    Pancake breakfast meal

One word...fantastic! My husband and I first visited Cupanion's in 2019, when we told ourselves then that this was a hidden brunch gem. Fast forward to 2025, and the word must have gotten out! This seemingly inconspicuous little restaurant located in a shopping center is quite popular now! We came on a late Saturday morning and the line to order was out the door! They have a very efficient system where they let a few people in at a time to place their orders, and seating is on a first come first serve basis. It happened to be a lovely day outside so the wait was not a bother. Plus, we were inside in no time! I ordered an iced lavender coffee with a pancake breakfast meal as an entree: it came with two huge pancakes, a side of breakfast meat, and eggs. So simple, yet sooooo delicious. My husband got a matcha latte with a fried chicken, sweet potato biscuit sandwich and pimento cheese grits. Geeeeeeze! So good! Honestly, this place is now on my top 5 favorite brunch spots. Food is delicious, service is impeccable, and the atmosphere is perfect when you want a low key, vibe.

Food came out hot and tasted very fresh. It was all delicious! I got the breakfast burrito with turkey bacon and the tortilla was perfectly toasted and the cheese was melted evenly throughout. My husband got the pancake combo with chicken sausage and eggs sunny side up. His was also very good. Pancakes were fantastic with the honey butter and syrup. I also got the shaken iced bon bon coffee and it was creamy and the right amount of sweet without it overpowering the flavor of the coffee.

This place screams casual summer brunch vibes. I really had a good time here with my friends. They have a huge parking lot. We didn't have a long waiting time, even though this place was super busy on a Saturday morning. I got the egg Shakshuka, my friend got the avocado toast. Both were really good. The eggs are definitely delicious but not pasture raised. The food arrived soon. I got the hibiscus tea, it was refreshing.

Wanted somewhere cute and local for breakfast with the hops of not running into a chain. This place was highly recommended. Everything was cooked to temperature came out quickly with as busy as it was. The sweet potato biscuit was so yummy! Cheese grits were a miss....the cheese was just plopped into the bowl of already made grits. I feel like maybe if it cooked with the grits maybe the flavor would have been more than just smashed with cheese. The has was great. Lots of fresh veggies and the most perfectly cut avocado ever.

Local spot for a delicious breakfast! I came here with two of my girlfriends after a very intense cycling class ready to refuel. I ordered the tomato bisque and grilled cheese with the iced Jasmine mango tea. The sandwich was so gooey and cheesy and the tomato soup was extremely thick and flavorful. Definitely made from scratch. My friends ordered the grilled chicken ciabatta and the chicken salad croissant. We also got the cheese grits to taste. Everything was delicious but my favorite was my friends grilled chicken ciabatta sandwich. We did not have to wait on a table after ordering even though it was a busy Saturday morning.

Butternut squash hash with eggs over easy and turkey bacon with wheat toast. Excellent breakfast. Thank you Rob (owner)!

When I come to Atlanta I frequently find myself here craving a coffee fix. Normally I'm obsessed with the bon bon coffee, but today I went rogue and don't regret it one bit. When I was asked for the size on a specialty coffee I went medium?!? I don't know how many sizes were options, but this is a nice large sized coffee.

Not Impressed I visited recently, hoping for a little something to hold be over until dinner - ordering a sandwich and tea. But the food and service left quite a bit to be desired. The host that took my order was dressed in a wrinkled, stained tee, seats and crocs. Where has the professional attire gone? Certainly, a laid back establishment is right up my alley, but this? No thank you Unfortunately, the food / plating was rather uninspired. I didn't finish my sandwich and decided to cut my losses in time, took my tea, and departed. It's truly sad to have a dining experience like this. Maybe it simply wasn't the day to visit. Then again, how can one be assured that this isn't the norm?

My mom and I came here starving for brunch. We arrived close to 12 pm on a Saturday. It was pretty busy but luckily there were still tables available to sit either inside or outside. Menus are provided at the register which is also where you place your order. Our eyes were certainly bigger than our stomachs. For drinks we got their Strawberry matcha latte with almond milk and hot latte. I'm not sure if it was because of my night of drinking the night before but the creaminess and sweetness of the matcha was a bit too much for me to fully enjoy it. My mom tried a cup of their Soup of the day: carrot ginger and Pancake combo (blueberry, over easy egg, bacon). I got their Shakshouka with a side of root vegetable hash. The soup was tasty and hot, the touch of pepitas and coconut shreds was well executed. My mom was happy with her combo plate as the pancakes were large and fluffy. I liked my shakshouka which is certainly enough to feed two people. The side dish was also good and almost a little sweet, in a good way. Overall, we had a wonderful experience. Even though they don't have table service, the staff are constantly making rounds to clear off the tables and provide any help if warranted. Service was efficient as food all come out in under 10 minutes after ordering. Food check, service check, and cute cafe check. I would definitely come again and try more items from their menu.

My favorite pancake and coffee spot! Food is always good, service is great! It can be very busy at times now that the secret is out so kind of hard to sit especially if it's cold outside (inside is small) but it's always worth the try to swing by and grab food

That said, the aesthetic feels less Buckingham Palace and more whimsical London antique shop -- charming & eclectic. I ordered the blueberry lavender matcha and a breakfast plate. The menu names were definitely on brand, but not quite catchy enough for me to remember them later. Both were solid, though, and hit the spot. Service was a highlight. The cashier really leaned into the accent and took the time to thoroughly explain the menu, which made the whole experience feel more immersive and welcoming. Parking was easy on an early weekday afternoon -- always a win. The space works well for small parties, but be prepared: tables are small and seating is close together. One tip: avoid sitting upstairs in Eden. It's noticeably warmer than the rest of the restaurant, and you'll likely leave smelling like breakfast. Overall, a fun, themed spot with great service. But I don't think I'll be back.

I sat at the counter cuz I was flying solo and had nice conversations with those next to me. The way the entire building is decorated is completely eye candy and as satisfying as the food. If you like crazy loopy, different kind of stuff. There's a specific coffee shop and small gift shop in the back with social & environmental conscious products. Even have a film development drop off that I guess locals take advantage of cuz where do you go for that anymore other than some kind of chain pharmacy?. I took pictures for my posting but also for myself to consider coming back and shopping another time. Several of the magnets and signs I would love to own. The food is plentiful and flavorful. I had the daily special of Georgia fresh shrimp sauteed on top of homemade sourdough that had a little bit of a French toast crispy to it, topped with roasted tomatoes and spinach and thin crispy onions that were well seasoned. Most the time for lunch you just hope for something that taste good and this was beyond my wildest dreams of what I was going to eat for lunch today. And it was only $10. The burgers, the fried chicken, the fried shrimp, everything was looking so yummy. I totally have to come back. I don't think we knew what we were getting ourselves into, but I'm glad we made the decision to come here. Homegrown provides great food and coffee with indoor and outdoor seating great art and a "cozy" (read: crowded) feel. Food: 5/5 The food here was amazing. I just got the standard breakfast with eggs, bacon, toast, and orange juice but those around me had other meals like scrambles and omelettes that smelled amazing. I'm also a big fan of grits was able to taste some from my friend's plate. Service: 4/5 In terms of the food service, our server was extremely nice, but a couple of people in my party had things wrong with their order. We did have a large group though, so I won't put too much stock into that. Ambience: 4/5 When I say this place is crowded, I mean this place is crowded. I won't hold that against them, it's really a testament to how popular their restaurant is with that said, I really do wish they had more seating available. We went during the tail end of the summer, so it was extremely hot outside and eating breakfast out. The wait for a table was well over 30 minutes, so there was no way we were going to also eat our food outside. It was just not feasible without heat stroke. For context we live in the Pacific Northwest. What made up for this was the coffee shop that was connected to the building in the back that served amazing iced coffee to cool us down. Conclusion All in all, I give this place a solid, 4 out of 5 would recommend. Just be prepared to wait if you have more than three people in your party, and try to come early :-)
