Breakfast menu

I found this place just looking to grab something quick before work and I stumbled on a hidden gem! A full menu from breakfast - lunch! From salads to wraps and sandwiches and more ! Such a clean and beautiful looking establishment on the inside and out! There's a patio area to eat and enjoy the beautiful weather New Port has to offer! The sizes are GENEROUS! And Jay is super nice! Can't wait to be back and try everything on the menu The Cobb salad was delicious

Great quick cafe run by a husband and wife, I always order my food online. If you go to their store, they'll provide you with an online ordering URL where they prefer to take your online order. I've never gone to the cafe and had to wait, I was always able to go and pick up my food, I would order and just drive down the street from work right away and it's always ready. They do take credit cards and don't charge extra if you purchase small items/drinks. They have plenty of indoor seating, so far I've only had the salads but will update with more pics if I get the sandwiches. I recommend this cafe because it's efficient and they're just nice folks. If you work in the area, anywhere else may be slower to deliver and this place is very consistent with their food

The sandwiches are so good! We've had them for work lunch a few times and nobody can get enough. The BLT in particular is delicious.

The lattes were excellent too--everything we ordered was fresh, flavorful, and definitely worth the visit. That said, we came on a Sunday in the late morning, and it was very busy. We waited in line for quite a while before ordering, and since seating is limited, we also had to wait for a table to open up and quickly grab it when one became available. Parking is limited as well, and street parking can be hard to find during peak times. One thing that could make the experience even better would be having separate lines for to-go orders and dine-in guests, especially on busy weekends. Overall, the food and drinks were so good that I'd absolutely come back--I would just try visiting at a different time or on a weekday to avoid the crowds.

My coworkers and I got together for the summer and one of them suggested this place. It sounded…read moreintriguing so we agreed to go. There are a few things to consider when coming here. Parking. There is a parking lot, but it is tiny and seems like it's always full. Plan on street parking in the vicinity. They are busy (long line out the door) and there are limited seating. You wait in line to order first and the area leading to the counter is tight so people do a u-turn to get back out the way they went in. It was also very muggy this afternoon and they only had a fan running inside so I was sweating so much. It was not a pleasant experience. There's a small bar area to the right and a few tables that are oddly placed behind the nook of the doors. It's got a cute country meets beach city vibe and the decorations inside reflect that. There is more seating outside, but like I said, it's kind of limited. We luckily got a table after about 4-5 minutes, but we were kind of standing near the trash can for a bit trying to figure out what to do. It's a very tiny space/lot and with how popular it is, it's too cramped for me. With all the cyclospora stuff going on, I'm very hesitant to eat out lately and if I do, I stick to all the fried foods. I ended up getting their popular Hawaiian Cowboy Latte (iced) which was good, but the walnut milk was unexpectedly thick/decadent. I normally drink my coffee black or I do cold brew, but it has honey too so it was sweeter. I think it was too much milk for my liking. If I went back, I'd prob try their affogato. That sounded good too. I also ordered the campfire french toast. It was good. In hindsight, the coffee plus the sweet french toast was too much sweet in one sitting. It was still good and I finished it. My other coworkers got an avocado toast and the trojan horse bowl. Those looked good too and they enjoyed it. Overall, it was good and the ambience is nice, but it's overpriced for what it was. The parking and lack of seating is definitely a turn off for me. If there was more room it would be cool, but the layout was not what I had anticipated. It looked bigger in the photos other people had posted. The staff is friendly so that was nice. I'm glad I went and tried it out though.

We came here for a late brunch, and the girl taking our order offered us a free cinnamon rolled oats pancake since it was our first time and we were debating the pancake choices. When I asked for extra salsa, another girl brought it immediately with a cheerful smile (in LA, I would get a dead-eyed Gen Z stare followed by a sigh that the additional tablespoon of salsa would be a $4 charge). We had the breakfast burrito (massive, could've just split this) and the 2+2+2 with buttermilk pancakes (fluffy bites of heaven). I loved the cinnamon pancake too, but suggest this as a table share vs a standalone meal unless you have a major sweet tooth. Total including coffee was just over $50. Just go - you'll leave with a very full belly but can burn it off hiking at crystal cove!

Tuna melt was very very good but they didn't really toast it that much comparing to other pictures I've seen here. Now the bad... it's such a tiny place that I feel claustrophobic here! Parking is awful so we try to come here early morning. And also most of the people that come to this spot don't know how to read the huge sign outside the door that says: "Line starts here" So it can be very very tight inside and confusing when people are lined up inside a tiny restaurant plus tables just a few inches from it.

Our server who I forgot his name was super nice and attentive. My husband got chicken and I got duck and both dishes were delicious. The lady who helped me - dark hair, really overly colorful eye makeup, and tattoos - processed the transaction but handed me the card without a receipt. When I asked for one, she spent a moment at the screen and then told me she couldn't print it because she had already closed out my tab. I was confused why 1) she didn't give me a receipt in the first place, then 2) she decided that was the only solution - to tell me it could not be done. After I asked her to find a solution as I needed a copy of the receipt, she finally asked her colleague beside her, who pointed her to the right place, and, voila, the receipt was printed. Leading with "I can't" is never the right customer service instinct, especially for something as basic as a receipt. I also tried to buy the butter they import from France. I stood at the case for several minutes with no acknowledgment. I finally walked over to the nearest employee (her name was Lucy) who was finishing up with a customer at the register right next to the butter section. I politely asked if she could help me when she was free. She looked at me, nodded, and said she would. Then proceeded to assist every customer who lined up behind that original customer without once glancing back in my direction. In fact, I had enough time to walk to the bakery, go through the entire gift card situation as mentioned above, and return to the butter section, and Lucy still hadn't looked over. I left without the butter. Moulin used to have fantastic service. I don't know where those regulars went, but two strikes in one visit, with two different employees, is hard to brush off.

Upon walking in, the barista was friendly and open to answering any and all questions. Ambiance was also great and fit the name of the cafe and its vibes. For the drinks, we got an iced toffee latte and the kepania, which is their version of a spanish latte. I liked the toffee latte more cause it had bits of toffee in it but I also liked the spanish latte as it tasted lighter than the toffee latte. It gave the drinks more of a balance when I started taking sips from both of them. I do really like how the top layer of the lattes were blue, which gives off a great aesthetic. The only downside for me was that the toffee latte lost a good amount of its flavor after some of the ice melted-- some cafes still have a strong coffee taste even after the ice melts & that's usually what I like as far as preference. As for the sunbliss blend smoothie, it definitely had that taste of the 100% real fruit in it and was a refreshing drink to sip on when I walked at the beach. It's a plus for this cafe for having plenty of options between drinks and bites!

Despite being relatively close to two major colleges - OCC and UCI - this place wasn't as crowded as you'd imagine it would be. They serve coffee, matcha, breakfast foods like breakfast burritos, protein bowls, avocado toasts - but I didn't pick anything to eat since I already had lunch. I shared with the barista that it was my first time here, and he asked what type of drink I was looking for. I told him something iced and caffeinated - and he mentioned his favorite was the Honey Cinnamon Latte - which I opted for - iced, with oat milk. Total was $8.50 including tip. My iced Honey Cinnamon Latte was yummy, creamy, and fantastic! With the oat milk substitute, it sorta tasted like Cinnamon Toast Crunch in liquid coffee form. It wasn't overly sweet, definitely had a nice kick to it - love this recommendation by the barista! I checked out the rest of the space and used their restroom to wash my hands - it's really a neat space here. Lots of seating. Lots of space. There's an adjacent room that's connected to the cafe called "Flow Space" - which is utilized for small popups and arts & crafts. Neat spot for smaller community members to showcase their wares. Some of the other reviews mentioned no a/c - which had me worried considering we were having a bit of a heatwave lately - but to my pleasant surprise, A/C was on and cold! It was a great escape from the heat. Free wifi - fast enough for a zoom call if you need to hop into one - my speedtest reported download speeds of 17.5MB/s Restroom is clean and well maintained. Plenty of parking - of course, I stopped by a little after 2pm, so already avoiding the tail end of the lunch rush. Only downside is they close kinda early - 4pm - but open up at 7am. Great spot! Will probably be my go-to considering there's ample workspace, plenty of parking, less crowded than other coffee spots in the immediate area. I'm curious to try their matcha the next time I'm here, as well as possibly their breakfast burritos, since photos for that looks delicious.
