This morning, I decided to try an everything bagel with cream cheese, salmon, and tomato. The salmon and cream cheese were packaged "on the side"--which I appreciated, as it was another 15 minutes before I could eat it. Next time, I think I'll add a second portion of salmon ($2). Total for what I ordered this morning $6 + tax. Very tasty and satisfied a craving for bagels and lox. This was day three of breakfast operations (they open at 8:30). There were three people ahead of me and my wait was around five minutes. Check them out! They're on the block of Quarrier closest to Capitol Street before the Library. Food service is a "side" so all items are "to-go." The store offers a variety of packaged snacks and microwaveable items. Good offering of frozen treats, too. Limited selection of OTC meds, energy shots, and personal care items are also available. My personal favorite is the inventory of Tide stain sticks! How many times I've needed something like that during the day and nowhere close to the office to get it.

You cannot find another donut with that flavor profile anywhere in the world. Trust me, I have looked. I have found amazing creme filled donuts, but nothing like the Swiss chocolate or strawberry shortcake anywhere. I don't really get anything else here. The other donuts like the glazed are a bit above average but I haven't found any other knockouts other than the ones I mentioned. If you can catch them early enough in the morning when they are baking them fresh and stuffing them you can ask them to really stuff the donuts you buy and that's the way I like them but I'm almost never there that early. Usually I'm passing through on my way to or from NC. My kids love a bunch of the other flavors of donuts and they do have a bunch. Service is usually quick and friendly. They have standard tables that are easy to clean inside and some outside seating. Parking lot is sufficient to stop and grab some donuts and eat a couple and then go.

When they opened, I was the first customer in, so I set up my laptop and got comfortable as they dealt with the regulars for a bit getting their coffee.
