I came in about 5 on a Saturday and there was only one person there dining in. It is a small place with counter service, and I placed my order. Even though it was early, they were hustling. I saw several people come pick up takeout orders. It was very clean and the employees were nice. I ordered the beef kabab plate. It was $15.99, which I thought was a very good price, and the portions are hefty. You are definitely getting a good value here. The beef was tender, the salad was fresh, and the pita soft. I thought it could have used a bit more seasoning and the toum had a big punch of garlic on the nose, but a very tame flavor. read more

i was craving a gyro and decided to come here. The interior is spacious and when we went it wasn't crowded and there were plenty of seating available. We ended up getting two entrees, (gyro & shawarma) and an order of Tabbouleh. Out of the two, i enjoyed the gyro, but both were delicious and filling. however the star was the Tabbouleh... it was crisp and extremely refreshing. This might be one of DFW's best kept secrets. It's tucked away in a small shopping plaza off of Hall-Johnson/121 with plenty of parking available and very reasonable prices. Walk in and look at the expansive menu, which is essentially broken down into different variations of plates, kabobs, platters, and sandwiches. Order up and sit at one of the available tables/booths. What we got: Gyro sandwich contains plenty of nicely flavored gyro meat, veggies, and a warm, soft pita. We've tried the kofta kabobs, chicken shawarma, beef shawarma, and you just can't go wrong The guys running this place (or at least always at the counter/preparing the food) are always super nice and patient. Shout out to them for always maintaining a positive attitude, whether its during a chaotic day or a slow day. We did takeout- Food was some of the best Mediterranean we have found locally. Tabbouleh was overly salty but the chicken schwarma, beef kabobs and gyro meat were all great as was the hummus and dolmas. Discovered this place by accident when I offered to bring lunch to a friend who lives close by. I ordered online through the website and everything was ready and waiting when I arrived 20 minutes later. We got the beef shawarma with pita for my friend and the mixed grill platter for me. The meats all were very flavorful, and the chicken in my mixed grill had a nice char on it. The salad that comes with the platters is kind of sad--pale tomato slices with some shredded lettuce--but it's really all about the meat when you go to a place that sells gyros and kabobs. The restaurant itself is pretty tiny, with just a handful of tables and Formica (?) faux-wood booths like you see in a small pizza joint. The space was clean, though, and you can see meat roasting on spinning skewers behind the the counter. I like seeing how things are made. I got an order of Dolmas and a gyro. The gyro was pretty good! The meat could have been a bit more flavorful, but over all good. The reason I knocked stars off is the dolmas. Decided to try DFW Kabob and Gyro due to its high reviews and ratings! Unfortunately, the gyro in the wrap and the lamb kabobs were on the dryer side. We hoped the two sauces would help, however one of the two sauces heavily tasted like mayo, which we weren't too fond of. As for the sides, the fries were under seasoned, but the salad, rice and pita were fine. We also tried the baklava which was decent. I personally like the top to be a bit more crispy but I think it had just softened due to the syrup. In terms of service, the staff were friendly and the service was quick. On first glance this place looks like any other gyro shop. It even looks like they use the same pressed meat cones as everyone else. Somehow, though, they manage to use it to create a favor that's beyond what others are able to. I don't know if it's the fluffy pita, delicious tzatziki, or veggies, but gyro is fantastic. This is in a small shopping center in grapevine. It's a small shop not really decorated or stands out you know ? Just plain seating with booths , some tables , and chairs. Some of the tables were kind of dirty , but the place was clean overall. The workers were nice and greeted us as soon as we walked in. I ordered just a kofta wrap and my husband ordered the same thing but with a meal with fries and a drink. Kofta is basically ground beef shaped in like skewers and cooked with seasoning. We got our order and they gave my husband a lot of fresh cut French fries with his meal . They were yummy and had a great flavor, just needed a little salt. Of course I had to steal a couple lol. Both of our wraps were yummy. The meat had a good flavor , the wrap was crisped up on the grill and inside with the meat we had lettuce , tomatoes, and pickles with a garlic sauce. The garlic sauce really gave this a great flavor. The only thing for us it started making our wrap soggy , so next time maybe sauce on the side. The wraps were huge , I only ate a little under half of mine. We didn't finish the fries either. All in all it was a good meal and we will be back to try some different things. read more
