I always judge Greek/Mediterranean places with their hummus, and Cafe Medi's is incredible. Their pita is the perfect texture, soft, chewy, and warm. I've had their falafel, which was pretty good, and big Greek salad, also good. I haven't had any bad experiences here and the food has always been good, but my all-time favorite place is still Yummy's in Denton. Their falafel wraps are a little more flavorful (which is what I usually order). However, if you're in this area it's definitely worth the stop! read more

This place is fairly close to work and I love coming here for an occasional lunch. Their lemon rice soup is amazing and both the Gyros and Chicken Shawerma plates are amazing! The service is mostly good but can be a little hit and miss when they are busy. I will definitely continue going back here! I hope to try the new Keller location soon as well. read more

I've only gotten take out from here, and typically get the kebbeh and the kefta kabob dinner plate. I've also had their greek salads and soups. They use fresh ingredients, and the food is never stale or sub par, at least in my experience to date. There are times when I want a greasy burger, and times when I crave something healthier. It's during those latter times that I invariably order out from Cafe Medi. Every meal I've had from their restaurant leaves me sated, feeling clean and well, and grateful that this place is so close to me. The wait staff and managers have always been kind and cordial whenever I have picked up my orders. I suspect they are the same if you dine in as well. read more

I have eaten dinner here many times with my family. We always get seated quickly and have good service. The portions are generous and the prices are great. We always order some baba ganoush to start which is my favorite part of eating here (beware you will fill up on pita bread). I usually get the veggie plate, but their grilled meats are great too. The chicken has tons of great herby flavor and is tender. The sides that come with the entrees are just okay. read more

Delightful place! It has outdoor seating which is nice (you can even bring your dog if you sit outside). Large selection of Mediterranean cuisine. The lamb is delicious and does not have a gamey flavor. The mezza platter is worth getting as their hummus and tzatziki is pretty darn good. The atmosphere is cozy and comfortable and the portions are generous. Worth going out of your way for some great Mediterranean food! read more

I've been eating. there for years and take friends there as well. Never a bad meal. Their mushroom soup is incomparable in my opinion but their soups are all great. I've tried everything on their menu and while some is not to my taste it's all very nice and well presented. Some friends like their vegetarian plate, others always order fish while still others prefer beef dishes. I prefer the lamb chop dinner. Love the food, love the menu and the prices! read more

I love this place! It has absolutely the best best hummus, baba ghanouj, and tzaziki in the area. And the lamb chops.... total yum! Everything is fresh and delightful. I am even impressed by the seafood dishes, which I usually am reluctant to even try at restaurants in the DFW area, a completely landlocked place with a great enthusiasm towards deep frying. I also love the BYOB policy. The money I save on an expensive restaurant bottle of wine gives me extra $$ for getting the mezza plate. One thing I highly recommend: don't leave without getting the coffee! Strong, screaming hot, and thick with a terrific blend of spices--it really shouldn't be missed. One word of warning: this is a tiny place and fills up quickly. Call ahead to reserve seating, and don't take my spot! read more

Everything about this restaurant was great. The portions are HUGE and two people could easily share a plate and take home left overs. Some of the best Greek food I have had in the area. It is BYOB which is nice because you can bring a bottle of wine you really enjoy. We went during the middle of July and it was 100+ degrees outside. The inside of the building was extremely hot and I think we were sweating throughout the entire meal. The air conditioning system is small and couldn't keep up. I saw the thermostat on the wall when I went to the restroom and it was reading at 83 degrees. I would recommend going here on a cool day or getting your order to go. We went there last night for the first time. I heard good things about this place from friends....they were RIGHT. If you have never had Greek food, ask the waiter what to get! My husband and I shared an appetizer and the Mixed Grilled Combo (for one) with Souvlaki Beef and Chicken and a Kefta Kabob and had leftovers and we were stuffed!!! It was fabulous! That will be a new regular place for us for our datenights. The service and atmosphere is excellent as well. read more

Another great meal! We both had chicken shwarma, always tender and flavorful. The rice and green beans (not your run-of-the-mill green beans) were great too! It was okay. Service was friendly and attentive, food was decent, and the atmosphere was light. The food, however, was pretty pricey. Hookah was 15.95 to share with 2 people. Very tasty and a fun atmosphere! We stopped in while running errands with the kiddos on Saturday afternoon. The wait staff were all courteous and good with the kids. We ordered falafel and hummus for appetizers. Very yummy! The falafel was so fluffy and light. The lightest I've ever had. My husband and I both had the shwerma, I had the combo plate and he had the salad. The meat was very well seasoned. The tazihki sauce is SO tasty! The only thing that I think would make it better is that my husband's salad, while good, didn't have much on it besides the shewarma and lettuce. It would've been nice to have some olives or cheese or something extra. We will definitely be going back though. read more

Traveling to Dallas I found this place semi close to the airport and had to stop in. Atmosphere is very well done and service was excellent. I had the Gyro Platter and Baba Ghanoush. The amount of food I got for the price warrants 5 stars, however the meal was so-so as far as flavor/taste.
