Stopped in to grab lunch today. I was completely overwhelmed with the menu because there is jist so much good stuff to choose from Rhaun was at the counter and he was so so helpful because I was completely confused on what to order. I ended up getting the chicken salad. I found out that It was made to order which I absolutely loved. One of my friends ordered the tuna and the other ordered the heatwave. Every sandwich was absolutely delicious and all the ingredients were so fresh. it's simple decor but its still a little vibe. its clean and inviting. It's hard to find a good sandwich spot with Dutch Crunch bread. It's been the best that I've had in OC so far. Their sandwich options are extensive or you can do a build your own. You can make your sandwich hot or cold. I like that the sandwiches are simple, fresh, and delicious. It's a great lunch and good to grab on the way to the beach. I would pass on the mac salad, it's on the sweeter side and just tastes like mayo. They only have Pepsi products for the fountain drinks. The store is cute and has a few tables. Turkey cold cranberry sauce a liberal amount, mayonnaise , lettuce and red onions, it's the perfect combo! I cannot believe how delicious it was! Add a root beer and I'm in heaven! I prefer their Palm Spring's location. Fun fact: They switch up the names of the sandwiches depending what city you are in. So keep in mind the ingredients of the sandwich that you like haha In Palm Springs I would get the Federer, but at the Newport location it is called Big Daddy--Turkey, proscuitto, avocado, and swiss. Also, I absolutely ordered lettuce (as shown on my receipt) but was only given that one tiny sliver of lettuce that's pictured. Also, I requested the bread to be toasted, as you can see it's clearly not toasted in the slightest. Here's a tip from one business owner to another. For one, don't lie publicly-it's not a good look. Secondly, instead of getting on the defensive, you should apologize and make offer to make things right.
