We were able to walk right in and get a table. Our waitress was attentive and kind even though she could work on her food placement skills as she would put our plates where they were hard to reach but nothing we couldn't fix ourselves, perhaps just needs some experience. The ambience is quiet with some music playing in the background every now and again. We had a choice to order food or go for the buffet and chose to order our own meals. The food is absolutely delicious, the garlic naan bread? Oh my goodness what a delight. The portions served are big and hot and fresh and I could keep going but I what I came here to say is... give this restaurant a shot, they will not disappoint you!

My husband ordered the grilled pork with vermicelli and I ordered the salt and pepper ribs. The food was so good my husband ate his entire meal in one sitting! My salt and pepper ribs were so flavorful with the fresh basil and spices. The garlic noodles were the perfect accompaniment. I took home half of my meal and ended up having two more small meals just so I could savor the food! The iced coffee was perfection! I ordered : Fried rice (2.5/5) - good amount of veggies, but way too greasy. Tofu bites (3/5) - crispy outside, but lacked flavor. Garlic noodles (3/5) - decent, but also on the greasy side. Mango chamoy smoothie (2.5/5) - more like a slushy than a smoothie. Overall, the food was just average. Nothing terrible, but nothing I'd go out of my way to get again. If you're into heavier, greasier dishes, you might enjoy it more than I did.

It's located in Hurst in a little strip mall that's mostly empty but you can see the concentration of business and cars in the corner on the side where this restaurant is, when we first walked in we both noticed a bit of a strange smell like I would describe as mildew and I think that's because they were running two portable air conditioner units inside so I don't think this is something that's on the regular and after we sat down neither of us noticed it again. As we walked in I also noticed That this place has a nice little cozy feel to it with some interesting decor, beautiful paintings on the wall and kind of an old school feel which I enjoy, there's an upstairs section that's pretty cool looking also where you can have private events or family style gatherings. Right off the bat the service was very friendly and attentive, we ordered two appetizers the shrimp Yakitori and an order of the pork and vegetable egg rolls both appetizers were fresh and delicious, I also had upon the servers recommendation their honey lemon ice tea which was very good. For our entrees My girlfriend ordered the spicy beef bulgogi and I ordered the spicy pork bulgogi, our food came out in a timely manner and was fresh and hot. The portion size was very good and I was happy to see the ratio of meat to vegetable was about 90% meat to 10% vegetable which is what I expect in a bulgogi. Overall I really liked this place and if I'm in Hurst I wouldn't hesitate to drop back in for some more delicious Korean food at Yori! P.s. No table grills just FYI

So, I know my sushi. The food at Okinawa was by far the best of any AYCE sushi and close to what I have had at high-end sushi bars. To top that off, the service was better than almost any restaurant I have been to; especially in AYCE sushi places. The vast majority of AYCE restaurants take forever to bring reorders. This includes both sushi and others. Our server was frindly and helpful. He couldn't have been better. The menu is awesome; especially when the evening menu is available. It offers a better selection of better, for my taste, sushi. In addition, it is one of few AYCE sushi restaurants that includes sashimi. I should mention that I wasn't as impressed with the sashimi as I was with the sushi. The fish was delicious but it was sliced way too thin. Having said that, I wish I could have given them more than five stars. They stand in the top 0.1% of AYCE sushi restaurants.

Despite being AYCE with a huge menu, it is extremely affordable at $30 per adult person. I took a photo of the menu outlining the pricing structures further. I avoided all sushi items (which obviously comprised a majority but not the entirety of the menu) but tried the: Katsu chicken: Japanese style fried chicken cutlet coated in crispy Panko, topped with katsu sauce Crispy calamari: Deep-fried calamari served with sweet chili sauce Steak hibachi: Cooked on the grill, served with veggies and fried rice I was not floored by any of the menu items, but that is to be expected as they seem to specialize in sushi items. It did the job. Other members of my party downed literally 250+ pieces of sushi sashimi. Despite us having a large party ordering so many items, service was impeccable - fast and attentive. All in all, I cannot comment on the sushi, but I appreciate that they have a vast and affordable menu. Worth a try at the very least!

He also ordered a Cali roll, which was really good. My other son ordered the Sweet and Sour Bento, and ate pretty much all of it. He said it was way better than from the place we usually order from. Alright now, this place is a gem!…read more I work with someone who raves about this place, and I finally decided to try it. Walking in, the young lady at the register was so sweet and pleasant. I had an online order and arrived a bit early, she politely let me know there would be a little wait, and I did not mind. I would, much rather wait, than walk in twenty minutes early to see my food just sitting there. It is a small space, but one that comes with warmth. What I chose: Mixed Plate Teriyaki Beef - The first bite, YES! The meat was seasoned so well, I was afraid the teriyaki sauce would overtake the flavor; it didn't. Both, the sauce and the seasoning complemented each other very well. The beef was thinly sliced and free of fat. I can't stand enjoying a bite, and out of nowhere, boom, a piece of fat. I'm not a beef person, but I'm so happy I tried something different. Hamburger Steak: I couldn't wait to try this, it's delicious! The patty is plenty and well seasoned; it isn't heavily seasoned, but well seasoned. It was juicy and not dried out, which sometimes happens. The gravy was perfect, and went perfectly with the meat patty. Next time, I will ask for more gravy and onions. I love grilled onions with meat patties. With my order, I asked for steamed veggies, but received rice instead. I don't eat rice often, but this is the one time I was happy with the mishap. I had a small bit with the gravy and patty, delicious!! Sides: Mac Salad and Rice - I didn't order rice; instead, it should have been steamed veggies. As I said above, the rice ended up being a great mishap; it was perfect with my meat patty and gravy. The mac salad, sadly, I didn't like. It wasn't horrible, it just didn't hit the right taste buds. Chocolate Mac Nut Cheesecake: I only tasted a spoonful of this, but it was good. I wouldn't get it again, for me, it was too sweet. They do have another cheesecake, which looks like a plain cheesecake, with a sauce on top. That, I will try. Spam Musubi: There seems to be more rice than what I am used to, so I cut it in half, and it made for the perfect bite. This was more than enough food; I have plenty to take to work for lunch and will have more to enjoy for dinner. I am so happy I visited. I will definitely visit periodically for a hamburger steak, and I am anxious to try their panko shrimp. Add them to your list, it is a must!!

The interior is not that of a pub anymore. It has been completely redone and the dining room is quite nice. I wouldn't call it a quiet cozy little romantic restaurant, but it could be if that's what you need. I would be willing to take my kiddos to the new restaurant, as long as the six-year-old boy is acting like a human on the day we decide to go. There is a full bar too.
