We came in early in the morning so maybe everyone was half asleep. I ordered a fruit plate and english muffin. We could sense they had problems because another server was busy trying to match the meals on the tray with the customer orders, then had to remake an order because the eggs were wrong. When breakfast arrived there was no muffin and no explanation. When we finally flagged down our server he replied that the muffins were "bad". His attitude was offhand. I will tell you that yes, service can be painfully slow at times. That being said the food is good. The servers themselves have always been extremely kind and go above and beyond to make sure you're happy. There's a ton of variety on the menu so everyone will find something they like. A nice experience. It started with a friendly greeting from Crystal the hostess which made us feel like we made a good choice. The waitress, Mary, was funny and friendly and gave recommendations on her favorites. Had the chicken caprese salad dinner and it was good. The menu is simple focusing mostly on breakfast and lunch with a handful of dinner entrees. Service was incredibly slow! It was over 45 minutes from order until the food came. Our drinks were empty well before the food came, and we had to ask repeatedly for refills. When the food finally arrived it was inedible. The sandwich was cold and soggy. The potatos in the potato salad were not cooked and hard. When I sent it back and ordered a different sandwich they took the first one off the bill and charged me for the second. After waiting 25 minutes I cancelled the second sandwich and had to get irate for them to take it off the bill. I will never eat there again, and will likely not stay at the Aquarius again. This was my last meal before leaving back home and man oh man was I disappointed. This just about ruined my Morning. It was breakfast time and I ordered what i usually crave in the morning. My order is simple and hard to mess up. I had the combo eggs, sausage and french toast. It was a small portion, i'm not a huge eater and i was still hungry. I paid a dollar extra for the cinnamon pecan french toast, which was completely deceiving by the way, it looked nothing like the picture. It was pretty much 2 really thin regular bread with pecans on top? I was pretty hungry so i still ate it, what choice did I have.The milk I ordered didn't get to the table until after I was on the last few bites of my french toast. (that was the whole reason i ordered milk, was to accompany my french toast) My boyfriend ordered the eggs Benedict , very very sad and bland looking & tasting. He didn't like the hash browns either which is strange for him. The pancakes were bland and unappealing. We decided to eat here for dinner on our last night in Laughlin and after eating out all week, I really wanted a home cooked meal, so I went with the pot roast and veggies. It was alright. The Mr ordered the French Dip and the Princess ordered chicken wings. Again, all meals were just okay. However, I will say that our server, Kevin, was amazing! He was so helpful and accommodating. He gave suggestions. He made sure we had everything we needed, even going back to the kitchen on a few occasions to retrieve what we needed. He had a smile on his face the entire time, made us feel welcome, and really seemed to enjoy his job. I can't remember the last time I had such a genuine and attentive server. The only reason I'm giving this restaurant a star is for their cleanliness. It took us 25min just to get a table for 4 when the restaurant was not busy and clearly had plenty of open tables n servers. Our waiter took our order promply but we ended up waiting another 2omin for our food. The so call French Dip turn out to be a greasy piece of bread with cold meat n soggy fries on the side. I will say that the prices are cheaper than some of the restaurants in Laughin that serve smaller portions and crappier food. This place had decent food. I ordered a mini salad and I thought I was going to get a salad the size of a dinner salad but it was actually huge! I couldn't eat it all. Went on 4/16/21. We haven't been here since before covid and the location was a buffet. It's now a restaurant. We were all very happy with our food. the menu is kinda small so I recommended checking it first. Thankfully they had chicken strips and fries for my littles. It was on the appetizer menu and was $10. I wish I would have known it came with about 8 strips and a large amount of fries. My 3 yr old and 9 yr old could have shared one. I got the chicken fried steak. It came with eggs hashbrowns and toast. I couldn't finish it and it was good. My oldest got the skillet and said it was good, he almost finished it. Hubby got an omelet and corned beef hash. He's picky about his hash and really liked theirs. Our waitress was attentive and we got everything we needed, even all the extra sides of ketchup we wanted since they are single portions due to covid. They were extremely rude. When the server delivered our food was when I really got mad. A few of our plates were wrong (wrong order). Wow, I was really disappointed with this place - food was so-so, but service was HORRIBLE. I think the waitress went on break during our time there, and none of the other servers would cover for her. This place is right next to the buffet. There was a big line to the cafe compared to the buffet so decided to try it out. The food is pretty good they have a variety of sandwiches, burgers etc. I forgot the name of my dish but I think it was the grilled chicken salad sandwich wrap. It was pretty tasty. Very light and full of flavor. The fries are also pretty good too. Only two negative things I would say about this place. One is the service. At first it was good but as time went by our waiter kept disappearing and when he did show up he would be too busy with other tables and we had to keep flagging him down. Second negative thing is that the food took forever to come out. For a couple of sandwiches which my table ordered it shouldn't take that long to make. On a weekend trip to Laughlin, NV. On our last day, we had breakfast at the Aquarius Cafe. On the recommendation my friend who became an instant fan of the bacon omelet stuffed French toast, I had to try it for myself to see if I agreed. The way she described it sounded too good to pass up!! Boy, was I delighted to have tried it!! Talk about a scrumptious sweet but savory satisfying breakfast dish!! This was it!! Think French toast stuffed with a fluffy omelet made with your choice of bacon, sausage or ham, drizzled in syrup and topped with whipped butter...mmm!! The omelet was fluffy, the bacon was crisp, and the French toast was thick and not-soggy!! We shared a side of tasty hash browns which were served up crispy with a nice golden-brown hue!! Service was good & the establishment was nice & clean. Reasonable prices. On the down side their coffee is too weak for my liking. I will return and try them out for lunch or dinner...but definitely for breakfast!! :) read more

Ok first is first, SERVICE... In the 2 times we went there this past weekend on our trip the service was horrible. The waitress took forever to get to the table, she took forever to get our order, and we asked for miscellaneous things such as lemon and hot sauce and she forgot. The last time we went there on the same weekend it was so empty and we figured that we would have a better experience. But wow was i wrong, it was the same if not worse. This café, in the heart of the Aquarius Casino will me your go to for grub at most hours of the day, or night. Although I am not sure they are open 24hours any longer, they are a great choice. My family and I ate here this past weekend while staying at the hotel. I would say the staff and food both hit higher marks than anticipated. The service all came with an attentive smile, whether it was the hostess or the waiter, even going above to bring an extra plate for our 4year old. The omelet my wife had was fairly large and tasty, with fresh looking ingredients. I had the Huevos Rancheros which was a diamond in the rough for this place. This was not a traditional style, that I am familiar with, but was great none the less. It put the biscuits and gravy that I ordered as a back up to shame. Complete with tasty beans and zesty green sauce , the heuvos rancheros was really really good! Keep it up yall, and we will see you next year! read more
