Came in randomly when stopping at Blick. The spot is cute but check the hours before you stop in. We came out to PL/Blick over the weekend and the location closed at 2pm. We were so sad to miss the goods. The food is fresh and delicious. The coffee was so unique. On top of it the team was helpful and understanding with the kiddos running around. Overall we'll be back but hopefully during business hours.

Came here after a local run at nearby Liberty Station. The restaurants at Liberty Station were super crowded so Yelp steered us to this place with great reviews. The menu is great with a lot of options, but I would note firstly that this isn't really a sit-down restaurant with no servers (order at the counter and wait for your food to be called). The location is tucked away behind a larger business and feels most like a coffee shop with a lot of takeaway orders however there is a small amount of inside seating and some outside seating. Now to the food - they have açaí/keto/yogurt bowls as well as toasts, leige waffles,, egg sandwiches and breakfast burritos. They also have fancy coffees and espressos. All and all a good food experience and friendly staff.

Cute local coffee shop that wasn't located too far from our hotel. A steady stream of patrons ordering both online and in person. We got some coffees and breakfast items. The good the breakfast burrito decent filling, nice addition with the cream cheese, the bad the Bravocado the idea was interesting and adding the bacon was great but the bread itself started to unravel so it makes for a messy situation. The best was the liege fruit waffle so satisfying, I wish we would have had more, I'd go back just got this. I'd take this place over a chain coffee shop any day. Check them out next time you're in the mood for a caffeine fix.

I've been here twice and this is a hidden gem that I wouldn't have found if it weren't for Yelp. It is located next to F45 and situated adjacent to apartment housing I believe. There is a parking lot with spaces so it's easily accesible both times I went. This breakfast cafe is cozy with some indoor and outdoor seating. The sandwiches I tried were scrumptious (love everything from the soft croissant bread to the insides and also their burrito was fantastic with good salsa!), service was good, and the iced coffees are excellent with a good blend of strength and sweetness. When in the area of Point Loma/Sports Arena, I definitely recommend!

Very chill spot. Rather small inside. The coffee was very strong and tasty (caramel macchiato). Good music but overly loud, temperature ok, inside & outside seating. Parking 2 h free in lot.

San Diegan Burrito and French Toast

Small and modern cafe with industrial interior. The service here was amazing but the food left some to be desired. - San Diegan Burrito ($11.99): A bit small with the portions for a burrito of this price but the mild spicy chipotle sauce was a sweet smokey flavor that went nicely with the burrito. It was a delicious burrito but just wished the portions were a bit bigger. (7/10) - French Toast ($7.99): I liked how it was pre-sliced into bite sized pieces with strawberry and blueberry bits sprinkled on top. The toast was the perfect sweetness but the texture wasn't my favorite. The toast had a tender, crumby bite that wasn't very soft or fluffy. (6/10) - Matcha Latte ($5.99) This drink was a good earthy matcha but they didn't sift their matcha and left some clumps. It also left a weird after taste. (6/10)

I ordered a latte with oat milk and it was great! I also ordered a keto bowl. It had egg, chorizo, cheese, red peppers, avocado, and sour cream... I loved it!! Looks small but with the chorizo and cheese very filling. I will definitely be back.

Quiet spot with chill music, employees are very nice and quick service. Plenty of seating and has outlets at some tables. Loved my burrito! The matcha was good too

Stopped by here while we were running errands. Got their Keto Bowl and their Fancy Toast - The Jam and a flat white. The flat white was okay but the food was very tasty! The portions aren't huge but that's okay because the price mirrors that but everything was great. The chipotle sauce on the keto bowl was wonderful and the jam on the toast was nice and sweet. All in all a good place for a quick bite. Will return to try other drinks. Service was fast. It's a small place with cute little tables outside and one or two inside. There is 15 minute parking directly in front but there's also a shopping center across the way so easy to access.

    Croissant breakfast sandwiches and macchiato

Cute and unassuming, with unexpectedly good breakfast sandwiches. We got the Nutella one and an egg sandwich. The espresso macchiato is the "authentic" kind (small volume, foam on espresso shot)

First time trying Local Krave and it was super delicious, no complaints!! I got the Whipped Vietnamese Iced Coffee & The San Diegan (croissant) && I am left speechless! Both people working there were so kind and gave their recommendations. Didn't get a picture of the coffee because I drank it so fast. Definitely will come again & will be bringing my coffee loving friends & family

Keto Bowl was a sloppy overcooked mess
    Cheryl G.

Coffee was bomb, not gonna lie. Skip the food though. I ordered a keto bowl, it sounded really good with the egg and avocado, chorizo, guacamole and chipotle sauce. It took forever for it to come out, and I actually laughed when I opened the container at how sloppy it looked. For $14 are you kidding me? It wouldn't have been so bad if it tasted good, but the egg was cooked so hard it was like a dry pancake. The coffee shop was really cute. A couple seats inside and then a few on an outdoor patio. You can tell that they did put a little effort into making it look cute. The baristas seemed nice enough, but mildly disinterested. Parking in the area was street parking only and difficult. We had to do a couple laps to find a spot. Moral of the story great spot to stop for an awesome coffee if you happen to be right there. Not worth going out of the way for a quick breakfast. And it won't be quick.

Lazy Eye to the rescue! Lazy Eye is sandwiched between two buildings with one table out front. It's a to-go place. When you're that close to the beach, who wants to be inside anyway? While they do offer regular brewed coffee, I'm pretty certain their specialty is all the delicious frou-frou coffee drinks. I usually don't go for them, but today, I was in the mood for it. Their milk chocolate mocha with light ice was delicious It made me very happy and our pup was super happy with the treat they gave him. They have a small bakery display which I passed on since we were getting brunch soon, but I'm sure there's something for everyone there. This location is open 7 days a week- 6:30am-1pm. In the early afternoon, this place had a line, which is a good sign. The line moved quickly but also gave me time to study their menu to see what I wanted. They specialize in Hawaiian style drinks, so I settled on a Hawaiian matcha. The guy taking me order was super sweet and friendly. I was wearing my favorite Monterey Bay Aquarium sweatshirt and he commented on how that aquarium is one of his favorites! Me too! He asked me what was my favorite thing about the aquarium and I told him the sea otters. I asked what his favorite was and he said the jellyfish exhibition and omg that was soo good! I remember being at that exhibit for awhile as the jellyfish light up and there are so many kinds and so cool to see how they move! In any case, it was so nice to talk about an aquarium we both love!! The Hawaiian matcha was great! I love that they used their Hawaiian syrup in my drink. The drink was pricey, so with oat milk substitution, and a tip, it came to $10. But, think of it this way, you are also using their beautiful facilities and you can lounge here and do work, read, spend some time here. The place is massive, with tons of seating inside (its all open space, so a nice ocean breeze keeps coming thru), and lots of seats outside too! I LOVE THIS PLACE!! I will definitely be coming back here and next time, gonna bring some work and books to read and post up here!!

First and foremost, I am a gin lover (I'm a rare diamond in the rough). I also got it because I love drinking calamansi juice so the two will pair well for my taste.
