A peaceful and beautifully decorated cafe near downtown Redlands. We came after a morning walk and the line was just building up. They had a full food menu and fun and enticing seasonal flavors that made me want to come back for more, such as fig vanilla and blueberry! Service was excellent and the coffee was great. I got the pistachio latte and my friend got the blueberry. While I loved the pistachio-forward flavors, it was honestly too sweet for me. Cafe Cultivate has quickly become my new favorite local spot. My two cents is kind of long but it's worth noting so hang with me... The place- From the moment you walk in, it feels like you've escaped somewhere coastal. It's bright, airy, and inviting with what I I think is a perfect balance of Mediterranean meets California coastal vibes. The patio is also beautiful, the decor is thoughtfully curated, and every little corner makes you want to sit, stay awhile, and enjoy the moment. But it's not just pretty... The Food-- The coffee here is excellent. They use fresh beans from a local roaster, make their syrups in house, and you can taste the care that goes into every drink. The food is just as impressive. A European inspired cafe fare with fresh, quality ingredients that are as beautiful as they are delicious.The pastry case is always filled with beautiful pastries from Twelve Eleven bakery. Made fresh daily with seasonal ingredients and it's honestly hard to walk past without wanting to try one of everything. My current go to is the Trinity Latte (cardamom, maple& pistachio) paired with a Morning Bun. The people-- What really ties it all together though, is the people. The owner is incredibly passionate and talented. You can tell that she has poured her heart into creating something special for the community. The staff are always friendly and welcoming. Some are younger and new, still learning as you'd expect from a brand new business but their effort is evident and that's something worth encouraging. A Friendly PSA about Yelp-- Yelp is a helpful tool but it's still made up of individual opinion. I've read some of the negative reviews, and honestly, they make me a little sad. It's okay to have constructive criticism. It's not okay to act like Gordon Ramsay because your latte took a few extra minutes during a rush. Every NEW business has growing pains but not every review tells a whole story. Imagine being a new business owner and pouring your savings, countless hours, stress, and heart into creating something for your community, only to have strangers tear it apart after ONE busy visit. The conclusion-- We're always saying we want more locally owned businesses instead of chains. Well, this is exactly the kind of place we should be rooting for. I'm grateful to have this charming little place to spend my days off with a nice cup of coffee, delicious food, and a relaxing atmosphere. Cafe Cultivate is a wonderful addition to the area, and I truly hope our community gives them the grace and support every new small business deserves. 1. First time here. 2. Parking was difficult, found out that there's a parking lot BEHIND the building. 3. Not open on Saturdays. 4. I ordered a toasted coconut latte, no fat free milk available, I said 2% then and was given whole milk. No time to stand in line again. 5. Even with a syrup and whole milk the latte tasted bitter. 6. Their espresso machine was down so we had to wait about 20 minutes to order drinks with espresso. Their food was absolutely delicious and would like to try the other items, but some of them are a little on the pricier side. The only reason I didn't give them five stars is because their drinks are inconsistent. The hot drinks that we received were lukewarm. The iced coffee that I got was not sweet enough and it was the same coffee/drink that I previously ordered. I love supporting small (local) businesses so we are gonna go back to try more items. It's always funny to read negative reviews on a business who is soft opening to figure out the kinks of owning a business. That is the entire purpose of a soft launch--to give grace to the organization and give them insight on how to be better--not to blast them for trying. But, we are in 2026, and I digress.. Heard the spot was finally "soft" opening so brought my kids. The place was PACKED. Immediately I was happy for them. The line moved pretty quickly. Staff was very friendly, and very accommodating. We ordered the focaccia sandwich, Romano sandwich, avo toast, passion fruit lemonade, blueberry lemonade, Spanish latte with raw milk, and 3 pastries. We were hungry. Place is very aesthetic, has lots of greenery and light penetrating in--it feels, like positive energy in there. It's very clean. Attention to detail in the salt/pepper shakers, straw dispensers--everything, you can tell someone poured love into this place. Maybe 5 people working behind the coffee bar, drinks came out quickly, even with a line in front of us. Spanish latte was very good, I was impressed with the quality of coffee and milk steam. Kids loved the lemonades--tasted like real ingredients, not boxed flavor. The owner is in the back literally making food and delivering to tables, and was very pleasant. Even brought over some aioli for us to try on the side potatoes. Sandwiches were very good. The bread crispy, nice balance of salty/sweet/savory. The pesto was a hit. Avo toast was very good too (our cashier recommended an egg on top, and it was a good call). The toast was a little too crispy for my liking, but nonetheless flavor profile was great. They know how to work with flavors and balance here. While sitting there, my daughter asked if they forgot about our pastries, and what happens if they end up selling them? And I said it may happen, if it does, we will figure it out. She was right. Out of the 3 pastries, they sold out of one we ordered. Without us saying anything, one of the staff members came and asked us if we would like another option or a refund. She was very polite and understanding and helpful. They're brand new, just days open, and deserve grace. Kids inhaled the food before we could photograph it, but here are the tricks we loved it all. We will be back and often. Way too overhyped! After hearing good reviews online and from a family friend, I was looking forward to trying out this place. I ordered an iced blueberry latte and an iced trinity latte and they were both underwhelming. Just tasted really bitter and not sweet. The cafe wasn't busy either, so I don't think it was an issue of being too overwhelmed to put out drink and food orders. Not sure what happened, but I won't be returning given this first impression. Every detail is well thought out and staff is so sweet. I've tried their Iced Blueberry latte, Spanish latte, iced London fog, blueberry matcha and chai tea latte which are all so amazing. I was looking forward to trying this new place and unfortunately my first visit was disappointing. I was there with my mother-in-law and my infant and we were enjoying our drinks and finishing our food when we were asked to move so another party could sit. I understand that it was busy, and I know restaurants have to accommodate guests, but we also waited patiently until a table became available. The staff did offer to move us to another table, but I couldn't help wonder why the other party wasn't being asked to wait like everyone else or waited patiently like we did. Especially since they hadn't even received their food yet. It was already difficult getting settled with an infant so being asked to pack everything up and move felt unnecessary and inconsiderate. To make matters more confusing there were other parties who had been dining longer than us and they weren't asked to move. Being asked to give up our table while we were still finishing our meal made us feel rushed and as if our dining experience was less important than the other customers. I hope the restaurant can come up with a better seating plan for busy times rather than putting customers in the uncomfortable position of having to move after they've already settled in. Managing sitting arrangements should be handled behind the scenes whenever possible. Unfortunately what started as a pleasant visit, left a negative impression. read more

I forgot what flavor I got, but you could tell their matcha was traditional instead of the fake matcha other cafe's sell. I was so excited to try this place and unfortunately it did not meet my expectations. The cashier at the front needs to learn customer service speaks so low can't even hear what she's saying and mind you no one else was in there, not only that she seemed like she didn't even wanna be there wouldn't even look at us in the eye and when we asked her something she answered rude. Besides the terrible customer service the drinks are not it they taste like straight up milk and you can tell they don't use good quality matcha. Wow! Love this new coffee shop. The cafe is decorated SO pretty inside and out. Chill vibes inside. Good music. Friendly staff. I loved the brown sugar iced coffee. My hubby liked the maple iced coffee. The Roman sandwich was amazing. Like a gourmet chicken caesar salad with parmesan and aioli but inside the most delicious ciabatta bread. The morning bun croissant was heavenly. Reminded me of a cinnamon roll but lighter and better tasting. The fruit cup had mixed berries, peaches and cantaloupe. I came here and got their regular matcha which tasted really good and sweet, but I wouldn't recommend it if you are on a diet. I haven't tried their foods yet but will give it a try next visit. I came here to support our small businesses in Redlands, I myself am a barista and I understand the factors that play into the background. I wanted to give this place a chance. However, the service my siblings and I received was atrocious. The girl at the front taking orders was very unpleasant and rude. I think the person in charge should at least train her more in customer service expectations. She got 2/3 drinks we ordered wrong and since she was so unpleasant we just decided to leave instead of asking for a remake or food. Mine was the only one correct and yet it was mediocre. Super cute café! The only issue was they aren't ready for the volume of visitors yet. We sat for 45 minutes and had to cancel our order because they hadn't started on the order. Another thing thoughtful Cafe finally in Redlands. I got inside for their soft opening and what an inviting atmosphere- absolutely thoughtful decorated and gorgeous. The staff were attentive and knowledgeable- I had the most delicious scone of my life and a chai latte I've been dreaming about ever since.
