    Misugaru bingo
    sunny L.

Their bingsoo is amazing! I got the misugaru (powder made from various grains) bingsoo and the shaved milky ice was so soft and just melted in your mouth. There are plenty of seats and tables available and the service was excellent. I will be back to try other flavors soon.

My husband and I occasionally came here after eating at Dubu, but unfortunately our last visit will be our final one. We were accidentally double-charged for a drink, and when we asked about it, the owner seemed upset with us for her mistake. Later, while I finished my coffee, my husband asked to use the restroom and was told he should have bought a drink and paid for the seat he was using--despite the café being completely empty (I've added a photo to show this). When I asked if this was her policy and if she had any signage that we missed, she became very rude. I understand this rule in a busy café, but my husband was full from lunch and didn't want anything. I truly hate writing negative reviews about small businesses, but this experience felt unwelcoming and unprofessional.

Bingsu is a must! Really soft snow and perfect amount of sweet for me. Mangos were crazy good, perfectly ripe! Condensed milk on the side so you can adjust sweetness as you wish. Pretty smart. I just wish mochi bits were on top instead of hidden on the bottom though. Plenty of seating and nice, clean interior. Staff were helpful answering our questions.

The taiyaki fish had little flavor, mostly just the taste of flour. The service was lacking; they simply brought out the taiyaki and called out our names without explaining which flavor was which, though we ordered vanilla and matcha how we suppose to tell. The hot chocolate was rich and tasty, but it wasn't hot at all. The atmosphere was quiet, but the cleanliness left much to be desired, as 6 out of 10 tables were not clean, and we noticed dirty liquid stains on the surfaces.

A very nice date spot or hang out for friends. Korean Cafe with bingsu, taiyaki, smoothies and espresso coffees. Great avocado smoothie and strawberry lemonade! Iced taiyaki was delicious!

My 2 friends and I ordered matcha here and it was so yummy! I got a tad nervure at first as the color wasn't as green as I expected, but the texture and taste were spectacular!

We got the strawberry shaven milk ice. It was pretty big and can definitely split between 4. It is packed with strawberries and the ice is flavored so it isn't bland. The red bean is pretty sweet. Towards the bottom we were surprised with extra pieces of mochi and strawberry jam. Overall, it was delicious and would highly recommend! Cafe Clover is conveniently located in the same plaza as HMart and Dubu. It's the perfect spot to stop at for dessert or to grab a coffee. It's pretty spacious and quiet. Plenty of tables to work at & free WiFi. They seemed to have rebranded again.

Great spot to sit and chat with a friend or even get work done! It's a pretty quiet and relaxed atmosphere and the staff is always so friendly. My favorite drink here is the Jeju Hanlabong hot tea. It's sweet and flavorful - if you like citrus, definitely give this a try! The cinnamon roll and the coffee cake are tasty as well. The breakfast sandwiches aren't bad, but I've had better. I think it's the roll they use that I don't love. Overall, great spot to visit for a relaxed vibe and good tea!

Cute spot to stop in for dessert after dubu! Their Taiyaki flavors are unique and made to order

We ordered mango milk snow, strawberry& mango milk snow, sampler taiyaki pack (cookie, nutella banana, red bean, and vanilla custard). For a dessert I feel like it was pricey. 1pc of taiyaki is already $5. The milk snow was delicious and cookie taiyaki. The guy that took our order was rude. They had a lot of seating and area in the back is nice. Great for people to hangout/ do homework/ read etc.

This is a cute cafe for desserts after a meal or a place to just simply relax. The menu has a wide variety of dessert options from coffee to milk tea, shave ice to taiyaki. I got the regular milk tea, taiyaki, and bingsoo which is shaved ice with ice cream and mango. I would recommend the bingsoo of all the items I got as the portion is huge and I don't find a lot of places around that serve bingsoo. The service was good and the food came out at a reasonable time. I didn't have to wait long.

Amazing little cafe with some bakery products and drink selections. I cannot believe they make Yuzu drink here omg, if you never had it you best come here to try it, it's a Japanese lemon drink that's hard to find in America. I didn't get to try their other products yet but they got teas and coffees. The inside looks really cute like a Korean cafe, with books and games. They have nice clean bathrooms for customers to use

There's a hidden gem in Elkins Park - a small bakery near the SEPTA station. I've been there…read moreseveral times and it's been a wonderful experience each time. We went there this morning to pick up a raisin challah - we were making French Toast! The challah is excellent - rich, soft and sweet, it has a tender, delicious taste. The raisins added an extra touch of sweetness to the French Toast. Then there are the numerous pastries and cookies. We decided to get a few Hamentashen (chocolate and poppy), a raspberry croissant, a chocolate and a raspberry rugelach, and the most amazing looking Sticky Bun. I'll start with the Sticky Bun. It was exceptional; a soft, fluffy, and slightly chewy dough - challah like, but denser. It was laced with a sticky, caramelized glaze, studded with raisins and walnuts. It was 'melt in your mouth delicious', and a must try. Next up - the raspberry croissant. This is not your typical croissant - I'm used to the plain, or chocolate - I can't recall having a raspberry croissant before. It's one of the best I've had. It combines a flaky buttery croissant with a sweet, tart raspberry filling. The Hamentashen were good - the chocolate was better than the poppyseed - as the later needed much more Mohn (poppyseed paste). The rugelach was good; the raspberry was too sticky, but the chocolate was fine. If you're near Elkins Park, and you haven't tried Rolings Bakery, it's time you did!

My love for Paris Baguette truly will never die!!…read more This is my new go to place for picking up birthday cakes or even just taking someone to meet for pastries and coffee / tea. I have been to the one located inside the Cheltenham H-Mart and the one in Chinatown, and both are consistent in terms of quality and service. First off, the service is always amazing - everyone is always incredibly polite and helpful, huge kudos to them. Secondly, I love the pastries and cakes. The cakes are never too sweet which is so nice - I love cake but have never loved the really sugary and pasty icing that is so typical of your average birthday cake. Welcome to the world of light and fluffy cream cakes, with fruits and other light flavors. Try one for your next party and everyone will love it, I guarantee it. With your cake comes a cute little plastic cake knife that they'll provide for you and they'll also let you pick out a birthday candle and ask if you want a chocolate Happy Birthday sign. The picture I have is of my lovely umma's birthday cake - she was so in love with it, and she has extremely picky about her desserts, so if my umma loves it anyone will honestly. (I picked a simple fruit cream cake). It's also not huge, which is quite nice - no one loves eating leftover cake three days later. Their tea and coffee is really good, and I've had several of their different tarts and pastries and I have yet to be let down by one. I've also had their matcha and tangerine rolls and U G H I cannot emphasize how good they are!! The interior is perfect for a little dessert date - there's a decent amount of seating and the atmosphere is nice (it's cutely Parisian themed, even though it's a Korean chain. Everyone's wearing berets. Cursed / cute, you decide). The next time you're craving a little sweet treat, please stop in!

This place is two blocks away from me and have since remodeled and is renamed Paris Bakery and…read moreDeli. I don't believe this ever ever was a true Paris Baguette because their offerings are a lot different than the other two Paris Baguettes in the area. Since they rebranded and remodeled the prices have went up. I see they now offer lattes, smoothies, waffles, sandwiches and other things that weren't there before. Most of the pastries, although decent quality were overpriced to begin with and now even much more so. My favorite was the red bean donut and the walnut tart. I'm sorry but $3 is a bit much for a 2-in donut. I never really liked their buns which were about a dollar more and not as good as the ones you get in Chinatown. The lattes look interesting and I may try one. When I first went after they remodeled and rebranded I asked the price of the sandwiches, which were tiny. I don't remember the price but it was pretty astronomical for the size so I would pass on those. Looking at the menu online there's no prices for anything which is never a good sign. As much as I like to support local businesses I won't be getting much from here anymore in the future.
