    Menu at Cafe Cappuccino, Waco

I was hoping for the sort of coffee shop where I could sit for a few hours with a laptop and some coffee, but no. This is more cafe and they have a full breakfast menu. On this Sunday morning, the place was crowded and there was a queue so I did the right thing and didn't dawdle after my meal. A lovely ham and cheese omelet was prepared for me. It took about 20 minutes which seems appropriate considering how busy they were. During that time, my coffee was refilled twice and then another cup later. The omelet was a nice sized portion and the marble rye toast was delicious. Definitely a good meal and maybe I'll return when it's not quite so busy. Raw pancakes. All of them were doughy and raw almost to the outside edges.

service and atmosphere is not great. pancakes are more raw than cooked. The only thing we had that was worth eating were the hash browns and the coffee was good. don't eat here. try another place if you want good food.

I think this was a cute little cafe. It gave me the small town feeling which is always welcoming to me. Our Host and waitstaff were attentive which is always a plus. The pancakes ........ so fluffy how I like them. My veggie omelette was just okay. The vegetables could have been cooked a little longer and seasoned. There was no flavor in this omelette. I had to ask for hot sauce just to make it pop. But overall a cute place to try.

I was in Waco visiting and went to Cafe Cappuccino around 9:30AM one Sunday morning. Decent crowd, but plenty of available tables. The staff was especially friendly, starting with a friendly hostess who seated me. My waitress was great about giving me recommendations and while eating, several people asked how my food was. I ordered a side of bacon (nice and thick!), biscuits with gravy (just okay, a little bland), and a cinnamon roll (solid 4.5/5). Friendly and accommodating staff were the best part of my experience.

Ordered eggs Benedict with a blueberry pancake. Didn't like the ham served with eggs benedict, too sweet for the combination and meat was a spongy texture. Pancake came out cold. Sent back for a warm up. Wasn't a satisfying for $20 Server was pleasant and willing to help. Have to remember not to order and try something else should I return. Not everyone's taste like mine.

I'm a Baylor alum that recently went back to visit Waco, and my first stop was Cafe Capp (of course)! This place might not be as fancy as other breakfast spots in town, but it's a classic. And the menu offer something for everyone! I love that the omelets come with your choice of pancake or toast because an omelet and pancake is THE perfect breakfast combo. My favorite pancake is the banana pecan and I was so glad they still had it! Everything was really good. The service is a little slow, but only bc of how busy it is. The food came out in decent time so no complaints!

The quiche and salad is my favorite combo.

Pancakes are huge, latte was perfect. I had the crepes with blueberries and strawberries and they tasted like freezer and were cold.

Magnolia Press is their house coffee shop serving up all the coffee house classic beverages and snacks. Beverages were all the basics with a few specialty drinks, both hot and cold. The food was standard breakfast sandwiches and pastries. Prices for everything were moderate, but expected. I went with an iced mocha and chocolate croissant, while my partner went with a breakfast croissant. The food came out a few minutes before the drink, so we munched on the goods while we waited for the coffee. The food was good and the drink was tasty. It hit the spot for sure! The flow can get a bit backed up depending on how busy the baristas are...and they were busy! We waited a longer time after ordering than we did in line to order, but neither wait was egregiously long. Once we got the coffee, we made our way outside to the courtyard. We passed the small, but cute dining room. The space is gorgeous, perfect coffee house and Magnolia vibes. Overall, great entry point to the market. Lovely vibes and decent coffee!

We got seated right away around 1:30 pm on a Friday. There appeared to be only two servers covering the entire room but they did a pretty good job of it. Our waiter, a young man was quite pleasant and knowledgeable. He used an electronic order taking device and was able to customize anything we asked for, right in the device. Three of us ordered shakes. My friend loves Coconut Cream Pie, which they have and she was considering a shake. I suggested she ask our server if he could make her a Coconut Cream Pie shake with vanilla ice cream. Sure enough, he did it and it was quite tasty. For lunch, we ordered as follows: - Patty Melt with Tots (shared by my wife and I) - Kids Finger Basket with 1 Chicken and 1 Steak finger and tots - Steak Finger Basket with Tots The food was very diner diner-like (fried or flat top grilled) and it was tasty.
