Another amazing santa fe restraunt. If your visiting canyon road, I suggest grabbing a quick breakfast or lunch here. The outdoor seating is perfect. Shaded, umbrellas and just perfectly seated in the middle of canyon road.

A great little cafe with the best Caprese sandwich I've had. Love the ambiance and art pieces.

Lucky me. On my visit to Canyon Road today, I had planned to lunch at Cafe Greco (whose website said they were open) which was closed. When asked for a lunch recommendation, a nearby gallery owner said, "We're going to send you somewhere much better - Cafe Canyon!". Sure enough, I had a delicious chicken salad croissant and Americano at Cafe Canyon on their quaint outdoor patio. Friendly proprietor, and good food at reasonable prices - and all on Canyon Road.

Great coffee, relaxing setting, and gracious owner. They also have gluten-free brownies from Kakawa and a few light options for lunch. I will definitely be back!

Had a delicious white mocha and enjoyed seeing some pretty fun in the process. Friendly service as well. Didn't try the food but I'm looking forward to doing that in the future.

On Canyon Rd. this little place is delightful. The menu of sandwiches was unique and our party of six enjoyed them. They have a coffee bar and you can get your fratte-lattes! Pleasant service, atmosphere artistic, excellent experience. Highly recommended

The café has a cool, modern vibe with plenty of indoor seating as well as a nice outdoor patio. They were very busy on a Saturday morning. The counter staff was very matter-of-fact. Not rude, but not especially warm or welcoming either. Honestly, I got the impression she was just under a lot of stress. We also asked another staff member if we could use one of the patio umbrellas (they were all closed for some reason), and he was prompt and friendly, which we appreciated. We ordered a toasted everything bagel with cream cheese, a meat-filled empanada, a honey latte, and a cold brew. The cold brew was a little too dark for my taste, though coffee preferences are definitely subjective. Interestingly, there's a place in Albuquerque that has an almost identical flavor profile. The toasted everything bagel was very good, but it didn't come with quite enough cream cheese. The single cream cheese packet also felt a bit lackluster presentation-wise. That said, when we asked for more, the response was friendly and accommodating. The honey latte had beautiful latte art and great flavor, definitely a highlight. The empanada, filled with ground beef, green chile, and piñon, was a bit over-toasted, but the filling itself was flavorful, even if somewhat sparse. Overall, I think 35 North has a lot going for it and could easily elevate the experience with a few small improvements to consistency and customer service.

It was sweet without being too sweet and the rosemary, thyme and cardamom gave it a unique twist. This place is on the smaller side and there's not a whole lot of seating, although they do have a few outdoor spots. The service was okay: a man taking orders and handling the register was friendly and cordial, while the woman making the coffee was a bit dry in her demeanor. However, the coffee was excellent, so that didn't bother me at all. The croissants were soft, warm, and very tasty, a perfect match for the coffee. The café also features artwork hanging on the walls, (looks like they like cats very much ) and a small section of magazines and newspapers near the entrance, which I really enjoyed. The location is excellent, right next to a independent bookstore, making it a great stop before or after browsing books. Overall, I recommend this café for its quality coffee, relaxed atmosphere, and convenient location.

We definitely preferred to European style with almond milk, but I think that we would like the more traditional ones if they were made with milk. We also really liked the brownies, though the Aztec brownie + ice cream gave me an intense caffeine overload--my fault! Our first time here we each got an ice cream, both with fudge and whipped cream. As I said, while the Aztec was delicious, it really was too much for me, but I still ate the whole thing! I was surprised by how much I enjoyed my husband's mint chocolate chip--the peppermint flavor was real--it tasted like they soaked the milk with peppermint leaves to make it, and it was so refreshing! We liked the chocolate truffles and bon bons so much that we ended up buying them as gifts. Our favorite flavors were the sage/goat cheese, peanut butter bar, Aztec round, bourbon pecan, and lavender. Finally, the service was outstanding. The servers were so kind, patient, and helpful. Our first trip the server took the time to write each flavor on our box of chocolates so that we would know what was what. For a specialty chocolate shop, customers should be able to expect knowledgeable and engaging guidance, especially when navigating a premium selection. Instead, it felt as though our questions were an inconvenience rather than an opportunity to share expertise and enhance the experience. The lack of warmth and customer engagement significantly took away from what should have been a memorable experience.
