Chocolate Almond Croissant
Avery H.

The chocolate almond croissant was delicious and much larger than I was expecting. The barista delivered the latte I ordered to my corner table which was a nice, welcoming touch. Quiet calm ambiance with seat mates chatting while others did computer work. Quit small but not to crowded. Lots of front patio seating as well. Would definitely come back and try the lunch sandwiches or different flavors of French pastries. Ample street or parking lot space.

I was in the area and craving a cup of coffee, so I popped into Cafe Vendome. It instantly gave me Paris patisserie/boulangerie vibes. There a case of pastries that will make your mouth water and a separate case of French desserts that made me reminisce of my days in France. There are a ton of little tables and it would be a perfect place to meet a friend to catch chat up for coffee and chit chat. I - sadly - didn't stay; I took my coffee and croissants to-go and can't wait to dive into the flaky layers. So, I gave it 4* and am describing something more ... why? For what you get, It's really, really expensive. A coffee was $5.99 and $5+ for croissants. They claim to have important chocolates and ingredients, so maybe that's why the menu is a little spendy.

The chocolate croissants were absolutely amazing and the butter flavor is so good! We also got such amazing coffee! Ana was a very talented barista and fun to converse with! She seems very knowledgeable about coffee and I will be back!

I came first thing in the morning (8am when they open) to get a fresh croissant on a Thursday. I was let down unfortunately. I ordered the Bonjour croissant that has Gruyère cheese with scrambled eggs. It comes with potatoes or a side salad. The Croissant was barely warm and quite flavorless, as well as the eggs. There was a dash of pepper in the middle of the eggs and that was it. With tip it ended up being 20$ which I found expensive for a breakfast meal. The place itself is a cute cafe with free wifi. It offers many pastries,coffees/teas and other dishes. It was also very clean.

The lady at the front desk was so rude. I asked her if I can have my coffee in a mug please, she gave me an attitude, and said " of course if it's for here, the it's in a mug." This disgusting attitude was trying to make me feel like I'm stupid or something. She also didn't even say thank you or how are you. Overall, I won't come here again. Brewed coffee was so overpriced too, I spent $6 for the coffee where I can spend much less.

Transported back to Paris via Sandy Springs! I love nothing more than a hot cappuccino, a comfy place to set up my "work from wherever" station, and some pretty decor to enjoy the ambiance, and that's exactly what I always enjoy here at Cafe Vendome. I'm so easily distracted, it's so vital to find public workspaces that allow me to focus and be at peace without numerous distractions and love that I now have a spot to enjoy that. I was introduced to this super cute cafe by my wonderful coworker and each visit reminds me of why it's a fave of hers, and now mine! With an extensive menu that includes all sorts of caffeine imaginable and the most delicious looking pastries - everrrr. Omg, eclairs covered in rich chocolate, macarons in the colors of an Easter rainbow, and omg, the breads! I know that the super sweet cashier is so sick of hearing me ask about the pastries, see me practically drooling over the POS system but never buying any. LOL! I'm not usually a sweets girl and have usually eaten lunch by then but I SWEAR I'm going to get one next time! (To the wonderful team member who usually rings me up, I promise, sis!!) Speaking of the team, the customer service is so wonderful here and orders are quick yet fresh. You order your coffee and minutes later, they're bringing over your hot cafecito to your table with a smile! Also, whoever is controlling the music is a friend of mine. Sade, Michael Buble, and Toni Braxton? Cafe Vendome, you are a gem.

Neighborhood Parisian-themed cafe within the friendly Sandy Springs area. The owner is very thoughtful and you can see the heart he pours into the shop through his interactions with customers. Things you should know: I. PARKING There's free 2 hour parking along the street Café Vendôme is located. It can be difficult to find a spot on weekends since this area gets rather popular. II. SERVICE Very thoughtful & accommodating. The owner makes it very personable & homey. III. QUALITY I got an iced Americano. It was a little watered down for my preference, but I like my coffee very dense and acidic. Not everyone likes it as rich as me. IV. CAPACITY An available seat was always open during my stay. Quite a bit of traffic flow for a Friday morning ~ I'm very happy for the business owner.

One of my favorite breakfast is a good French breakfast so Café Vendôme in Sandy Springs was up next to check out on my breakfast list. Let me start off with the good The place is spotless and neat, the music they play is A+ and the big painted wall on the background of an outdoor Cafe of what I assume to be in France is beautiful. The staff is very friendly and the food is delicious as well. The issue I have with Cafe Vendome is the items you see pictured here, plus a chocolate croissant, almond croissant + tip was quite expensive... and I mean overly expensive. I don't mind paying for good food and a nice environment to eat my food in but it feels like they are high on cost just because of the area they are in. Because of this, although i would say I enjoyed their food, I can't say I'd go back or recommend anyone to go, unless you want to easily spend almost $100 on a few items. @ddfmariettaroswell in Roswell is still my undisputed favorite French breakfast spot Pictured here Croque Monsieur - It was tasty but their choice of bread was not my favorite. A little on the dry side Ham & Cheese Croissant - Their croissants are flaky and perfect. Very good French Toast - GREAT French toast. I think maybe it was CHALLAH bread? Baguette

Very cute cafe in Sandy Springs! After having lived in France for several years, I can 100% say this is the most authentic baguette that I have found in the Atlanta area. It tastes like it came straight from a Parisian boulangerie. The decor is cute, a little cliché but I definitely think that the food here is amazing. This is the closest you can get to an actually bakery in France without having to buy a plane ticket lol. I haven't tried all of their desserts and pastries yet but you can immediately tell by looking at them that they are trop bons. I just moved to the area so I plan to be stopping by very often :)

It's either a hit or miss. Miss in the sense that they don't always have certain things available or seem to run out of them quite a bit. Hit because the cafe has the offerings and selections it does for pastries, desserts, and other foods in the area. I like going particularly for the desserts. The kitchen closes a bit early in comparison to the actual close time of the business. Like about an hour or so. So if you are trying to get anything like an omelette or some sort of hot plate item, make sure you order it early enough. Apple Pay is accepted.

They also sell pastries like donuts, avocado toast, and croissants if you're hungry. I wish they had other alternative milks, but right now they serve dairy and oat milk only. They also have two different matchas (sweetened vs unsweetened). I think the drink itself is pretty good, kind of standard, but don't take this review to heart since I am not an oat/dairy milk drinker. The actual place is really cute and nice for hanging out with friends. There are plenty of outlets, water, wifi, and restrooms so if you need to do work you can! There are small tables and one larger table. Mellow jazz music plays in the background and there is one overhead fan so the temperature is just right. It is very much a minimalist type of atmostphere kind of gives me safari vibes because of the beige and tan accents with some greenery. Note: The matcha + oatmilk + syrup = $9.10 - they upcharge for alt. milk Overall, I think it is a fun spot to go to with friends and for a quick fun drink!

The staff I interacted with was super cool, welcoming, and had such a great vibe. Every interaction felt genuine and friendly. One thing that really stood out was when I asked for a drink that wasn't on their menu but that I had seen on their Yelp page. They had no problem making it for me and even had me try it before I left just in case I didn't like it. That kind of customer service goes a long way. We were also looking for a general late afternoon snack... small enough that we could still eat a full dinner. Paris Baguette delivered on both of these items. Overall, I was impressed with the selection of everything. I had K-dogs on the brain for some reason and the closest I could get to that was the pastry frank. My niece had the hash brown bread with ham and cheese. I definitely preferred the latter a bit more, mostly because it's rare to find potatoes served in this way. We took a variety of the mochi donuts home. They tasted a bit stale unfortunately. I'd definitely come back to try the croissants, cakes, and other offerings. Most notable was the cleanliness of the store and the amount of customers coming in and out. I was informed by a young lady at the cash register that the cake would need to be made fresh and it would take anywhere between 10 to 15 minutes to complete. I agreed to wait for the time and provided my card for the purchase and was not provided with a receipt. After 10 minutes, I re-entered the store after waiting in my car and the cake still was not completed. I waited in an additional 20 minutes for the cake. I was handed the box and left on my way. My family and I cut the cake and discovered that there was molded strawberries on top. It was slightly difficult to detect due to the fuzzy white nature of the mold and the cream that was also white in color. We immediately stopped eating the cake. With many festivities happening with our family, we reached out to Paris baguette and was provided with a phone number for the owner to follow up. We have been in correspondence back-and-forth in order to try to rectify this situation, but the response has been somewhat slow, despite the fact, there are photos of the cake and a transaction from the bank, despite not having a receipt. This is a quick situation to fix with issuing a refund and apology, but that has not happened thus far. Our family has consistently used Paris Baguette at various locations for special events and have always been satisfied with the products that we have received. More training perhaps is needed and how to handle a customer who is dissatisfied with the product and also in how to rectify situations moving forward.
