Got seated promptly, had to wait a few minutes for the waitress. They only had the brunch menu available until 3 and we got there at 2. The waitress was a sweet heart on let me wife order the Chicken fried Chicken and I ordered the filet. We also got the nachos for an appetizer. We got the nachos but we had to send them back. The chips were burnt and hard to eat. When our server came over, she immediately shook her head and took them away. She was not happy with what the kitchen sent out. We got our second serving of nachos and they were done properly. They were good but the chips were a little thick and chewy but still good. The manager even came over and apologized for the first batch of nachos, class act! I will say that if you order the nachos, at least have 4 people in your party, it's a large portion. Was a little surprised when the table of 7 that came in about 10 minutes after us got there food while we were still waiting. Our food came and was worth the wait. My filet was cooked perfectly and was so tender that I could cut it with a fork. The mashed potatoes and asparagus were also delicious. The wife's Chicken fried chicken was also very good. The food was worth the wait. The restaurant also comped us a dessert for our anniversary. The view was beautiful and the restaurant was very clean and friendly. Will definitely come back.

Absolutely stunning view. I would be happy to just sit out and stare at the view forever. We started with the jalepeno popper special and they were absolutely delicious. I could have eaten a whole order as my meal! The chicken sandwich was tasty and well seasoned, as were the pinto beans. The corn bread was a bit dry and bland for me but I didn't mind. The burgers were huge and everything came out quickly and tasted great.

We decided to try Top of the Rock in Kimball on kind of a whim and man, I'm so glad we did! The view from up there is absolutely stunning, you can see for miles and it just takes your breath away, especially around sunset. The food was legit delicious too. Everything we ordered came out hot and tasted fresh, not like some tourist trap stuff. Our server Rosa was awesome, she super friendly, checked on us without hovering, and had recommendations ready when we asked. She really made the whole experience feel personal. If you're anywhere near the area, definitely swing by this place. We'll be back next time we're passing through for sure!

We had a great time here enjoying some good food and the amazing view. Our waitress was excellent as well, make the whole experience great. I didn't love our table because most of our view was obstructed, but it was still nice. We started with the spinach and artichoke dip, which was really good. I've never had it served in a bread bowl before so that was a fun take on dish. For my entree, I opted for the steakhouse burger and decided to make it double. I asked for it rare and it came out well done, not a big deal cause it still had some juiciness left to it. The fries were decent and the ranch was only okay. We drove from South Nashville, so I'm not sure we'd do it again but maybe if we were in the area.

Absolutely stunning views, that is what you come for. Casual dining - I recommend a reservation. Indoor and outdoor seating Quick service and got seated right away w reservation slot. (Did not get food pictures sorry) We ordered the nachos: huge portion, more chips than toppings. Would've liked a more flavorful queso ours seemed watery. We ordered the onion burger Oktoberfest special - fantastic flavor. Served with fries - yummy. Overall, you come for the great views and company. Would love to come back and try brunch!

This was a beautiful lunch spot. The outdoor seating and view were absolutely breathtaking. Service was prompt and extremely friendly. I beleive our servers name was Jack and he was attentive and made sure we had drinks and our food was satisfactory. The wings were deliciously tender and moist and we chose the maple bourbon flavor. I do wish they used a tiny bit more of the sauce. I opted for the strawberry harvest salad it was the perfect refreshing lunch portion. My boyfriend ordered their steak frites. Omg the fries were delicious so crisp and well seasoned. The steak was amazing as well cooked to perfection. Parking is very limited so definitely get there before the lunch rush.

Can't beat the view, even on an overcast day. And it was perfect fall weather to sit on the covered patio. The food is good. My tuna salad plate was a bit overpriced for what it was. Everything else, though high is probably comparable to other places with similar food. Waitress was nice and kept up with our drinks. Duck fat fries, steak tacos, and nachos (humongous) were all yummy.

Fabulous spot with a great view, good food and nice service. We ordered the spinach dip which was amazing with the bread it came with and duck fat fries which were also delicious. Our table ordered the elk burger, chicken sandwich and pasta. Elk burger was nothing to rave about, just a normal burger that could've used a pickle or vegetable or two. Chicken sandwich looked amazing and the pasta which was presented well, lacked some flavor. The beers were nice, we got the seasonal along with a couple flights to try them all out. The view made it all worthwhile.

The service was professional, welcoming and friendly. The food was delicious and the cocktails were incredible. We sat outside to admire the amazing view! Will definitely be back.

Service extremely slow, they are very busy. We came in about 12:50 got food food about 1:30. Others at our table food was super salty but okay. Pretty views. Would give another try more for the atmosphere.

I stop everytime I head down south from Nashville, usually working in the side room for half the day so I can avoid rush hour in Nashville. From a beer standpoint, this is one of the top breweries in Tennessee. They are well known nationally, as well. The building is a warehouse looking structure on the outside, but they have nicely decorated the tap room. Ample seating both inside and out and they have bands on some weekends. I have tried the flatbreads, a couple of sandwiches, and the Dinosaur wings (only kidding, but they are the largest chicken wings they can buy, so ample sized). I prefer the wings most of the time - except their rendition of Nashville Hot - but this time opted for a meatball sandwich. If you are trying to be an Italian food afficianado, this might not be in, but the sauce works well with these meatballs and there is ample cheese. As one normally focusing on Keto, adding a fork meant I could eat the kibbles and bits and leave the bun. Two thumbs up. As for the beer, they have some of the best IPAs and I finally tried the porter this go around. Many of their beers are rated above 4.0 on untappd and it is not just a local bump kind of thing. The brewery, as a whole, is 3.92 and also well deserved. To my normal "Will I be back" question, I think the answer is already clear. I do return almost every time I pass by.

Walking in , you could see a long bar that you could sit at or just order food at in a designated area and seat yourself around the place. We chose to set up the bar, of course. It kind of ended up being a bad idea because people had no idea about personal boundaries and being in other people's face while they're enjoying their beers and they are standing around ordering food and reaching over you. Ben and I even switch seats, because he is worried about his personal space then I am. Most of the food that was on the menu was barbecue driven but since I had just had poke, I was not hungry. The servers were very friendly when we were ordering and checked in on us often I just wish that they would have kept the line in a more orderly fashion since there was a designated area for ordering specifically.

So, as I was told by the staff, the restaurant portion has been spun off and sold from the brewery itself, so this is my first visit for food, since that has transpired. It is now known as "BUDS & BREWS CHATTANOOGA", part of a larger group out of Nashville, I was told. The bar/brewery looks the same, there is the same helpful staff, but in all honesty, the food just isn't as good. The pulled pork, was okay at best, the fried onion rings, just too greasy, and the chicken wings, just too dry. When first opened NR was the first microbrewery to prepare and offer their own food, and the bbq was stellar, but I cannot make that same statement today. Brews are still good, but if need a good microbrewery in Chattanooga that can offer you good food to go along with that cold one, my recommendation is either Oddstory or Five Wits. I'll continue to come to NR for a beer, as their Moonpie Stout is absolutely one of the best beers you can find in Chattanooga, but like I said if I am hungry too, this will no longer be one of my primary spots to consider.

It was a little chilly, but not quite "Ohio" chilly so we sat ourselves outside with a couple of hazy IPA aka Juice Bombs from Sloop Brewery. This brew pub is sandwiched between brick buildings: Stacks, a burger pub, on the right and another commercial building on the left. Across the street is the Police, so be warned, and don't get too funky. We asked if they had food and said no but it was ok to get some take out and eat it at their table or order from Stacks (what we did) and they bring it to your table from next door. Even better. Stacks' mushroom burger and stack cheese burger were very good too. We washed those down with another set of local IPAs called Southeast by Tailgate Brewery in Nashville, TN, also very good. Some of the tables have heating lamps which would have been nice as it got chillier. Not ours. But no sweat. This place does occasionally make their own beer as well but it's primarily a brew pub which sells other beer and canned beer from all over. I'm glad we had a chance to come. Now for the drive home. Thankfully we are less than 2 hours away. Atlanta here we come!

Parking in their main lot is pretty tight, but we didn't have much trouble finding street parking close by. The absolute standout here is the staff; they were incredibly friendly and completely johnny on the spot with getting our drinks out. We had our dog with us and quickly learned that pets aren't allowed inside or even on the regular inside patio, but they do have a small dedicated picnic table area out to the left for people with dogs. The staff was even nice enough to bring out a water dish for him, which was a really great touch. As for the food, you definitely get a plentiful amount for what you pay. We ordered the sampler platter--which comes with a massive pretzel, three little brats on buns, and kraut balls--as well as the Jager Schnitzel with sides of potato salad and spaetzle. The pretzel platter and the spaetzle were good, and the whole place has an awesome atmosphere that makes you want to hang out. I'd still absolutely recommend checking it out, just keep an eye on a couple of the food details. Cons: The jager dressing wasn't heated up enough, causing it to congeal on top of the pork loin and throw off the flavor, so it had to be scraped off. Also, the potato salad missed the mark completely--the potatoes were vastly undercooked, giving them a raw texture, and they were a dark color instead of a normal opaque white, showing that the potatoes used were going bad. Thumbs up / Thumbs down: Thumbs up (I would still go back for the great atmosphere and service).
