In comparison to other tea places we are used to, this place was different. I'm use to being in control of the sweetness level of my tea. I ordered the Thai tea, and it was just too sweet. Personally, it was lacking the Thai tea experience. It was also not the bright orange I'm used to seeing. We also got a strawberry tea with popping boba. First time I've seen a milky texture floating at top. This was a wasted drink. It looked like the employee blended the liquids as there was no ice, probably the reason for the milky texture sitting at the top. My daughter ordered a bubble waffle that she enjoyed. We are new to Shreveport so still trying to find the tea we are use to. A plus, the inside of the store was clean. Customer service could use a little work, but overall, we will most likely come back to try something else on the menu. read more

My daughter loves boba. So any time a new place opens, we have to check it out. Bestea is bright and welcoming. The floor is painted like clouds, and there is a comfy lounge area to hang out and wait for your order or watch tv. The drinks are very customizable. You can pick non dairy options, adjust the sweetness and even the ice level. The staff were friendly and helpful. I chose the rose milk boba and my daughter got taro. We both wish we had not chosen less sugar. While maybe healthier, it made the drinks bitter. I definitely would not get the rose milk again. It tasted like soap. The taro was much better. My friend told me about this place that just open, so we decided to try today. There aren't very many boba places in Shreveport and if there is any, they aren't that good. Let me tell you WHY I love this place already and we just tried only 3 things from their menu. 1/ The boba is perfect, not too mushy, not hard but chewy ENOUGH. For boba drinks, the Boba is very important and it needs to be cook right. 2/ You can adjust your sweetness/ice to your liking. It's not a one size fits all. Some people like it sweet, some don't and they will customize to how you want your drink to taste. 3/ They use REAL fruits for your drinks. We ordered the mango fruit tea and it's real mango smashes up. Artificial flavor are gross and that being used almost everywhere. So when it's a place that use real fruits, it's one level up higher than other places. Give it a try, sometimes you might order a flavor that you thought you like, but you end up didn't like it. Try another one. Support small business, especially during this hard time. And no, I'm not associate with this business. Bestea has really high quality bubble tea. I had the strawberry fruit tea and Besttea did a great job of incorporating fresh fruit, lychee jelly, and the tea all together. The bubble tea made here is on par in terms of quality with the Boba shops that you will find in California. However, the prices here tend to be a bit on the pricier side and this is one of the most expensive boba drinks I've bought in the US. However, it's nice the Shreveport has a boba place and it's place to come to treat yourself when you have the opportunity. read more

The staff was friendly and the drinks were on the high end of what a milk tea shop should be shooting for in terms of quality. We recently moved here and were really missing our tea shops from back home which were plentiful. There aren't a lot of bubble tea shops here in Shreveport and I was happy to find Bestea. I ordered the Passion Fruit green tea with aloe and it was delicious! The lime slices added a nice element. I ordered 25% sweet and I feel it was still pretty sweet but I was able to go home and make literally three drinks by adding ice and water. The teas cost a little more than I'm used to paying but I understand they don't have the volume of sales as opposed to the tea shops back home. Will I come back? You betcha! read more

Fantastic, authentic tea. The vibes in this place are great. It's cozy, great for hanging out in, and keeps getting cuter each time I visit. My favorite is the strawberry green tea with aloe jelly. It's refreshing and not too heavy. Their desserts are good as well - they seem to change regularly too. This is such a lovely local company, be sure to give them a visit if you can. Tea newbies be warned -- this is not the same as most boba shops. Their tea is more than just powdered mix in milk, which can be off putting to people who haven't had it before. Bestea is the best boba place in the Shreveport/Bossier area. The prices are a bit high but I understand because they have so many flavors and teas to choose from. I also enjoyed their Matcha Tiramisu last time I went so I will be definitely be back and make this my go-to boba spot! read more

So not only was this my first time in, but also my puppies first restaurant! I've been looking for a closer boba place to me than where I was going, and I have successfully found it with this establishment. I love the options they have, I got the Taro milk tea with original tapioca pearls and strawberry jelly.. Delicious. I definitely want to try one of their slushes, and a fruit juice. We will be going back. Sat at the puzzle table for a good 30 minutes putting in missing pieces while Lila slept on the cool floor. Service was quicker than I expected to be honest we got in line and within 10 minutes I was drinking my tea even though they had quite a few orders. Highly recommend!! Great boba shop! They have great customer service, friendly workers, and a cute interior. Like most boba places I've been to, you can adjust the sweetness and the amount of ice in your drink. My go-to drink is the regular milk tea with black boba. Great flavor and the boba is cooked well every time I visit.
