One of the few places within walking distance of Loma Linda Hospital. Seems like a nice little spot if you need to get out for a walk or take a break from studying or visiting your loved ones. I placed a phone order which allowed for no wait time. So I suggest calling ahead if you are in a rush. The breakfast burritos in others pictures look really enticing so I ordered one. I got bacon for my protein. The quality and taste was ok. Not amazing and not bad. Size was under par, normal breakfast burritos would eat this burrito as a snack. The ratio of meat to eggs to hash browns was un-proportionate. There was too much hash brown and not enough meat or eggs. The salsa was ok. Didn't have much flavor but was alright. Being few options in the area, I do suggest it if you are not wanting to lose your parking spot at the hospital. Good place, just not what I was expecting. Give it a shot though and make your own decision. They do offer coffees, lattes and chai tea too!

Hadn't been here in a while...service was excellent, didn't seem to rush me, explained the menu. Friendly employees. Food was very good. Had the turkey gyro and it was yummy. The lentil soup was also good. And the coffee was good--I'm not a connoisseur of coffee so I'm easy to please. Seating and ambience was nice. Plenty of seating. Most customers were take out. Parking is limited to street parking--at least I didn't see a lot to park in. Did get a spot right in front of entrance so close to entrance. read more

I'm staying at the Loma Linda Inn and this cafe is walking distance. Service was great and I was a little particular with what I was looking for and I was given options. I definitely recommend this place! I'm out here for a week, so if you're looking for a little getaway, bring a book, enjoy some food vibe, this is the place the be at! read more

Honest review! Unfortunately The coffee is not good here. Iv given it a try multiple times thinking maybe it was an off day or if I ordered somthing different but no it's just not a good place for coffee. However ambiance and service is good! They are all nice and always greet you as soon as you walk in. Iv only had a breakfast burrito there a couple times which are decent tasting. This place is ok for a quick bite if you're really hungry and dont want to drive anywhere else. read more

Called this morning to do a takeout breakfast burrito with bacon. Caller said 10 mins, and it was ready in 10 mins--maybe even faster it was out before I even arrived. The food was 5/5. It's hard to find a good breakfast burrito but this one was great. $7.55 after tax I really liked the vibes of the inside. I really want to come back and dine in when I get a chance. I started working for Loma Linda University Health a year ago. My coworkers introduced me to Cafe Society and I've been hooked since! It's within walking distance of my office. It's very easy and convenient to call in my orders and pick up. I've never had an issue with my orders. They're also very quick and accommodating to put together last minute catering for our office. Al and Maria are the owners and are always absolutely pleasant to me. The prices are fair and the food is delicious. They have a good size menu and a good variety of choices. I would definitely recommend giving them a try! read more

I eat breakfast and lunch here regularly in between classes as a student at LLU. The ppl that work here are really nice and friendly. I really enjoy the hot sauce that comes with the order (although I personally think it can be a little spicier). I recommend their veggie breakfast burrito. read more

This place is good for what it is. Fast service, no frills, food that's okay. I come regularly because it is walking distance from my place of work. The employees are pleasant. Closest place to Loma Linda University that you can get meat (yay)! It's not the fanciest looking place, but more a small mom and pop style cafe. Prices are cheap and it's convenient for students to access that go to the university. There is seating indoors and outdoors (more outside than inside). They also serve breakfast all day, so that's a plus! PARKING: Overall it sucks. Street parking only. BREAKFAST BURRITO: Comes with hash browns, eggs, cheese, and choice of meat (bacon, sausage, chorizo, veggie turkey, ham, beef, chicken, and turkey). I got it with bacon, it came with a piece of bacon not with diced pieces of bacon. It was decently sized and was only $5! Would order it again. Meals are also available to get a drink with this. read more

This spot is a hidden gem. The staff is friendly and kind and remembers you after you've only been there a few times. The salsa here is the most delicious of any place in the IE. THE MOST DELICIOUS. Their breakfast burritos are to die for. Everything is fresh and the atmosphere is great. 10/10. Would recommend. Also, they have coffee. read more

What a lovely find! Friendly staff and delicious food it totally hit the spot! I had just dropped my dad off at the nearby hospital and had an hour to kill so stopped by the nearest place for food. Luckily it happened to be Cafe Society and I'm so glad I went! I ordered a vanilla latte and breakfast bagel and indulged in every bite and sip I didn't want it to end. The service was very friendly, we loved the atmosphere of the cafe, and the food was hot, cooked to perfection. We started speaking with the man that was at the register, and found out he was the owner. We had a great conversation with him, and told him we'd be back. We stopped here after leaving the nearby hospital and it did not disappoint. My son had just finished having some procedures and wanted a very specific kind of BLT with ham and an extra layer of bread. They made us a customized sandwich, no problems, and were very friendly. This was such a great find! Stopped here on my way to get a haircut in the morning and to my surprise the place was empty. I was greeted by a very kind employee who helped me with any questions I had about the menu. I was pleasantly surprised with how cheap their food is. I decided to order a sausage breakfast burrito with an iced latte and paid under $10. The burrito was made to order and absolutely delicious, there was not too much or too little of anything and it was the perfect size, I couldn't even finish it all. Drink was also made to perfection. Location was very easy to find and I was able to park directly in front of the restaurant which was very convenient. I look forward to coming back here and trying other things on the menu. read more

When I tell you this is my go to place, I mean I will go to it as often as I can. For this review, I will be focusing on my favorite food group: burritos. The breakfast burrito is literally one of the best things in the world, and the salsa is WOW. I don't really do super spicy salsa, so I love their house made one. It adds such a nice flavor without wrecking your taste buds. I also love their veggie burrito, again with the salsa, and my husband always gets the breakfast sandwich with turkey. It's really become a staple for us. Al also makes super good coffee for me every time I'm there, so I would strongly recommend. Definitely check this place out. It's a little hidden gem of Loma Linda, and definitely something you have to try. read more

Best.salsa.around! Idk what they do but it's delicious! They're egg potato and cheese breakfast burrito is one of the best in the area but I've also had their potato tacos, veggie sandwich, egg rolls... everything has been great! And for the price you can't beat it. Parking can be a problem though read more

Was out getting some labs done in the Loma Linda California area. We looked up restaurants near us and Cafe Society popped up..... Wat a big mistake. It was a rundown corner location with extremely high prices and very very and I mean VERY small portions. The Pastrami tasted like a street dog I mean it even had carmalized onions, really people carmalized onions, no flavor what so ever. My friend ordered a Gyro (Lamb meat) was filled with lettuce and one piece of meat, again, no flavor what so ever. I really do not recommend this place for anytype of eating. I tried their breakfast burrito with bacon. It was the best breakfast burrito ive ever had. I would chose to go to this place for breakfast over Carolyn's cafe. Their salsa is definitely to die for. Not too spicy but not too bland. Very flavorful. I would definitely recommend this place too all my friends. It's pretty cheap compared to other places. read more

Next I had breakfast and ordered the Chicken fried steak, which was perfectly cooked and full of flavor, my eggs came out just the way I wanted them and the hash browns were nice and crispy. One small tip: I'd recommend asking for the potato wedges well done and maybe a little lighter on the seasoning. My favorite dish was definitely the French toast -- it had a slight crunch on the outside while still being soft and fluffy inside, which made the texture perfect. The red chilaquiles were my second favorite. They had great flavor, and next time I'd probably add avocado to take them to the next level. Overall, this spot is definitely worth checking out for breakfast. Great service, quick turnaround, and really satisfying dishes. I'd happily come back again.

There's music playing in the background but it's not too loud. Definitely a cool little spot to dine in.
