I didn't know what to think, seemed like a Healthy option for lunch, but the portions for the salads are hefty, and they are more than delicious, I didn't want the bowl to end. The Farm Club was amazing, I loved it- Potato salad was good although I prefer it chunkier than creamier, the texture was a bit smooth for my taste. My wife got the Not So Fried chicken sandwich which she loves. We got my two year old the PB&J, I didn't know it came toasted which was a bit of an issue for her. All in all the food was great, quality ingredients on quality ingredients. I had the special which was a half Turkey avo salsa sandwich and tomato basil soup. You can also get a half sandwich and salad or a small side too, but I opted for soup for about $1 more. The soup was good, but I've had better tomato basil soup elsewhere. I might not order it again here. Again, it wasn't bad though! I love the turkey avo salsa sandwich. It's so packed with flavor. Service is always friendly and prompt. Unfortunately, the food quality and portion sizes at this location are inconsistent, especially compared to the Irvine (campus) and Tustin (District) locations. My salad often arrives with brown avocado that appears to be covered in pepper to disguise it. My sandwich is frequently underfilled, and my salads sometimes feel noticeably smaller than expected. On two occasions when I ordered takeout, items were missing, including the tortilla chips that come with the Green Goddess salad. We love Mendocino! The standard orders for us are the not so fried chicken sandwich, the Chinese salad, and the peach sandwich. My only disappointment so far is their heirloom blt. The tomato was just a normal tomato cut so thick that the sandwich was a mess and disappointing when expecting an heirloom. The service is always amazing. I've never had Mendocino Farms until I recently moved to California and I love it as a go-to sandwich spot. I love that they always seem fresh and have lots of flavor. However, they are very dense and higher in calories so not necessarily a low calorie option but definitely a good tasting option. I have yet to try any soup or salads which may be the better option if you're looking for something lower in calories. My absolute favorite sandwich is the Turkey Avo Salsa Verde. There is a large piece of turkey and the salsa verde is amazing with a little kick to it. My work also gets the catering boxes that have half of a bunch of the different sandwiches which is nice to be able to try different ones. read more

This is one of my go to places for fresh salads. When the heat around 90 degrees, getting a salad was the perfect meal to help cool you down and still enjoy a delicious meal. The mango salad was crisp and had fun additions like almonds and noodles. It also had a hint of Thai basil which I'm not the biggest fan, but it worked well in here. The chicken parm dip had a really nice bread, I loved it. The dipping sauce is necessary to complete the dish, and it's a simple yet gets the job done. Since it was my first time trying it, I decided to go for the famous Farm Club Sandwich, which comes with roasted turkey breast, avocado, applewood smoked bacon, herb aioli, tomatoes, mixed greens, and pickled red onions on a seeded honey whole wheat bread.
