    Jalapeño bagel with cream cheese
    siri g.

It was pretty busy for a Friday morning, there were already lines around 9-10am and all the tables we're pretty much occupied, I can only imagine how busy the weekends must be. I ordered a latte and a jalapeño bagel cream cheese and they were both okay. I do wish they would offer "for here" cups, when asked they said they only offer paper cups. It's a very cute place overall, lots of plants and a bunch of outdoor tables as well.

This is one of my favorite neighborhood coffee shops and I come here pretty regularly. The staff are always friendly and welcoming, which makes it such a nice place to keep coming back to. One thing I really love about this shop is their in-house flavors. My personal favorite is the orange cardamom -- it's so unique and pairs really well with coffee. They also have flavors like maple sage and blueberry, which actually goes really well with matcha. I usually order my drinks half sweet since I don't like things too sugary, and the balance here is perfect. Both their iced and hot lattes are consistently great. The food is just as good as the drinks. My go-to is the rosemary salt bagel, which is so good and something I end up craving. It's also a really cute place to sit and work for a bit. There's usually good street parking nearby, which is a big plus. Sometimes I like to take my coffee for a walk around the neighborhood, although it's a little funny because some of the surrounding streets don't have sidewalks. Still, it's a nice area and I always enjoy stopping by here. Overall, I love this place -- great drinks, great food, and such a friendly neighborhood vibe.

An unassuming and tasteful coffee shop next door to Harland Brewing and Poseidon Project in Bay Park. The coffee is yummy and has a nice body/balance. The staff is great too! They're always very warm and welcoming. There's Wi-Fi and plenty out outdoor seating. Update: I came back with a friend for the first time in a long time today. We hung out for a while outside to go over some business plans on the computer. We had an Americano, an orange cardamom latte, a jasmine iced tea, and a blueberry matcha, plus a zucchini walnut muffin. Everything was pretty good overall. Our favorites were the blueberry matcha and zucchini walnut muffin. The matcha was mildly sweet, non grainy, and mixed surprisingly well with the blueberry flavor. The muffin was airy, slightly moist, and had a good earthiness to it.

Great little coffee shop in Bay Park! The coffee is good quality and food is tasty. I love their chai here. So flavorful and I will come here just for that. Great place to work and bring your laptop. Few tables with soft music. Quiet enough to focus and get stuff done.

Bay Park coffee is a total gem! I love this spot because it's outside of the fray of PB and mission beach. It has a solid robust menu for coffee, matcha, and breakfast items. I usually opt for an iced latte (the pistachio vanilla is delish) and the veggie bagel sandwich. The bagel is good and has a ton of toppings on it, so it definitely justifies the price. The coffee is always smooth and the syrups are really good too! The chefs/baristas are on it here and super fast. Would definitely recommend this spot.

Avocado toast on multigrain bread + eggs and cheese

This place is great! Major San Diego neighborhood coffee shop vibes. Indoor outdoor feel with delicious coffee brewing. I love the option of coconut milk and opted for an iced latte with that coconut incorporation. Their avocado toast is exactly what I was looking for and I am glad they offer eggs on the wide. My husband devoured the croissant breakfast sandwich and raved about it. I love this place! Their staff were all very friendly and our order came out quickly. We were able to find parking right out front on a Sunday morning too.

So excited to find this awesome spot tucked away in Bay Park on the same street as Harland brewery. Super cute inside with lots of plants and very clean. The girl at the front recommended the zucchini nut muffin and the chocolate banana bread. I could eat that chocolate banana bread with every meal, although my waistline would not benefit from that. We ordered the Viennese latte and the Vietnamese latte. The Viennese latte was with honey and cinnamon. Super tasty although I did just come back from Vienna and I never saw anything like that at any of the coffee shops there lol. The Vietnamese latte was the real shocker. They steam and froth the condensed milk... it's sooooo creamy and delicious. OMG I will have dreams about that drink. I can see myself going out of my way to get that drink anytime I'm in the area.

We were around Mission Bay that day and craving to sip a coffee somewhere, I found this place and it had pretty good reviews. It was a really cute coffee shop, the owner and the baristas of the shop are all Asian, good to see! The coffee is really really tasty! I can feel they are made from really good quality coffee beans. The atmosphere is really cozy, they have lovely arts on the walls. It is a hidden gem, I recommend you come to check it out.

At the recommendation of someone who doesn't even drink coffee, which would normally have me running the other way, lol, not only was a pleasantly surprised with this shop, but I went back. If you're in the Mission Bay area of San Diego, this is a really cool local spot. Both times I went they were packed and that's always a good sign. There's plenty of parking on the street and they have both indoor and outdoor seating. Since it is San Diego, the outdoor seating is almost always good. Although they did not have agave, which is my personal preference for iced coffee, I don't know what honey they are using, but it was really good. Typically, when I use honey it's a little overpowering, but they put in just enough where I still got the predominant coffee flavor for my iced oat milk latte. Quad shot of course and it was really smooth. I already have a favorite local shop in San Diego, but this is quickly becoming my second for sure. Whether you are a local, or visiting the area, it's a great little spot.

Cute local spot! Visited on a Sunday and it was busy but not overwhelmingly so. Good selection of teas and Zumbar coffee. I like how they make all the drinks in batches and then bring them out for everyone on a tray, kinda fun! The breakfast croissant sandwich was tasty if a little overpriced - not sure why the ham version is like $4 more. The bagel sandwich was decent but a little stale. Cute seating inside and lots of tables outside with the sun, although you can hear freeway noise a bit. Overall worth a visit if you are in the area but it's a bit off the beaten path

Lazy Eye to the rescue! Lazy Eye is sandwiched between two buildings with one table out front. It's a to-go place. When you're that close to the beach, who wants to be inside anyway? While they do offer regular brewed coffee, I'm pretty certain their specialty is all the delicious frou-frou coffee drinks. I usually don't go for them, but today, I was in the mood for it. Their milk chocolate mocha with light ice was delicious It made me very happy and our pup was super happy with the treat they gave him. In the early afternoon, this place had a line, which is a good sign. The line moved quickly but also gave me time to study their menu to see what I wanted. They specialize in Hawaiian style drinks, so I settled on a Hawaiian matcha. The guy taking me order was super sweet and friendly. I was wearing my favorite Monterey Bay Aquarium sweatshirt and he commented on how that aquarium is one of his favorites! Me too! He asked me what was my favorite thing about the aquarium and I told him the sea otters. I asked what his favorite was and he said the jellyfish exhibition and omg that was soo good! I remember being at that exhibit for awhile as the jellyfish light up and there are so many kinds and so cool to see how they move! In any case, it was so nice to talk about an aquarium we both love!! The Hawaiian matcha was great! I love that they used their Hawaiian syrup in my drink. The drink was pricey, so with oat milk substitution, and a tip, it came to $10. But, think of it this way, you are also using their beautiful facilities and you can lounge here and do work, read, spend some time here. The place is massive, with tons of seating inside (its all open space, so a nice ocean breeze keeps coming thru), and lots of seats outside too! I LOVE THIS PLACE!!
