One word...fantastic! My husband and I first visited Cupanion's in 2019, when we told ourselves then that this was a hidden brunch gem. Fast forward to 2025, and the word must have gotten out! This seemingly inconspicuous little restaurant located in a shopping center is quite popular now! We came on a late Saturday morning and the line to order was out the door! They have a very efficient system where they let a few people in at a time to place their orders, and seating is on a first come first serve basis. It happened to be a lovely day outside so the wait was not a bother. Plus, we were inside in no time! I ordered an iced lavender coffee with a pancake breakfast meal as an entree: it came with two huge pancakes, a side of breakfast meat, and eggs. So simple, yet sooooo delicious. My husband got a matcha latte with a fried chicken, sweet potato biscuit sandwich and pimento cheese grits. Geeeeeeze! So good! Honestly, this place is now on my top 5 favorite brunch spots. You walk in place your order at the cash register. I've been there when there's long lines and it can get kind of crowded. We got the side of potatoes, the pancakes and a breakfast sandwich. All of it was yummy. I particularly love the pancakes and the chicken sausage. The potatoes were also delicious. Local spot for a delicious breakfast! I came here with two of my girlfriends after a very intense cycling class ready to refuel. I ordered the tomato bisque and grilled cheese with the iced Jasmine mango tea. The sandwich was so gooey and cheesy and the tomato soup was extremely thick and flavorful. Definitely made from scratch. My friends ordered the grilled chicken ciabatta and the chicken salad croissant. We also got the cheese grits to taste. My mom and I came here starving for brunch. We arrived close to 12 pm on a Saturday. It was pretty busy but luckily there were still tables available to sit either inside or outside. Menus are provided at the register which is also where you place your order. Our eyes were certainly bigger than our stomachs. For drinks we got their Strawberry matcha latte with almond milk and hot latte. I'm not sure if it was because of my night of drinking the night before but the creaminess and sweetness of the matcha was a bit too much for me to fully enjoy it. My mom tried a cup of their Soup of the day: carrot ginger and Pancake combo (blueberry, over easy egg, bacon). I got their Shakshouka with a side of root vegetable hash. The soup was tasty and hot, the touch of pepitas and coconut shreds was well executed. My mom was happy with her combo plate as the pancakes were large and fluffy. I liked my shakshouka which is certainly enough to feed two people. The side dish was also good and almost a little sweet, in a good way. Overall, we had a wonderful experience. Even though they don't have table service, the staff are constantly making rounds to clear off the tables and provide any help if warranted. Service was efficient as food all come out in under 10 minutes after ordering. Food check, service check, and cute cafe check. Such a delightful lunch place in the Fountain Oaks shopping center on Roswell Rd. My friend is a frequent flyer and always gets an egg dish off the breakfast part of the menu. What a great place to breakfast/brunch/lunch! My partner and I came on a Saturday morning and there was a huge line waiting outside and already so many people sitting both inside and outside. We were super worried everything was gonna take a really long time and also worried that we wouldn't be able to sit anywhere. But the service was top-notch. One of the staff went around to ask people where they wanted to be seated and made to sure rearrange the seats so that we would be comfortable. We ordered the salmon lox breakfast and the cowboy's eggs benedict. Everything was incredible. The braised beef in the cowboy's eggs Benedict was so soft. The only thing was, I didn't like my eggs as much that came with the smoke salmon breakfast. It was a little rubbery. Keep in mind that this is an incredibly busy restaurant with people waiting outside and sitting inside and outside. When we were there, they were also getting lots of to go orders. Cupanion's Kitchen and Coffee has a neighborhood-y, small town feel to it, but in a good and friendly way. R and I have been here three times, on Saturday mornings only, and the guy behind the counter has been professional, courteous, friendly, quick efficient and customer focused every time. During our second visit here, after we ordered at the counter and told him we were eating inside, he quickly looked around the cafe and saw that there were a couple of tables that were open but hadn't been bussed yet. He told us that he would clean off a table for us. Right after the payment was made, he immediately started cleaning one of the tables for us after telling the person behind us in line that he would be right back in about a minute. He had our table cleared and wiped down clean within a minute, took the dishes away to the back, came back to the front area, washed his hands, then went back to take another order. Cupanion's is part of a busy strip mall, and the large parking lot is free and shared by all the neighboring businesses. Fortunately, parking is always available. Customers walk past the outdoor dining area (not fenced or sectioned off) and into the cafe to get to the line at the counter to place their order at the register. After paying, the employee gives a number to place at the table so the food runners know where to serve the food. The menu items are displayed on monitors, and paper menus are available next to the queue area. The cafe was clean. It was a nice slightly cool morning, and most of the customers opted to eat outside. During our most recent visit, there were three of us. I ordered the Build-Your-Own Omelet (choice of three items) with bacon, mushrooms and onion in it, and an English muffin, butter and jelly came with the meal. R ordered a fried egg Breakfast Sandwich on a bagel, and my sister ordered the Kid's Bacon and Scrambled Egg meal. The wait for the food wasn't long, and our meals, piping hot, were served to us. All of us liked our food selections, and everything was delicious and satisfying. I highly recommend eating here; just remember that this is a laid back cafe that serves up some delicious food that's on the healthier side. Cupanion's currently is closed on Sundays and Mondays. It closes at 4pm during the week and at 3 pm on Saturdays. Cupanion's is serves breakfast and lunch, and, for those who like to eat lunch, has many types of baked items on their menu. We decided to try Cupanion's Kitchen and coffee during a weekday for breakfast. We were surprised to see it was very busy on a Tuesday. We ordered two meals and coffees. The poached eggs were perfectly prepared and the croissant sandwich tasted so fresh and the croissant was perfectly crispy! The coffees were so delicious too! The cortado was made to order with coconut milk and no sugar (my preferred way to drink it). The coffee was delicious and not bitter so it didn't require any sugar! I happened upon this place while in search of brunch on a sunny Sunday. There isn't a lot of seating, but I was lucky to snag a table as someone was leaving. There are also a few couches. This breakfast place has very good breakfast and ambiance is nice. My only complaint is that the prices are extremely high. I had a burger there for lunch with no drink and it was$25. It is a very casual place so nothing fancy which I like sometimes. Their breakfast are very good and coffee is excellent. For some reason it is very hard to find a great breakfast place in Atlanta and most serve you those little tubs of chemical cream that don't need refrigeration and call it cream but Cupanions has great cream and coffee. It seems that Sunday's are my go to days for going out to eat for breakfast. This Sunday I was trying to find a new place to try. My first choice was buttermilk kitchen. When we pulled into the parking lot it was clear the wait was long. I asked the parking attendant and he said the wait was about an hour and 20 minutes!! Of course I was ready to eat ASAP so this was not going to work. I hopped on Yelp to see what was near and ran across this spot that had great reviews. I called to see if there was a wait and I was told there was not one. The restaurant is located in the Kroger plaza off of Roswell road. It's in the lower level of the plaza. They offer both inside and outside dining options. Note that the outside options do not really offer much shade. Since it was already what felt like 1,000 degrees outside we opted to dine inside. When we arrived there was only one other patron present. However, it appears that we beat the rush. They were pretty full when we left. However, it's not a large space so it does not take many people to fill it up. We were greeted upon walking in and handed a menu. After determining what we wanted we went to the counter to place our order. I ordered the fried chicken biscuit and my beau opted for the smoked salmon breakfast. I ordered a chai latte with almond milk and he had a bottled orange juice. The bottle is $3 ca $5 for fresh squeezed. Our meal came up to roughly $40. Our meal came out in decent time. Let me dissect my meal. The fried chicken was cooked to perfection. It was crispy on the outside and juicy in the inside. It was also seasoned very well. The sweet potatoes biscuit did not impress me. It was soft, but bland in taste. . I only ate half of it. The honey butter--- sweet and salty, perfection! The side of grits had a flavor out of this world. The addition of asparagus is something I would have never thought to try. My only complaint with the grits is that they were extremely watery. I prefer thick grits. That's my fault for not asking about the consistency of them. My beau said he enjoyed his meal. Honestly I was so satisfied with mine I did not bother trying his. Touch situation here..... I'm torn between keeping this awesome spot to myself or Yelp away so of course I have to let everyone know! Guys, I kid you not, the best little spot for breakfast, cafe, snack, yummy treat, chill, and enjoy locale. So, I call before going anywhere now cuz, that's the new norm for now. The girl who answered the phone was VERY professional and answered exactly and only what I wanted to know. I was like "aw she was so profesh, she must be the owner or something". She let us know everything on the website was updated as to what they have currently available. Perfect! We pop in, the hub and I. Everyone has masks on and Purell available (thank you). Empty seating inside and some outside seats too. The guy wearing the Blue mask was super friendly, focused, and attentive. We ordered the avocado toast, pancakes, and eggs/bacon on the side. Now, I saw the pics online and they looked really good but I'd never been here before and didn't have any idea what to really expect. The food coming out of this little cafe was not only amazing looking but very good. My toast was a whole plateful and kept me full for so many hours which is rare. Kudos to the chef. My friend was in town and we wanted to go to a brunch, with good food, nature and low key energy. I'm not sure which one of us found this, but the mini water fountain in the courtyard was one of the points that sold us. Every food item we had was fresh, delightful and solid portions.
