The first time I went to Amarti Café was during the Oscar Watch Party on a Sunday, when any other time the business would be closed. I really enjoyed my time there and got to socialize with some of the guests that came. I even had the opportunity to try the café's drinks and desserts. When I came as an Oscar party guest, I was given a Charcutier plate and a glass of wine when I gave them my ticket. They were a great appetizer. As for their menu choices I had the Salted Vanilla Bean Latte. The drink was fantastic and did not need any added sugar for taste. I also had their Cortado, and I found it strong yet flavourful. I had their Cookies'n'Cream cake, which I found very rich yet enjoyable throughout eating it. The interior of the cafe is very modern-looking with a lot of space. I like the mild lighting inside the business and the fact that they use garden lights and antiquated furniture adds some hospitable quality to it. The staff were very courteous when I was there, even when they were busy hosting the party. Overall, this is an excellent café to go to frequent at and would very much like to stop there again. read more

This coffee shop has more than just coffee. There's cake, lava cakes, sandwiches, muffins etc. the prices are fair. The baked items are good depending on your preferred flavours (I.e. my husband didn't like the ham and cheese croissant because it had mustard ‍, but loved the other breakfast sandwich) I would have loved to try some of their coffee/matcha milkshakes! (Yes you read that right.. MILKSHAKES). The baristas were super friendly, and they measure out their coffee for their drinks so you know it's going to taste the same each time. The inside is VERY spacious, with lots of seating. The patio was lovely, however the seats were not very comfy and there was no garbage/recycling out there. YES, I would recommend this place. A very welcoming cafe with lots of seating which is perfect for working or getting together with people. They have a good selection of food and coffees and they are actually open into the evening which is nice. I ended up getting a flat white and thought it was not bad. I loved this cafe! It was sooo cute and honestly very spacious. The servers are super sweet and move fairly fast to get your drinks/food out. My boyfriend and I didn't really wait that long for our food (maybe it was just us) but the server thought it was a long time and ended up giving us a free drink coupon!! I though that was super sweet of them. The expresso milkshake is bomb and I really recommend getting a sandwich from here(we got the veggie sandwich & grilled cheese) 10/10 recommended!! read more

Favourite coffee shop in Abbotsford. The place has great drink selection along with food selection. I had the chai latte and later on while I was working I had the fish salad which was so good!! I love that they have a water station and tons of places to work at. The repurposed wood is such a fine touch. Definitely recommended. read more

I live and work in this area and decided to go in and try their (very expensive) breakfast sandwich. I figured that it might be worth it as their menu said the bacon was from Rempels and ingredients were organic. I see their website states that the food is based on the owners "travels in Europe" and I wonder if they actually learned any Customer Service and any cooking skills over there. I was asked by the server when I paid upfront, "is this for here or to go?" I said for here and went outside to sit at one of their patio tables. 20 minutes later I still hadn't received my food and went inside to ask. The server pointed to a plate of food on the counter, stating "it's there". I asked her how long it's been sitting there and she stated that she called it out but I didn't answer...? I looked around me and stated to her that it wasn't too busy, did she not think I might be outside? I suggested to her that she pay a bit more attention to her customers. She just looked a bit dumbfounded and said, "I didn't know". I asked her didn't she notice that the hot breakfast sandwich they made me had been sitting on the counter? So she offered to reheat it (along with the salad inside) and re-made my poached egg. Well, the bacon was not cooked, the egg was slimy and the bread was now soggy after sitting in dressing for half an hour. An hour later now and I'm feeling sick to my stomach. I'm so sick of these fancy eateries that spend a ton of money on menu's and decor but don't train their staff properly, don't cook their food properly and over charge for everything. My sandwich was $10.50 and my husbands sandwich was $14! Both had undercooked bacon in it. If a place is going to be like Starbucks and expect their customers to fend for themselves, then we need to know that AND not be gouged in the process. We won't recommend this place to anyone and I work across the road from them. Too bad. read more
