We ordered bingsu and waited for at least 30 minutes. A group that ordered later than us got their bingsu, so we asked and they just forgot about our order I guess. They weren't exactly apologetic about it either. At least they gave us a refund for our food but that's a given considering that they didn't make it. It wasn't like the place was busy. We shared it amongst 4 people and it was unbelievably delicious. The Strawberry Cheesecake Milk Snow has vanilla ice cream, mocha, fresh strawberries, the milk show and... real cheesecake pieces! We also got taro smoothie that tasted so smooth and refreshing. The bubbles in it were chewy and delicious. As I look around, I can see people studying and chatting with friends. It is definitely a great chill spot to hang out. I felt like I was in a winter wonderland with every bite of the Milk Snow. It melted in my mouth, not in my hands. Came here with my teenage daughter and we enjoyed our time here. It's a cute cafe complete with books and games. We played candy land as we ate our treats. She had the ice cream in the fish cone, she wasn't too impressed with it. She felt like it was such a little amount for the price. She's used to the huge China town waffles and ice cream for around the same price, so that was her comparison. I had the ginger tea which was good. They had lots of other treats to try. I met a friend here for a study date. It was a little difficult to find, because from my understanding, this location has changed names several times. Once I found the café, I had a great experience! There is a variety of pastries, and hot and cold drinks to choose from. This is the first time I have had hot bubble tea, and I loved it! There was plenty of seating. The atmosphere was good for studying, although the pop music that played overhead was maybe a little distracting. There was also a fly buzzing around the café that got really annoying after a while, so maybe Café Clover needs to deep clean? I was craving a fruit smoothie, like the kind I get in South Philly, and was pleasantly surprised to find this gem around the corner from me. Staff is untrained and apathetic. Multiple staff members made errors and did not seem apologetic beyond an insincere "sorry". We waited 20+ minutes for 5 minute taiyaki. They were not even busy. When we had ordered, no one was before or behind us. After we ordered and had been waiting 10+ minutes, someone who came in after us got their order first. I went up only to find that no one even knew we had made an order. Their "system" had a glitch and did not send our order to the kitchen. Yet they had paper slips for orders behind the counter, but apparently that was just for show since no one was checking them! We agreed to wait a little longer for the taiyaki. They paged us soon after and we were excited to get it. BUT apparently they had paged us in error. It was actually meant for another customer. No apology for that until we asked for the alleged "manager", who seemed really confused and was similarly unhelpful beyond a "sorry". We will not be coming back. read more

The Vietnamese Iced Coffee is really good. Very strong, very sweet, and will get you hype for whatever you need to accomplish that day. Red bean and walnut taiyaki is excellent, and they have my absolute favorite matcha gelato. When it gets warmer out, I will definitely be stopping in again for a matcha gelato taiyaki. read more
