The former Wendy's has been remodeled and has a whole new look to it. I don't understand the lobby seating- the dining room is seat yourself. Place your order at the counter and find a table. They'll bring you your food. I arrived at 12:45 and had my meal by 12:55. Triple Delight: pork and chicken and Beef with vegetables and an egg roll. Nothing was very remarkable. As my engine idles in the drive thru here, I can't help but feel like that CEO that got caught having an affair on the Coldplay kiss cam. Me, all hugged up with this new restaurant while my first Chinese Food love, Ming Garden, sits within sight of me Just across the highway. Hey, I just wanted to try something new. Something different. Is it weird that I feel guilty eating here? I'm actually a big fan of the Peking in Ruston. It has a buffet. This Peking does not. Ming Garden is cheaper too. And when I paid with a card going through this aforementioned drive thru, they busted out the clipboard for me to sign the receipt. Is it 2007? And there was a spot on the receipt to leave a tip. Now, this may be also for the dining experience inside the restaurant, but who needs that tip/no tip internal conflict struggle while signing the receipt in the drive thru as Ming Garden stares judgmentally right at you through your windshield from across the street? Talk about awkward. I ordered the Sesame Chicken and it was a solid choice. But I guess I'm a Ming Garden kind of guy through and through. For life. But I'm glad Peking is here and that they took over the old Wendy's in Shreve City. read more

The staff was very friendly. My entree general Sao chicken was excellent. I actually had some sauce. That alone gets 5 stars. The dish tasted delicious. I will return. The rice was fluffy. You get 2 scoops of rice. Another 5 star move. I got a good portion of food. Excellent lunch visit for me. The chicken pieces were fried good and meaty and not just batter pieces. read more

Must have a new cook in the kitchen. we have come there several times per month for couple years and mainly for the egg rolls. Last two times, they were dripping with grease and we returned them only to come home with same product, which was thrown away. We found another Chinese take out place in Bossier and the egg rolls were perfect, crispy and not soaked in grease, so will give our little bit of business to the other place from now on out. Tried to get them to figure out why the egg rolls were soaked in grease and dripping, but it did no good and got the same product. Staff was very courteous.....but who is in the kitchen ? read more
