We came here for wings and they did not disappoint. We got lemon pepper hot and spicy garlic parm. May have ordered too many but that's ok the prices are good. The Jalepeno cheese app are so yummy. I feel compelled to add this note to my previous review. Although the kitchen efficiency needs addressing, I must commend Jefferson's for some things. The location is amazing! Very convenient with an awesome view. I appreciate the way Jefferson's outfits its stores with local high school team regalia. I'm sure it makes the locals feel right at home, and it's interesting to folks passing through. The restaurant was squeaky clean, including the restrooms. Finally, to be fair, their signature item appeared to be "Double Dipped Wings", which I did not try. read more

Since it's a restaurant, let's start with the food. My son and I both had the wraps, buffalo chicken and southwest, respectively. They were delicious with fries and tater tots. Here's what stood out though. We come through frequently as we have a Sewanee athlete. Kimball is convenient to campus. We stayed in October and had Beth as our server. She was warm, friendly, and attentive. She was our server again four months later and remembered us! She even remembered our order! Everything was great. The all beef dogs with fries were delicious. My server Sarah was just an absolute delight. She was very attentive and kept my drink full. As I travel from point A to point B I like to try out "new to me" places to eat. I like the home town one of a kind or small local chain type. Jefferson's did not let me down. It's a steep driveway to get in the place but it's good for working up the appetite. Don't be intimidated. Samara made the experience great. She was very patient when it came to choosing a local brewery beer. She checked on us often to make sure everything was ok. As a matter of fact the whole staff did the same. Loved the service. Waitress was very friendly & helpful with idea of what we would like to eat. Food was very good tasting.

We were staying at the Hampton Inn right off the interstate and the front desk recommended this place for a nearby option. We had a good server and several people who checked on us. Food was very good (BBQ chicken mac and cheese, 2 salads, and a burger for the 4 of us). The parking lot may need some attention soon and the beer selection was pretty limited but I'd go back and would recommend. read more

I've been back and forth to this area for over 39 years and had never tried this place, so I thought I'd give it a shot. The place was nice, with several big screen tvs everywhere and we were seated quickly. So the atmosphere was nice, and we chose to sit on the deck. After we cleaned our own tables, the first waiter took our order, a second waiter served the meal, and a third staff member provided the bill. Service was a little confusing. The brunch burger with hot tater tots was delightful. Egg was well seasoned and cooked just right. The burger was juicy and my bun was quickly soaked and soggy in a good way. Being a fan of Jefferson's in Murfreesboro when we see a location we like to stop and try. This stop wasn't anywhere near my expectations. I loved the concept they had a huge outside deck. But everything kind of stopped there... Food took along time, when I say long time I'm talking every bite of an hour after ordering. Than the wings were cold and rubbery. Just thankful we got our food we endured it. At least it was cooked. Very disappointed in this location and for sure won't be back. My fourth time here, never any hand soap in the men's restroom and sometimes no paper towels. Service is GARBAGE! The servers are not attentive and the manager Michelle argued with me over my wings! I ordered a 20 piece bone in half spicy garlic parm and half angry ranch. I received only spicy garlic and the other half was plain. I sent the wings back and they dipped the plain wings and the garlic parm wings in angry ranch! Then the manager argued with me that the garlic parm now dipped in angry ranch is still only garlic parm! They are all coated with angry ranch and she was trying to gaslight me! Service was laughable with the manager telling us the chef got angry and walked out the back door and did not return, causing our dinner order to be deleted. We ordered takeout from here while visiting the area. The food was very good. It was late on a Sunday night. We tried to call in an order, but there was a phone issue. We had a variety of appetizers, sandwiches, and wings (wings were exceptional!!!). All of the food was good. The best part of our experience, though, was Brenda! I love this location and I love it even more when our favorite waitress/bartender is working!! Brenda always goes above and beyond to give me and my family wonderful customer service and never misses a beat!! From making sure our to go orders aren't missing a single thing (including plasticware and requested sauces) to being more than patient with our children who can sometimes be a challenge with our youngest having autism. She brought her coloring sheets and markers to help calm her once and truly set the standard for what customer service should look like. Even beyond my family and myself, I am an observer and I see her giving this same great service to every table she encounters or customer she greets! Service and the food was a struggle when we were there. That could be because it was being run by teenagers. I am certainly not blaming them because they just don't have the experience or sense of urgency to run a restaurant properly. My wrap was good as were the fries. My husband's wings were not so good and barely had any sauce on them. They weren't super busy but it was a little loud (although you could still easily carry on a conversation). My new go to place on the way to or from Chattanooga. Great Burger. Server, Danae, was great. Lots of TVs. I will be back as much as possible. Highly recommend. Only reason I didn't give them a 5 was that the server sat us in the corner where I had to stare at the kitchen door, supply room door (I saw those unmentionables in there), and the ladies bathroom. The wings and buffalo shrimp were very very good. Slaw, fried mushrooms, and onion rings were good. Drinks were refilled promptly. Tall glasses. Wait staff very nice. Caesar salad was not good. It came to us without any dressing that we could see or taste. The waitress brought us a half of a mini tub of dressing and charged us extra. Lettuce was not chopped small enough. One of the dinners we ordered came out wrong. We ordered one thing and were given completely the wrong dinner. But they corrected their error. When the bill came though that incorrect dinner was still on the bill. And we had 3 extra sauces but were charged for 4. The outdoor patio is nice. Clean bathrooms. Nice interior with jumbo tvs. The driveway coming in is very steep. And half of the parking is on a very very steep incline. Emergency brake needed and then some. Smaller parking lot. Awkward parking lot. Actually the worst I've ever seen. Be careful. Hard to navigate at night. Walking out of the restaurant it is a very very steep incline down. Slippery when wet. Best to use a cane even if you don't normally use one. Would be hard for seniors to navigate. Hold on to Granny. Seriously. There needs to be handicapped spaces near the door. But we will be back. Staff is all new and green. They have only been open a week. They seem discombobulated. And not in agreement with their procedures. I'm sure things will improve with time. My wife and I have been so excited about Jefferson's opening in Kimball and we got to eat there today (3/29/22) for opening day! It was so good! We got seated immediately, had fantastic service and our food was awesome! We got the 20 piece wings along with fries. Everything came out hot and we ate every bit of it. Kimball Jeffersons has very good food, prompt service. They are deceptive about side orders however. Twice we have been and twice our waitress has deceived us about side order. First time we ordered, waitress took our order,then asked "what side", inferring the side came with the order. We got billed an extra $4.00 for sides which we assumed to be part of our order. The second time we were told the order came with chips, but we could substitute any side for the chips, and again we got billed for the side. We feel that the staff is trained to be deceptive about the side orders. Other than that, the food was good, and the staff friendly. Go and enjoy, but be very careful about "side" ordering. read more
