I'm a huge empanada fan and came here this morning for some coffee and empanadas early this morning so it was empty except for one person having coffee, so the service was quick. I had a cafe con leche and 2 chorizo empanadas. The cafe was great, but the empanadas were lacking in flavor and just plain. I would likely stop by for cafe again but not the empanadas. read more

We were in the area and decided to give this place a try. There's a lot of street parking. It's a small spot more of a grab and go. You walk in and order on the kiosk. I did like that there was a lot of options and pictures they way you know what you're ordering. They bake the empanadas here and I really like that instead of fried ones. I ordered nopales and cheese empanada and my husband ordered beef. I like that there was a vegetarian option because don't always want meat. My empanada was delicious and it was the perfect size. The coffee, Chai and refreshers are also amazing!!! Wow wow wow everything is so good Chimichurri sauce is amazing. Today was stormy, and I decided to grab something simple for lunch, like a breakfast burrito, sandwich, or empanada. Ive always passed this place on the way to the Home Depot or Doyles Cafe, and every time I pass, I always wonder the same thing, "Is it worth a stop?" The beef empanada taste was well balanced. The boiled egg and peppers mixed with the beef made it feel like a heavy bite, but it wasn't. The corn empanada was sweet from the corn. The cheese added the nice fattiness to the corn, creating a savory bite. I enjoyed that the breading was not oily, so I assume it was baked and not fried. I ordered catering from here yesterday and it's always a big hit! It was our third time ordering from here since we've been back to the office and we have yet to be disappointed. All of their empanadas are packed with so much flavor and are quite delicious. I also appreciate the variety they have to choose from especially for folks that have different dietary restrictions. I wanted to crab a coffee and a light bite to eat so I went with an americano and a chorizo empanada. They have a variety of empanadas to choose from whether it be beef, chicken, chorizo, or vegetarian options. I will say that the empanada is pretty pricey. Almost $6 for one of them. The americano ranges in price based on the amount of shots of espresso you get. I would say that the coffee is a normal price for the most part and is average. The empanadas are also average and definitely not worth the price. I am aware that empanadas are probably not as common in the area, but I couldn't justify paying the price when you have other options in the area. This honest reality is that this is located in a place of convenience, so they can have the prices be fairly high, but since I was only passing through, I probably will not be back. read more

I'm from LA and had empanadas over the years at various other places in different Latin American styles. They ranged from OK to not OK at all. The main issue was the crust being too thick and/or doughy 95 percent of the time at the other places in LA. But the chorizo empanada here at Buenos Aires was excellent. Heated up so that outside was flaky and inside steaming hot. Very fresh. Outside was perfectly thin...don't know how they got it so uniform in thickness and consistent in texture. I used to really love this place. They have some great employees, really fun and engaging to talk to. Now they have this unnecessary kiosk that I'm always having problems. Rather than just speak to a person and tell them I would like a Caprese empanada with a 12 ounce coffee I have to use this little machine even though there is never really much of a line .This screen feels useless and often doesn't get my order 100%. Tried this place for the first time today and it was great. The customer service was excellent and everything was really clean and orderly inside. It is a buzz kill going into food establishments where the glass doors are dirtied up and the display cases look like they haven't been wiped down in forever. Not the case here at all. I ordered on their website from my phone and popped in a few minutes later and my empanadas were already in the oven. All the doors were open and it felt covid safe along with staff wearing masks. I had a chicken one and a beef one because they were the ones with no cheese.
