Service was good and I enjoyed my coffee. My wife hated hers it tasted like chai instead of coffee. I'm not sure if maybe it was the wrong drink. But we were the only ones in there. She didn't try it until we had already left the store so she didn't want to take it back. read more

Always looking for good coffee when I travel and was so pleased with this cute little shop in Santa Fe. Right off the main plaza, this is a little hole in the wall. No seating inside but some tables outside. Staff is super friendly and quick! Lots of classic coffee options and flavors, small bites like breads and fruit but not a full meal if that's what you're seeking. Had a latte and banana bread, both of which were delicious. read more

Came first thing in the morning. Raspberry latte was phenomenal! Tried the potato egg and cheese burrito (I think they're outsourced from somewhere in town). It was good just cold. The place is very tiny, so not much atmosphere. The drinks were good, however, $35.00 for four drinks and a burrito is steep! The burrito was good, however, a bit too spicy for me and it wasn't listed as spicy. The service was adequate. read more

It's hard to find a decent Cup O Joe in Santa Fe. Sure there are coffee shops everywhere if you are wanting something obnoxious like a non fat half spritz Carmel mocha with twenty pumps of dairy free creamer. But for just a plain coffee I tend to stick to Dunkin or gas stations. This place does it really good though which makes me happy. The price was also reasonable and the employees were nice. It's a bit small on the inside though but they also have pastries available as well. read more

I liked this place so much yesterday that we just needed to come back in today for the Honey Rose latte again. Made with almond milk, it was a perfect choice for me! They have a few seats out on the sidewalk so it's a nice little spot to watch the world go by on a Saturday morning. Service was excellent, and everyone was very friendly and if we lived here, I would be a regular. read more

Finally! We learned this weekend that good coffee can't be found at every spot in Santa Fe. The Mud Hut has nice flavor, meets expectations. Seems like the city offers lighter flavor in coffee than what we find in other cities. I'm actually here to say wherever they make or source the burritos, they are bringing in the best.. at least as of this review. Potato, egg, cheese, avocado, green chili... omg, still thinking about this burrito that we could eat while walking along through town. The next time I'm in Santa Fe, this will be my first breakfast stop, not my last. Service was great by the guys behind the counter, clean place, chill atmosphere. read more

Charlie from Northampton here, the latte nut. Five days into my stay, and so far the mud hut blows away the competition for a real, European style latte. And they can do low-fat milk, some here don't. It's a little kiosk with a hip vibe (grunge music at the moment), a few stools inside and several outdoor tables. I'd say 75% of the patrons were local and they all knew the guys working there, who were super friendly. They like dogs and have a stash of dog treats behind the counter. Awesome coffee shop right off the plaza. Great coffee with a good menu and a small assortments of treats to pair with your drinks. It's very very small inside. So you really can't sit and enjoy your drink. But they do have outdoor seating. Very limited thought. Parking isn't easy and can be hard to find. They take the necessary steps to try to maintain a clean environment. If you're in the Santa Fe area take the time give it a try. read more

Was hopeful after reading rave reviews about this place. Two folks working the counter were great, but the coffee was not stellar. We drink Americanos, black, to taste the coffee, and this coffee was a little overclocked (bitter) for my taste. I can see that when people add a bunch of sugar and milk, they could give it high marks, but as straight up espresso, meh. Ordered a couple of burritos which were lukewarm at best and although the fillings were quite delicious, were wrapped in a poor quality, tasteless grocery store flour tortilla. Come on NM restaurants show some pride in your product by using better quality tortillas! read more

Tiny and unassuming, this take-out coffee business provides friendly and fast service. We ordered two large cappuccinos and enjoyed them on a small patio out front. The barista (don't remember her name...) was kind and efficient. She answered questions about some of the breakfast offerings while working on our coffee. This has become my regular stop in the mornings. It's so consistent, always delicious, and the atmosphere is as uplifting as the great coffee. My regular drink is an oat milk latte with a touch of honey and cinnamon and it is super yummy. They use quality ingredients with their farm to cup coffee, hot breakfast burritos and a good selection of pastries plus a great selection of grab and go in the cooler. They play great music, they're always happy and the baristas are the best. It feels a little like I walked into a coffee shop on the beach right out of Santa Fe. The owner gives it that beach vibe and you just can't wait to go back. read more
