The third time we visited we entered through the Chocolate and Cashmere shop next door. I found it funny that the nose ring barista girl happened to be in that shop talking to the girl who worked there, but when we walked in, she quickly exited back to the coffee shop to sit with the other barista at a table in the coffee shop. The chocolate shop girl was so sweet and we even visited their location in the Plaza a day later and she was just as nice, even though that day we did not make a purchase. Overall I do recommend Crash Murder Business for their coffee drinks, but don't expect friendly service. (If you're looking for that, go to Iconik up the street!) Just because you work at a coffee shop and you have a cool haircut does not make you above others. Especially when small businesses work to please their customers and should encourage their return. Kind of a shame...but I would still go back for the coffee if I were ever in town again.

I was disappointed by the upcharge for alternative milk, and that there were no gluten-free bakery items or snacks available. The otherwise peaceful scene was disrupted by an uncomfortable incident in which a homeless person spent quite a long time in the restroom and one of the baristas loudly ordered him to leave. The man eventually left, but I felt the situation could have been handled with a bit more tact and dignity.
