LaBoulange. Our very picky fresh-obsessed salad connoisseur was well-pleased. The egg-bacon-cheese croissant makes me regret every egg mcmuffin I've ever had. The staff were super-friendly. The new wood interior is gorgeous. Been to this place a number of times...some times it's better then others. The last few visits it has been painfully slow...like 30 minutes for a sandwich slow, after a 10 minute wait to order.
