Cafe Bella was super cool !n Ocean beach. Probably the most amazing cold brew that I've had in a long time the staff Jacob and Hanna were really kind!! really relaxed indoor outdoor patio area! It was so good. I actually bought some more to go.! thank you for the hospitality

Caprese Empanada? It's a little bit hard maybe because it was reheated for too long.. It's thin as quesadilla. Flavor is bad.

I saw this place and it looks like a good place to eat. My first time going to Cafe Bella.. The ambiance is nice other than that the food that I ordered was horrible! The Caprese Empanada doesn't look like empanada it was flat, greasy and looks old after they reheated it. The Turkey Cheese stuffed Croissant was not even a Croissant. It was a flat Croissant?? and looks old. It was totally different from the picture that was advertised! I paid $16 for these 2. It's not worth it! The staff were nice though!

Same price (if not a few cents cheaper, even after a tip) as Starbucks, but 100000 Xs better! It's a food truck full of coffee, smoothies, and açaí that only has 2 workers inside, so if there's a line, it'll take a bit, but it's worth the wait! We got larges of the Vietnamese iced coffee and the mocha cold brew. Both were perfectly sweet, but not too much, and the coffee was strong. We'd sat in over 2.5 hours of traffic down from LA, and went to the beach all day with a toddler, and these coffees were our saving grace to make it until 10pm lol. The sleeves were some of the cutest I've ever seen - a fun touch!

Such a beautiful clean coffee shop. I love the charming surf board decor and the large area of seating, very nice and spacious for someone who enjoys their privacy while conversing among friends. The woman on staff was super delightful at the register, and I really enjoyed the coffee and variety on the menu. This was a place I'd recommend for someone to catch up with a friend over good coffee for certain.

Large raspberry white mocha on a chilly evening is perfect!

We arrived just before it closed and they were nice enough to take our coffee order, which was perfect because the evenings get a bit chilly and we needed warm beverages! The service is excellent and the ambiance is awesome. They have several flavored syrups. It has both outdoor and indoor seating. Stop in when you're in Ocean Beach!

I was on a morning walk and stumbled upon this gem. Amazing service and a cute little stand. I got an iced chai latte and it was beautifully crafted with a foamy consistency. Also ordered a jalapeño bagel with cream cheese! It was delectable! Will definitely come back again.

Stopped here before hitting the road to drive to Joshua tree. I had a wonderful latte and was so impressed with the options for juices and smoothies. I'd love to come back to try one next time!

Great atmosphere and great açaí bowl. The plain bagel with cream cheese I would never order again. It was too plain like cardboard. The cream cheese was the only thing that made it edible.

Had to stop here while heading to the beach. It was the perfect refreshment to get a smoothie. The staff working were so nice and friendly making small talk. It was a very pleasant experience.

You can't really beat the refreshing taste of fresh fruit and nutty granola and butter. Especially when you can take this delectable bowl to the beach and just vibe in the sand. Wave Bowl $16 (14.50+1.50): 5/5 The bowl itself looks fairly small like, but deceptively so since I was stuffed after eating the whole thing for breakfast. It is higher cost than I would usually spend but I don't eat açaí bowls to know the average. Personally I really liked that the toppings were at the bottom and the bases were on top, not just because it was a beautiful display but because sometimes when it is the opposite, it can quickly get messy with toppings falling and dropping. The granola was crunchy and the add-on nut butter ($1.50) was plentiful and contrasted well to the fruits. You get some finely diced strawberries and bananas that were just the right amount of ripe, the bananas a little more firm but definitely preferred with the bases. The pineapple spirulina was favorite as it had a good sweetness to it. Honestly wished I could get a bowl with just this as a base and of course the natural blue color is just so unique. Coconut was coconutty and the pitaya was brightly colored, not too much distinctive taste on this one. Peak San Diego Experience

In this case yes the bowl was OK was but was no better than the 3 other bowl places within a mile of this location. The wait was LONG as for many of the bowl places on this street but this one was extra long as in 45 minutes to an hour wait on off hours long. And of course with all these tik tok famous places the price was inflated. Based on taste alone I could have given this place 4 starts but the extra tik tok tax(inflated price just for being TikTok trendy) and extra wait time for the exact same thing you can get anywhere else rubbed me wrong so I'm going to have to leave this 3 star right here.

I placed an order ahead of time and showed up about 25 minutes later thinking it would be ready. When I checked in, a younger employee told me it would be another 10 minutes. Annoying, but okay. The parking situation around here is already a nightmare, so I really wasn't thrilled about having to stand around waiting even longer. Well, those 10 minutes turned into 25. During that time, I watched multiple people walk in, place orders after I had already checked in, and receive their food before me. The crazy part? It wasn't even busy. There was no line out the door, no rush, no obvious reason for such a ridiculous delay. After waiting long enough, I finally went up to an older gentleman working there (I'm assuming the owner) and politely explained that I had been waiting a very long time and was confused why people ordering after me were getting their food first. Instead of apologizing or even acknowledging the mistake, he was rude, dismissive, and acted like I was inconveniencing him for asking about an order that should have been ready ages ago. Then, after another 10 minutes, my bowls were finally ready. In total, I waited about 35 minutes after checking in for pickup. To top it all off, the older gentleman practically shoved the bowls at me without so much as a "sorry for the wait." Look, delays happen. Mistakes happen. What bothered me was the complete lack of communication, accountability, and basic customer service. If you're running behind, just be honest about it. Don't tell someone 10 minutes when it's really going to be over half an hour. The açaí is good, but not nearly good enough to make up for being treated like an annoyance. There are plenty of other places in San Diego serving great bowls without the attitude.

Waited for about 5 minutes and was greeted by a gentleman who took my order I got a decaf, dirty, iced vanilla chai. It was good but not a lot of chai flavor. Not overly sweet which is good I also ordered the ham and cheese stuffed croissant. I think they just warm it up. And I think it was overdone. The cheese had come out and was burnt, which is OK cause I like burnt cheese. But the end of the croissant was hard and edible. Overall it's a great option if you're local and looking for a cafe that's walkable with lots of seating. But I wouldn't go through the effort of finding parking to visit. To the business owner: I have a handicap placard that was clearly visible in my windshield. But I'm happy that you showed other customers who are as a business owner and why they should not frequent your business. As you can see from my picture the croissant was not edible. Address that instead of worrying about the parking and making false claims online. Thanks

Retro vibes, free arcade games, and an atmosphere that feels more like a hangout than a restaurant, in a good way. Extra credit for actually letting you play the games instead of just using them as decor. I was not very hungry, so I went with the Arctik Monkey smoothie with peanut butter and chocolate. Straight up delicious and absolutely something I would order again without hesitation. My wife ordered the Feta y Verdes veggie wrap, and even she was surprised by how good it was, which says a lot because she knows her veggies. Fresh, flavorful, and genuinely satisfying. Veggie lovers, consider this your official heads up. The arcade lineup is solid too. Pac Man, Mortal Kombat II, The Simpsons, a classic Star Wars Atari cabinet, plus others. Waiting for food did not feel like waiting. It felt like killing time in the best possible way. One quick warning. The hip hop playlist is not radio edited. Totally fine for adults, but if you are bringing kids, just know you might be explaining some lyrics on the drive home. Overall, fun spot, good food, strong throwback energy. I would definitely come back.

Yum! I don't think I've ever had a "pure" açaí bowl before (usually mixed with blueberries,…read morestrawberries, etc.), but I'm a big fan now. This little store is inside the Bakeshop by Coco Playa so the sign is hard to spot. They sell açaí bowls (in a cup) and smoothies + Brazilian cheese bread :) The acai is smooth and creamy, and I liked how it was sweet (honey added) and didn't melt very quickly. Super tasty! They do a good job layering on the toppings and making the cup look pretty. There's an option to do half acai and half coconut sorbet; the sorbet was super sweet and packed a punch of coconut flavor-- so good and refreshing! The blueberries seemed thawed from frozen so some of them were still frosty but they were still sweet. MT really enjoyed the pistachio butter too. They did away with their Tuesday special of unlimited toppings, but now you get unlimited regular toppings everyday with regular+ sizes. Premium options (like protein powder, pistachio butter, almond butter, goji berries, etc) come with an additional cost. Definitely pricey but a special, fun, and tasty treat! We enjoyed Açaí Carioca so much we went 3 times in a week! This location has better parking (a shopping plaza lot), was less busy, friendlier service, and had a few seats outside compared to their other location. If you're craving a refreshing and somewhat healthy treat, check this place out!

It's SO good, I highly recommend the coconut sorbet to any coconut fan! The texture and flavor of real açaí here is so amazing, completely a different experience from any of the other açaí places. That makes this my favorite açaí spot I've tried so far in San Diego. The Brazilian bread is super addicting as well!
