Beautifl ambiance and delicious food. Changed it's address. It is now still on main street. Just half mile pass the 28n before Betsy park drive. service was great!

First and foremost, I want to like Stevarino's I do want to spend money in my chosen hometown, but…read moreit's often difficult. We waited to give Stevarino's a second opportunity. Because the last one did not go well either. Even accounting for the slower life we are pursuing in our retirement community of choice, we don't have one hour and four minutes to wait on a pizza. Or 54 minutes to wait on a simple spaghetti and meatballs. Or seven minutes standing at the front desk with no one coming by to see you at the "please wait to be seated" podium. I'm older now, I don't have that kind of time to waste. The food was "OK". The spaghetti and meatballs (substituted sausage, maybe this required a trip to Italy") was lukewarm. It tasted OK. My pizza was basically loose and drippy in the center. Not from cheese, from being poorly cooked. Again, there was nothing special about the taste. Lastly, I had to send the first pizza serving tray back to be cleaned. I don't know if it's too little staff, too little caring, too little organization, too little training. It all adds up to a memorable experience for the wrong reasons. It is a very nice place when it comes to decor and such. Even a nice big lighted Christmas display for folks to use as a photo backdrop. Hopefully the ownership will take this review to heart and not blame it on "being too busy" (that sure wasn't the case" or "fussy clientele". It sure wasn't that either.

We decided to take a chance on Big Bad Breakfast during the Cornbread Festival and man, am I glad…read morewe did! I was a little hesitant since we were in a new town and everything was packed, but this place totally delivered. The omelet was fluffy and packed with flavor, and the French toast... well, I wasn't expecting it to be deep fried but holy cow it worked. Crispy on the outside, soft and sweet inside, and absolutely addictive. The service was quick and friendly even with the festival crowds, and the vibe inside is fun and casual exactly what you want for breakfast. Portions are generous too, so we left stuffed and happy. If you're in the area, definitely stop by. We even walked over to the Lodge Museum afterward and made a whole morning out of it.

We were visiting Chattanooga and thought it would be fun to check out the Lodge Cast Iron Museum,…read moreso naturally we ate at Big Bad Breakfast while there. It was a random weekday morning, so it was really quiet. Our waitress was super nice and attentive. It's a casual place, with lots of tv's. I had a hard time choosing between the Yard Work Skillet and the Cornbread Omelet, but I figured where else would I find a cornbread omelet? It was SO yummy. I got the bacon on the side because I don't eat it, but there was a lovely amount of veggies and just the right amount of cheese. The cornbread eggs had such an interesting flavor. I got the cheese grits on the side which were a little spicy and deliciously creamy. My gf got a breakfast plate and thought it was good. The crispy hash cake was ok but a little dense. I ended up eating her biscuit the next day and it was really good.

I asked the lady at a store I was at how the food was here and she said it was "hit or miss" but…read moresince it was 5:30 it would probably be OK. I walked in and was greeted and seated almost immediatley. My drink order was taken but there was not much service after that, fill the drink and take old plates away. So that was fine. The food was probably as good as it can get for a buffet. Most items were very fresh and of good quality. The gyoza was hard so I did not try that and the egg rolls were just basic cabbage, not any other vegatables or meat. There were 5 bars so I did not have any trouble finding good things to eat. The sushi was minimal and pretty basic but the hibachi bar was loaded with a lot of fresh good items including steak. As far as a buffet goes this is pretty good. It isn't the quality you would get at a family style chinese restraunt but that shouldnn't be what you expect here either. I would go back if I were in the area again.

Five rows of food trays carried a variety of Chinese items Plus, there's a hibachi grill where you can have your own recipe prepared. Well made sushi (sashimi and nigiri) were available along with American dishes like fried cheese sticks, chicken wings, salad, and peel and eat shrimp. Fresh was a key word here as many food trays were kept well stocked with new food. Staff circulated through the restaurant regularly, refilling drink glasses and removing food plates. The interior was dated, but clean and well maintained.
