Recently renovated and reopened, The Coffee House looks a lot more modern, sleek and welcoming. This business is family owned and operated on the ground floor of the 2002 Building at Perimeter Summit. Their main focuses are selling coffee-related items, limited varieties of smoothies, limited types of baked goods, bottled and canned beverages and packaged snacks. They are open to all customers only during the weekdays and they close in the early afternoon. Their prices are very reasonable. I live right across the street from The Coffee House and hadn't returned until earlier this week, when R and I walked over in the morning to get something light to eat and drink. There were eight customers seated, and three other customers in line at the counter waiting to place their orders with the two employees behind the counter. The younger employee, who was all business with no time for being warm and welcoming, was efficient. Near the order counter were three high top tables, each with four tall stools, and, in a corner away from the tables, were some stuffed chairs, some modern wooden chairs, and a loveseat, with some side tables in between. Lots of natural light stream through the floor to ceiling windows, with many light fixtures providing even more light. There are tables outside, some of them with large umbrellas providing shade. R and I sat in the corner on some comfy chairs, waiting for our order to be fulfilled. After about 10 minutes, R picked up my hot chai tea latte and a cheese danish, and his vanilla latte and cranberry scone, and brought them back to where I was sitting. We both thought our lattes and baked goods were very flavorful and delicious. We will definitely be going back.

Located on the first floor of the 2002 building in Perimeter Center, The Coffee House isn't immediately noticeable. There is a deli counter to the left when walking in the front door, so head to the right if you need that caffeine fix. They have all the options you need - hot and cold coffees & teas, smoothies, bagels, muffins, snacks, plus normal "convenience store" goods. The coffee is Seattle's Best and, at least the iced coffee I tried, was good. I'd like to see them use local beans but it sure beats the free hotel room coffee.

I was super excited to finally get a REAL coffee shop in the neighborhood, especially since I have loved their Alpharetta location since 2020. Since then, I've been back a few times to meet friends for a cup of coffee or grab a bag of whole beans to go to make my own espresso at home! It's not the cheapest bag of beans but it's definitely freshly roasted and good quality! I love their seasonal bevs - I've tried their fall drinks like the Tokyo Drift (Applewood smoked cortado, orange blossom syrup, freshly grated nutmeg, orange peel) and the Spice is Right (Iced, spicy, creamy, coffee cocktail vibe with cold brew, hot honey syrup, vanilla bean and milk). You can easily sub out alternate milks, even on the seasonal specialty drinks. I appreciate the themes and play on the seasons. And also just simple but delicious drinks like the Nitro Lavender Vanilla Oat Latte. The seating can be a huge issue. I seem to always stumble in during peak, maybe? There seems to be plenty of space but no seating/tables. Many tables for 2 or 4 would be taken by 1-2 people studying/working all day, which is understandable but still frustrating. There is some outdoor seating (dog friendly, woohoo!) but is extremely vulnerable to the elements. Overall, I'm grateful for more local and noncommercial coffee shops in Dunwoody! Bring em on!!

Doesn't give cozy coffee shop, but more like young hipster cute industrial chic? Wouldn't recommend for studying or serious work, but good to catch up with a friend. It was fairly crowded and the inside was chatty on a Saturday afternoon. When I arrived there was a line, and I waited about 12-15 minutes before I could order. I ordered a chai latte and it was fine but.. and can't believe I'm saying this, but it was a bit too spicy. I never opened the cup but wondered how much milk was used because the spice was really overpowering. Not in a way that made me need a cup of cold milk, but in a way that made it taste really unbalanced, so I didn't like it too much. But I drank it because it was like 8 dollars and I didn't feel like waiting again to get something else.

Even though there were plenty of places at the mall to grab coffee and food right across from my hotel, I kept finding myself coming back here day after day during my stay. The staff I interacted with was super cool, welcoming, and had such a great vibe. Every interaction felt genuine and friendly. One thing that really stood out was when I asked for a drink that wasn't on their menu but that I had seen on their Yelp page. They had no problem making it for me and even had me try it before I left just in case I didn't like it. That kind of customer service goes a long way. The drinks were great, the atmosphere was chill, and the overall vibe made me feel comfortable every time I walked in. Whenever I'm back in Atlanta, Cafe Comma will definitely be one of my first stops. Thanks for the excellent hospitality

Everything was good, as was the service and ambiance. This is a fun and neat concept - unique to Atlanta - located in the High Street mixed-use development in Dunwoody/Perimeter. Cuddlefish originally opened in the old Brush Sushi space in Decatur in November 2022. Cuddlefish moved and opened in Dunwoody in March 2025. (Brush moved and opened in Buckhead in August 2023.) Cuddlefish is from the same Michelin-starred, award-winning folks behind Brush, Lucky Star, Momonoki, etc. (Jason Liang, ChingYao Wang, John Chen). Cuddlefish is on OpenTable, so you can book reservations there and earn points. Free parking is available in one of High Street's garages. The best place to park is in the garage that's in the same building as Cuddlefish. Enter the garage via Cross St. After parking, there's a convenient walkway that leads out of the garage that's only a couple storefronts away from Cuddlefish. The restaurant has a nice corner spot at High Street. Outside, there's a spacious covered patio. Inside, the temaki bar, dining room, and bakery-cafe all share a modern, open space. The bakery-cafe is small. We had a party of five, including a baby. Here's what my wife and I had: RESTAURANT: Sake Creations * Matcha Saketini sake cocktail ($14) Other Drinks * Yuzu Lychee Mocktail (off-menu, on the house; thank you!) Starters * Sweet Potato Chips ($6) - plum seasoning * Garlic Black Pepper Edamame ($7) * Crispy Tofu ($10) - Sichuan peppercorn, soy garlic, scallion Temaki * Chili Avocado ($7) - chili ponzu, chili paste, negi * Truffle Shiitake ($8) * Shrimp Katsu ($9) - pineapple, cantaloupe * Real Crab California ($9) - chili aioli * Salmon Tataki, cooked ($8) - Asian pear, shallot ponzu, negi * Yellowtail & Salsa ($8) - jalapeno cilantro, fried leeks * Salmon Tataki, regular ($8) - Asian pear, shallot ponzu, negi, ikura * Toro Uni Ikura ($25) * Salmon Ikura ($9) * Hokkaido Uni ($25) BAKERY-CAFE: * Matcha Tiramisu Latte ($7) - iced, oat milk * Matcha Strawberry Croissant Cup ($7) * Matcha Chocolate Cookie ($5) My wife and I each had five temaki plus apps. That was enough to fill us up for a meal. I probably could've had one or two more temaki. In general, every item was well-made and delicious. All of the temaki were great and all of the ingredients were fresh. The presentation was beautiful. My favorite temaki were the Toro Uni Ikura, Salmon Ikura, and Hokkaido Uni. My wife is pregnant, so they accommodated her with a free mocktail, cooking the salmon and excluding the ikura on her Salmon Tataki temaki. We appreciated that. Our table gobbled everything up. The Matcha Saketini was thick and heavy on the matcha. We did find it cumbersome to remove two strips of plastic for each temaki, but we understand why they do it (to keep the seaweed crisp). Sometimes, some of the ingredients would slide off with the plastic wrap, which was not ideal. I heard that if you sit at the bar, you don't have to deal with the plastic wrap (e.g., if you do a temaki tasting). The treats from the bakery-cafe were yummy. Service was excellent. All of the staff was polite and friendly. Thank you, Sian, Etta, and the Asian guy with glasses whose name I did not get. The name "Cuddlefish" is a play on cuttlefish, which is similar to a squid. Growing up, I ate dried cuttlefish from Thailand as a snack.
