If you are a really big fan of coffee flavored milk with a sugary syrup. This is your place step no further. If you are a fan of coffee, please look elsewhere. I ordered the vanilla latte which was a very milky almost nonexistent coffee flavor. My mom ordered the Neapolitan latte which we have had in the past that other places. We found it kind of fun that they used a strawberry milk instead of a strawberry cold foam, which is what we normally see. And then when we tasted it, it was the most artificial tasting coffee we've had in a while. When we were inside and ordering, we had to wait about five minutes to be greeted, and we were the only people there. We also had a very icy interaction with who we ordered from. And I would say that my mom and I are pretty quick with our orders. We are always kind no matter the interaction, but it still felt a little off.
After battling the Costco crowd, I needed some caffeine, so I wandered into Mugs, conveniently parked in the same lot like it knew I'd be desperate for coffee. The place was clean, the staff lightning-fast and genuinely friendly (a rare combo, like finding an open sample station at Costco). I ordered a Dulce de Leche Latte, and it was bold, sweet, milky caramel magic!!! Yummm!! Woke me up, filled my soul, and made happy.... so delish!! Highly recommend!
MUGS Coffee Roasters is a small coffee joint located on W Gladstone St. The coffee joint itself is small, modern, and has a welcoming atmosphere. The service was great and the workers were nice, professional, and had a positive attitude. I ordered the Iced Vanilla Cream Latte and in about 5 mins, my drink was ready. The latte looked very appealing and tasted great. It wasn't too sweet and you can taste the boldness of the coffee beans as well. The drink was smooth and creamy. It's definitely a solid drink to get your day started or if you just feel like a coffee. Overall, I enjoyed my time and it's definitely a good location to study or do some work as you sip on a drink. And if you want a break from Starbucks or Dutch Bros coffee, this is definitely the place to go. I will be coming back at some point to try more items. To my knowledge, no military nor first responder discounts offered.
I have been going to Mugs coffee in Whittier, and got excited when I found out there is one closer to me. It is very convenient as it is in the same plaza as Costco. I decided to get my coffee before I go to Costco. It is very modern, clean, and neat. There were a few tables to sit and hangout. Service was fast and servers were attentive. We ordered matcha latte, and cold brew cafe de olla, the matcha latte has the perfect sweetness for me, but I would be better if the matcha is a bit stronger. The cold brew cafe de olla is very strong and not too sweet that can totally keep me awake! Will come by again for coffee before I go to Costco!
I have tried most of their menu and a lot of their drinks are so yummy. I appreciate that they have keto friendly options and seasonal choices. The service is always great here and the ambiance is chill. I love the dulce de leche croissant as well as the latte. The cafe de olla is super yummy hot or as a cold brew. I was even able to get my dog a treat which is so sweet of them to give me.
Didn't know MUGS had a location in San Dimas! It's been years since I visited the OG location in Diamond Bar so thought I should try it out again. Sadly my champurrado latte was milky and didn't have any espresso taste to it. I haven't had a lackluster latte in a while so hopefully they work on their milk to sweetness ratio. Tasted like a fancy chocolate milk haha.. Workers were quick and friendly at least!
First time at this location. It was super clean inside, and thankfully not busy at the time I went. I ordered an Iced Matcha Latte and it tasted really good. Just the right amount of matcha and creaminess. There's lots of parking available, and other businesses to see in the large plaza that MUGS sits in. There's one restroom for customers.
This is a sweet addition to the area! I'm not in San Dimas often, but had an appointment in the area and stopped by briefly about a month ago. I had a white mocha with some extra caramel added in to soothe my sweet tooth (which they had no problem with adding :)). Service was very friendly. They have a pretty diverse menu with some unique drinks! All drinks can be made iced, hot, or slushed which is pretty cool. Coffee was great for its size and price. Interior has about two tables and a bar toward the entrance, nice and clean.

I dropped by here when I had some time during a lunch break. I've had MUGS saved for a bit of time now. Now that I had a chance to try them I can't wait to go back. First impressions of the spot is it's very quiet and a chill place to have a cup of coffee and relax. The staff here was welcoming and answered questions I had about the MUGS app. The menu has an abundance of options that is was tough for me to decide. I ended up going with the MUGS Mexican Mocha and it was solid! The flavor and right amount of sweetness is why I'd recommend it to others. They also have milk alternatives available which is great. Currently, they also offer a Happy Hour BOGO 50% off from 4pm-Close deal. Overall, MUGS has so many drinks to offer that I wanna go again and again to try some. Hands down, a great place for some coffeee. Thanks, MUGS!
Yasss I found a new favorite latte! Their Iced Banana Horchata Latte is AWESOME. Would order again. A creamy banana horchata flavor, not that sweet and perfect with an extra shot of espresso added with cinnamon powder sprinkled on top. The banana flavoring wasn't that artificial tasting either, a plus. Perfect summer latte!! I think they don't have any homemade pastries, but they offer muffins, cookies, brownies, and cake pops to name a few. I ordered the Blueberry Muffin, super moist and not too sweet, you can tell it's not homemade by MUGS but provided from a vendor they buy from, still very tasty paired with the latte I ordered. I would definitely reorder from them in the future. Recommended coffee spot! PS, their Iced Matcha Latte is so bomb too!! Wayyyy better than other places including Starbucks matcha.
First timer and they didn't disappoint. They have a happy hour special that started in the afternoon and since we were only 5 mins off, they gave us the bogo. Made our first time experience so good from the get go. Thank you! My hubby got the strawberry lemonade blended and I got the creamy vanilla latte. I loved my coffee and will definitely come back.

Very disappointed with the iced horchata latte. I paid an extra $1.50 for cold foam, and it was basically just milk poured on top--not the thick, creamy foam you'd expect. The drink itself barely tasted like horchata and was more reminiscent of plain oat milk. To make matters worse, the lid isn't designed to drink the foam directly, so you need a straw to even experience the cold foam. That might make sense if the foam was actually good, but in this case it wasn't worth the extra charge. Overall, the flavor, presentation, and upcharge all missed the mark. read more

Tried MUGS Coffee Roasters in San Dimas for the first time on a Sunday afternoon. The barista at the register greeted us promptly and wanted to take our order. The menu online had a Spanish iced latte but I didn't see it on their actual menu. When I asked if they could make that she said yes :) Didn't take long to make the drink. The latte tasted good not too sweet. We were the only customers in there until another group of two came in so it was pretty quiet inside. The place is very clean has cute decor. Small area for sitting. They also sell merch there. read more

I ordered the Neapolitan iced latte with oat milk. It was cool looking, with pink (strawberry), brown (chocolate), and white (vanilla). I also got a sweet cream on top. It had a stronger coffee taste and the chocolate kind of takes over on the drink. I will go back again and try a different drink. Seating: there are table booths that are not plus size friendly. There is a bench, and two single couch type seats that are plus size friendly. It was a cute place and I will go back again. read more

coffee tasted like milk....strawberry milk. got two drinks and both were just milk. bagels were barley even toasted and they gave one packet of cream cheese. not coming back for sure, wasn't even worth it to go back in and change the drink. read more
It's been a hard day's night, And I've been working like a dog. It's been a hard day's night, I should be sleeping like a log... Quick stop for some coffee after a Costco trip. Coffee was served quicker than we could sit down. Asked for their most popular drinks and they have a section ready to go on their menu. Nice touch. The Iced Dulce de Leche was nice. So nice that my wife drank almost all of it. From what I experienced it was flavorful but not too sweet which is nice. I do want to try more off their menu. Maybe next time I will have to order for two. Nice place to sit and enjoy a cup or grab and go. It's small inside but still cozy. They have an app to earn rewards and a happy hour as well. I do look forward to trying more coffee and see which one is their strongest and keep.me from sleeping like a log. God bless read more

So disappointed in this drink I ordered yesterday. I ordered a iced strawberry matcha and once I came to work the color turned into a brownish color & did NOT taste like matcha what so ever. I left a review on Google and they stated they issued me a refund. I can confirm there was no refund to my account. So not sure if they're stating that to look good in their reviews. I keep trying to like this place, but they keep giving me reasons not too. read more

Mugs mugs mugs and they're nowhere to be found. Mugs mugs mugs hopefully one day they'll come around. For now I'll be okay with just to go cups. The menu is loaded with a lot of Spanish influenced flavors so I went with their classic ones. First up was the Cold Brew Cafe De Olla which had a nice cinnamon taste after each sip so that was good. Next up was the Champurrado latte which had a very subtle hint of corn mixed with chocolate. The drink is pretty sweet for my tastebuds but for those of you who enjoy that type of drink then it's a go. I'm not sure what roast they use but the coffee does have a decent kick. The space is small but still enough room for ten people comfortably at best. The service was good and friendly so I'll definitely be checking out more of the menu in the future. Tried this place on Mother's Day. It's in the same shopping center as Costco right next to the Kristy kreme, place is super clean! I will admit that and the cashier was nice. I had ordered a cold brew with vanilla foam and she asked if I wanted milk in it since it didn't come with any. Having a cashier clarify what comes in the drink to a first timer is always helpful and appreciative! So thank you for that! Overall the coffee was ok. I think I would come again and try something else as my drink ended up tasting more like milk than coffee! read more

Spacious and clean coffee shop...customer service was nice and helpful! My husband ordered the banana horchata latte half sweet and I ordered the blueberry horchata latte half sweet...I absolutely loved my drink! My husband loved his drink too!! Can't wait to go back! My tip: if you don't like your drinks to be too sweet, order them half sweet or no sweet. read more
Just the name MUGS had me thinking they were associated with one of my favorite (The Mugs in Diamond Bar), but they're not... nonetheless, they were still great! I came for a modest request to have a dirty matcha, explaining that it was a matcha latte with espresso - no syrup or sugar, though, since I"m not a fan! Although the staff understood and incorrectly prepared it sweet, they were quick to make a new one, and I appreciated that they let me keep the other one as well. I had come also to get some work done, but to my dismay they do not have Wi-Fi. Now, most cafe have Wi-Fi, so if you are looking for a place with Wi-Fi, consider elsewhere unless you have a mobile hotspot or don't need it. What's the best part about MUGS? Their space is as tall as their large cups - HIGH. The spacious interior really helps sound, not that there is much to begin with other than their music. There are a few tables inside and even a cute mirror and decor, giving off a darker, rustic feel. The greens are intentional, and the space like the staff are inviting. Returning? I just visited MUGS Coffee Roasters in San Dimas, looking for a new spot to work for a few hours and my review is mixed... It's located in the Costco parking lot, next to Krispy Kreme. That's a convenient spot. The black and wood design gave it a modern and comfortable vibe, but I quickly noticed there were no outlets at the tables, which isn't great for working. And, it's rather small inside. Given the name, I expected something like Penny Roasters or early Klatch, where they roast their own beans on premise - was kind of hoping for that as I love the smell of freshly roasted coffee. Since I'm fasting, I went for a black coffee instead of my usual latte. I pulled up my laptop while waiting and a minute later my coffee was ready. The coffee was much much lighter than expected, almost tea-like, which was disappointing. It didn't meet my expectations for a place with 'Roasters' in the name. They didn't ask if I wanted light, medium, or dark... they just served me a coffee. Normally, I also visit the bathroom in coffee shops and restaurants as it's a clue to how they maintain the rest of thier business, but I forgot to stop in - will do next time. It all looks new so I'd expect it's clean. I tried working for a bit but a large group walked in which filled the small space and it was just awkward feeling, so I left. I almost felt like giving it a three, but I plan to come back for a latte. For now, I'll give them a four and update my rating after my next visit. read more
The Iced Vanilla Cream Latte (Large - $5.95) is a lot of liquid. It's milky coffee with a lightly roasted flavor without the caffeine kick. The drink is not watered down, but I did not feel awake after downing the drink. It's a very forgettable, pricy coffee. MUGS Coffee Roasters is located near the Costco (San Dimas). It sits beside the Krispy Kreme. I arrived on a weekday (around 10:00AM). Surprisingly, five more customers arrived about 15 minutes later. Firstly, MUGS Coffee Roasters' Popular Menu is misleading. Those prices only reflect hot drinks. All iced medium (+50 cents) and iced large (+$1) will have a price increase. I will attach a zoomed up photo of these extra costs. Secondly, MUGS Coffee Roasters' is short-staffed. Thankfully, my milky beverage arrived in three minutes and 28 seconds. However, I noticed the customers behind me wait for over eight minutes and longer. Staff consists of one friendly lady. Concerning ambiance, MUGS Coffee Roasters (San Dimas) is clean, well-ventilated, and cozy. It's a bit cramped with its few furniture and tables; however, it looks newly furbished. The music also played gentle, rhythmic music. The vibe felt very "college student classy." Most interestingly is the "promise" on each receipt (photo attached). The "Coffee with a Cause" claim says any unsatisfying drink can be replaced or refunded. That's a brave proposal, and I applaud them. Unfortunately, I had to leave soon, and the one staff member seemed burdened with the piling orders, so I chose to leave instead. Overall, MUGS Coffee Roasters (San Dimas) is a forgettable, pricey experience. Perhaps I'd find more happiness with another drink, but the Iced Vanilla Cream Latte tasted like a free sample from Costco. We have got a new coffee spot in town, and it is serving up some goooood drinks! Currently they are open only until 2pm, but hopefully that changes as they get more staffing. + always good service + good sized menu + mmm the horchata latte is fantastic, they even have a keto version as well + parking is a breeze. It's in shopping center so there is plenty of parking. It's between the Krispy Kreme and Nektar juice + very clean location + few tables if you plan on staying to enjoy your drink. But I notice most people just take to go and they get plenty of delivery orders! + you can order online if you want to pick up and go read more
We got a matchata, cafe de olla cold brew with an espresso shot added and strawberry horchata latte -- the BEST. The cafe de olla was the best I've ever had hands down! I didn't get to try the matchata or strawberry horchata latte due to them having dairy but my boyfriend gave 5 stars. The cafe is cute and has a few seats. Service was good and the barista double checked to see what drinks had dairy and which didn't, so nice of him! read more

Mugs Coffee Roasters is a nice coffee shop in San Dimas. It is adjacent to Krispy Kreme in Costco shopping plaza. The place has a pleasant and relaxing vibes. They have indoor seating. The menu includes hot drinks, cold drinks, iced and hot coffee drinks, keto friendly drinks, caffeine free drinks, and specialty drinks too. They have pastries. I tried their apple turnover. It was light, buttery and flaky with adequate sweetness and filling of apple. I ordered the following drinks -Strawberry horchata 5/5 It was creamy with sweetness of strawberry and the richness of spiced horchata. I really enjoyed this drink. - Mango Matcha lemonade 3.5 / 5 It was my husband's choice. You can taste the three flavors but the lemonade was the most prominent. - Caramel Dizzel latte 5/5 It was creamy, rich espresso and complemented by this sweetness of caramel. Just an excellent drink! - Matcha latte 4/5 It was refreshing, but their matcha was light. The service was fast, although there was one barista. The barista was very nice and helpful. She answered all my questions about the drinks and warmed the apple turnover. It's a nice coffee shop to stop by and try some refreshing drinks. read more
